Lyrics in English:
Set, set bright sun,
Set, blackout
And you clear moonlight too
Run away, drown yourself (In Tears)
Sad forest, sad sister,
Let’s be sad together
You- for your leaves, forest
Me- for my youth.
Your leaves, forest - my sister,
Are going to get back to you
My youth, forest - my sister,
It’s not coming back. - Игры
Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed listening to this beautiful piece of art! Check out my channel to listen to the rest of Battlefield 1 amazing soundtracks including The Flight of the Pigeon and a hidden soundtrack! Dice did an amazing job!!
thank you so much for this song 😍😘
thnx
do you know if there is a whole Zaidi zaidi song recorded as it is now or EA did just this one piece of it?
yes there is a whole song, its a macedonian old song
This is the Bulgarian music
The last WW1 vet died in 2012, Florence green. They're gone, but never forgotten in history...
Remember us
As long as we remember there sacrifice they shall live on till the end of time
There sacrifices, their stories, not once will they ever go down in history as forgotten.
A man dies two deaths.
Once when his Mortal Soul leaves the earth
And again at the last Utterance of his name
In some ways, Man can be made Immortal.
To imagine how they saw the world change.
This makes me regret everyone i killed in multiplayer...
@Had to Change my Name gotta get that federov tho ;-;
3 people is not enough for regrets 😂 jkjk
RIP PussY_SlayeR_69 :(
I've taken hundreds & hundreds of Multiplayer lives and it saddens me . But I love taking those dog tags though 🔪😈
Gotta get that service star for my Kolibri, it calls for 10 more sacrifices.
I should’ve appreciated this game more when it was in its heyday. It’s honestly one of the best games I’ve ever played, top notch multiplayer and almost everything else.
it’s still kicking ;)
You make it sound like its completely dead, honestly its probably more alive then BFV lol
@@funnelingspace9268 nah ik it definitely is but im talking about like back in the day when ud have servers for everything and it was still getting updates. i still play it, god bless the saltynoob discords and their bf1 servers on pc.

3 years and 7 months ago this game came out. Nearly 4 years seems like a long time, but that time flew like a bird.

It really did. I was still a senior in high school when this game came out.
This game isn't even that old and I'm already getting Nostalgia of playing BF1 with the guys. Operations was so much fun.
FiringallCylinders yeah me too. Better than bfv
Noot Noot Wants Noose Noose Next BF game HAS to be cross platform.
Same, it makes me sad. Now I'm working and gaming less in general. I played BFV for like the first few days and that's it :(
It's drives me crazy that the Kaiserschlakt operation is rare to play now, it's the most realistic battle I've ever been a part of. Monte Grappa and Empire's Edge are also amazing but I'm willing to bet that those battlefields were very different in real life. Ballroom Blitz can't possibly be realistic, how could we beat the Germans with defenses like that? The game does mention that America has never lost more soldiers in a single battle though
damn... that’s true
"Good kid"
:(
i think i was able to feel sad for this if they werent invading my homeland :D
Emocuk Tulotulo i feel ya haha
i think the game did good job to not picture the other side as evils , i felt sad for the ottmons as well when the game showed how many of them died defending thier homes
i agree game did a good job about mission cause... there were no evil side in this war there was no nazis you know.. but in the mission of arabia there had to be an evil looking ottoman empire for the missions concept.. i understood that. my department in collage is history so i know what happened by comparing history records of whole nations... events are not so true but at the end of every chapter game informs us with true information
Emocuk Tulotulo i wish the game release more war stories with the DLCs , Ottomans , Germans , French , Russians ..ect

This game I will miss forever, in its prime it was probably the most fun I’ve ever had playing an FPS with my friends. Thank you Dice for this game. Thank you for pouring so much passion and love into every frame of this game. Thanks for pushing this past EA and giving us some of the best memories we will ever have.
The game is still very active in Operations mode especially with the DLC maps.
@@slickcalf985 It could use some more servers, once in a while you get a hacker.. But it's playable. BF1 in its' prime was something else though. I miss that era of gaming.
Played prior to BF2042 released and the servers were hot. I wondered if I could have one more flawless run as a pilot in operations and did. 118-0 kd and I had a feeling it would be the last time I would do that in the game 🥹
I loved the passion and everything in general about this game. The nights I spent playing longer then I should’ve but made memories that no one can take from us. Thank you Dice. ❤❤❤ From the bottom of my heart.
@@jahovahswitness9769 it’s just such a shame none of this passion and dedication transferred to Battlefield 2042 :(

