A Pokemon SoulSilver Hardcore Nuzlocke But I Can't Switch!

Just a random dumb idea I had. A Hardcore Nuzlocke, but I can't switch out my Pokemon. Not with switch battle style, not by just switching, and not even with pivot moves. Will this be possible? Will this even be interesting? Idk, let's find out!

Hardcore Nuzlocke rules:
-I can only catch the first pokemon per area
-I can't use any items in battle (held items are allowed)
-I must play on set battle style
-I can't overlevel the next gym leader
-If a Pokemon faints, it dies and can't be used anymore
-If I white-out, I lose

I think I would probably try this challenge due to my usual reckless nature making it good content, but also because I feel like I could still make Insurgence harder. I'm not gonna try to win an Insurgence nuzlocke like that. That would be ridiculous. I'm gonna go as far as I can though. You did play very well, and I think most people would've made those mistakes (although the crits in certain fights made it much harder.) If you do try this again, I'll try to be supporting you in the chat. Can't wait for your next challenge! ❤

Thanks a lot! Trying this Insurgence sounds interesting, I think the E4 would be a major issue just like here but who knows, maybe you can pull it off! I’m hoping to return to streaming this Thursday, albeit it with a different challenge (Pokemon Violet with only resisted moves) but I hope you’ll enjoy that one too!