You never know how to explain Nostalgia. It’s just one of those things where only YOU can experience it. But with Battlefield 1, I feel like everyone can understand how I feel when I listen to this song. Spawning in as a scout, getting your first kill with that OP as hell russian sniper. Hearing that “Kla-ting” sound effect when you get a kill. Playing through the story mode thousands of times. Battlefield 1 was the last good Battlefield game and I’m sad to see it die off. But I can atleast say thank you to everyone who I played with. They really did good with this game.
Fuck you man why did u make me cry 💔😢
Man, you nearly make me cry 😢. Love from Germany ❤️💪

My most beloved FPS
Good old days!!!
So many good memories with this game. Playing with my little brothers for hours on end. Nothing will compare
I lost my cousin to an overdose on Valentine’s Day. We used to party up and play this game for hours. All the laughs, frustrations of not capping flags or not pushing hard enough. This game will always hold a special place in my heart and this song makes me think about him so much. Thank you Dice for making this game & this soundtrack. #LLJG 🕊️
Sorry for your loss brotha… sucks losing someone that you were very close to. Till you know it, you’ll meet again someday reminiscing the good ole days. Til Valhalla!
The sad thing is millions of people lost their lives in this war and most of their stories will never be told
Some of the soldiers were bound for legend, others were lost to history.
That is how history is unfortunately
we do not need to know their stories of then to respect them now, sadly liberal trash burn and insult the very flag these brave men died for
isaiah ashman they should extended the campaign
InViKTus dude, america didn't join ww1 until the end of the war, and that is only because the rest of the fucking world had to ask them to get off their ass. stop with your fucking politics

when this game was in its prime, it was one of the greatest games of all time in my opinion. the soundtrack is beautiful, when i first heard this sitting on the menu screen i couldnt help but just sit and listen. i had never heard anything like it before. the gameplay was so immersive, the atmosphere it creates is astonishing. there truly will never be a game to hit like bf1. was practically perfect, hard to come across that in games today.

This hits differently today
A war to end all wars
Being Turkish Irish my forefathers fought agaisnt each other at the beaches of Gallipoli with my Turkish great grandfather recieving the "istiklar medal" for his bravery on the battlefield fighting directly under Atatürks command.
Both fighting for their families back home, my Irish great grandfather fought out of desperation to send money to feed his starving children back home while my Turkish great grandfather fought bravely for his family as well as to defend his homeland from foreign invaders. If perhaps one killed the other I wouldnt be alive today but thanks to Gods will they both made it home alive. This song reminds me of the tragedy of the first world war and the story of my forefathers, millions killed and millions more suffered and for what?
At the time it wasn't obvious but because of the first world war Ireland had a chance to win back her freedom from Britain while it also allowed Atatürk to become the leader he was meant to be and lead the collapsing Ottoman empire to form the Turkish Republic.
All of the senseless bloodshed wasn't meaningless after all. In the words of the great teacher, Commander and founder of the Turkish Republic Atatürk said:
"Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives... you are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. ... You the mothers who sent their sons from far away countries wipe away your tears. Your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace."

that is one fucking reason that i don't wanna fight in a war, and my brother either ... i don't wanna lose my brother in a war thats terrible, he's just like the whole world for me and i can't live without him. its a shame that such things never changed after that war.... millions of people lost their family's and friends, and on this days it is still going on... because of war... where will it end? when humanity is gone... i know its just a game but that scene hits me realy hard because it looks so real ! I hope that one day every war end and that the whole humanity can live in peace.... without war, without racism, without discrimination and without sexism. that's mine ultimate dream. but when all wars end, i will live already millions years in peace.

BTW the original song is ZAJDI ZAJDI JASNO SONCE by Aleksandar Sarievski , is a Macedonian cultural song. the heart of the Macedonain country. as its a very very sad song.
At 11AM on November 11th, 1918. People around the world took their biggest sigh of relief, as the guns had finally been put to rest. The sound of complete silence filled the battlefields of the Rhine. A silence that was broken by the cheers of the Entente and the cries of the Central Powers
The last WW1 Veteran had died in 2011 in Florida, marking the end of an elite veteran class

Beautifully written. DICE's writers nailed it with this games writing.
Caomh Mc Gillion I have to correct you but the right phrase is this one:
They push, we push Every once in a while we push hard enough that the light breaks through the clouds so the world beyond the war glimmers. Just out of reach. The war is the world and the world is the war. But behind Every gunsight is a Human beeing. We are those people. We are the jaded and we are the naive. We are the honorable and the criminal. We are the boundfull legend and the lost to history. We are the knights of the sky, the ghosts in the desert and the rats in the mud. These are our story's...

Me and my cousin would play this game all night long back during its prime. We had so much fun doing all type of only in battlefield stuff like flying onto the behemoth zeppelin, playing 2 hour long matches of frontlines before it got patched, one of us being an elite class trooper and the other person healing or giving ammo to the other, etc. But the most fun part was just spending quality time with my cousin during those precious moments of having fun, talking about our lives, getting to really know each other. This not just the best battlefield game I've ever played, but the most important one in my life because I got to spend so much precious time with my cousin with all of our late night battlefield sessions.
Sadly.. my cousin did pass away not too long ago, and I can't stop thinking of how I got to know him so well through something as simple as a video game. Before i lost him, he became my best friend, like a brother to me, and even was a groomsmen at my wedding. I'd like to think all this became possible because of our bonding time that started with playing bf1.
I can not stress enough how much this game means to me. Not only is the best battlefield imo, but also the most important one in my life. This song brings back so many good memories I had of my amazing cousin that will be core memories for the rest of my life. I'll never forget passing out after so many hours of playing bf1 together, and randomly in the middle of the night I'll wake up to zajdi zajdi playing on the title screen. It's such an ethereal experience waking up to this beautiful song.
Thank you DICE for making this game, it really did change my life for the better ❤️
Sorry for your loss mate. Truly. I lost my cousin recently, we were childhood mates as well.

The song is a Macedonian folk song and was sung by Turkish singer Aliye Mutlu in the Battlefield 1 game.
The singer's ancestors date back to the Ottoman Empire. What a meaningful production. THANK YOU EA GAMES...
damn this game is just too beautiful
@@balkaba3927 Actually it is..
No matter how many times I listen, it always gives me the chills. Absolutely incredible.
Ign: 7/10 "too much emotion"
Meanwhile..
Also Ign: CoD 10/10
Bob Johnifer well said my friend.👌
War isn't supposed to be fun like CoD show
Atrji_the_khajiit yeah what do they think world war 1 was? A bouncy castle? Too much emotion my ass
Bruh. Have you played the older COD games tho. Specifically, the MW trilogy? Were you THERE WHEN SOAP DIED? DID YOU FIGHT AND BLEED ALONG SIDE GHOST ONLY TO BE BETRAYED BY YOUR COMMANDING OFFICER AND WATCH YOUR COMRADE DIE BEFORE BEING BURNED ALIVE YOURSELF? WERE YOU THERE WHEN YURI WAS BRUTALLY SHOT IN THE FACE? WHEN MAKAROV WAS SO SATISFACTORILY HUNG? WHEN GRIGGS WAS BLOWN AWAY RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU? WHEN PRICE WAS DISCOVERED TO BE ALIVE? WHEN MACMILLAN HEARD ABOUT SOAP’S DEATH AND THE PAIN IN HIS VOICE UPON HEARING SO? DID YOU RUN THROUGH HELL WITH THOSE RANGERS EVEN THOUGH YOU WERE SICK OF HEARING “RAMIREZ, MOVE YO ASS”?! DID YOU DIE A HERO WITH THE DELTA TEAM? AND DID YOU FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SURVIVE WW3 DESPITE ALL THE HELL THAT THE ZAKHAEVS, AL-ASAD, SHEPHERD, AND VLADIMIR MAKAROV HIMSELF INFLICTED UPON YOU?!!!!!? DID YOU? ALSO ARE YOU REALLY BERT FROM SESAME STREE?! IF SO, CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH?!?! PLEASE?!
Too bad this game couldn't live for long
We will remember them :(
instakill90 we don't know them
instakill90 remember who exactly?
lol we will remember the ones that sold their lands to imperialysts
Up the U'S
Is that what the song is about?
Still to this day, it gives me chills and goosebumps
1:55 i have seen the sands of sinai, been to the shores of gallipoli. Lived on the front in no mans land Seen the gardens of buckingham palace. The high peaks of monte grappa. The slow cold volga. Ardennes forest. Bf1 showed me all these beautiful places
,,Good kid" :(
Heisenberg 01 Good kid died slowly and painfully love it
Yasin Isik he lived lol
Finn Simcox nah he got sniped brah
Now, say my name
Kid from the game escaped and jumped on that boat. He shot that flare.
This game really opened my eyes to the sacrifices and impact of the First World War. It has always been over shadowed by World War 2. Who would've thought it would've been a video game company to really send the message. This is more than a video game.
(Update: Almost 4 years later and this game still holds true power over any other war game released to date. Unfortunately BF5 was driven towards political correctness and fiction.)
(Update 2.0: it’s 2022 and this game STILL holds up way beyond it’s time as arguably the best FPS ever. It’s a shame what DICE and EA did to such a great series. BF1 was truly a masterpiece.)
Bobby __47 I always wanted a WWI game and after four years, it has come :)
Bobby __47 I've always been interested in the Great War and have wanted others to also see the horrors and heroes, happy that more people are finding out about this dark time in history which carved the way to the world we live in now.
Blackstar00129 but ww3 is going to happen for sure
MicoeySander They are, lol
I went on a guided trip to visit all the battlefields in Belgium and France like the Somme and Flanders Fields. It's incredibly moving to see so many individual cemeteries dotted about everywhere on the side of the road wherever you go. Visiting the Beaumont Hamel Newfoundland Memorial and Thiepval memorial really put into context how horrific the death toll was. What really got to me is that a large proportion of gravestones are labeled 'A soldier of the great war' as the death toll was so high it is impossible to identify everyone, so hundreds of thousands of men have died unknown. I highly recommend taking a trip to one of those memorials if you ever get the chance, though just looking at images of the memorials is enough to send a message.
I'm still here, i will never forget this
This song still pops into my head even though I haven't played in years. I love it.
0:15 "He never got older...."
"And here I am, still....."
"Who decides such things?
"Buon compleanno, Matteo"
Lolman 96 noooooo stooop. Fuck. The feels.
Don't throw these onions at my eyes you twaaaat
Lolman 96 dont make me cry
Lolman 96 this is the most saddest campaigne ever

Beautiful Macedonian song. Macedonians have amazing folk songs with note of sadness just like this one. Greetings from Serbia.
Alex74Djukic Well this is Bulgarian. As I heard.
Alex74Djukic But also came from the Macedonians
Kelvin S. No. This one is Macedonian. I am neither Macedonian nor Bulgarian and I do not take sides. This one is Macedonian for sure.
If it was Bulgarian, it would be in Bulgarian. Right? Maybe you have difficulty to tell the difference, but average Balkanian doesn't. Half Bulgarian and half Serbian here, and I know of this song as Macedonian. Even composer is Macedonian :)
No, this song is IN Bulgarian, but it's a Macedonian one.
Battlefield 1: the love of my life. I will always play this game. Even after 10 years when everyone left and noone plays it anymore, I will still log in the game, enter the empty desert of sinai and walk around by hearing to this music.
I wish we can go back to good old days🤕. This song hits different when I listen to it man, even after 4 years💔😞
Yeah, i regret not playing it enough back in 2017, because my friends wanted to play cod
Death once asked life: "Why does everyone love you and hate me?"
Life responded with: "Because I'm full of lies and you're the ultimate truth!"..
First time i hear that. Thats what christianity is all about. Preparing for death. Beautiful.
Thx
Damn that's deep

Bf1 still uim my heart and mind, the game that takes me back to the past, I actually was living there when I paly it.
The very first time I played Operations in St Quentin Scar on those muddy trenches and destroyed buldings pushing and dying on no man's land then taking the sector and running to the next sector with everyone screaming charging will be one of my favorite all time Battlefield memories
The Running Ending got me all chocked up with this song
Rainbowsixoperator1 same fam
Rainbowsixoperator1 yh
I cried like a bitch
I cry every time
do u even laugh batman ?
someone was cutting up onions whenever the singing started
Smurry111 fr tho i got tears , for some reason its so somber
The story is more sad from the song its about a young macedonian boy who got killed
Chaz Skillzor well the boy didn’t get killed he got away but the man that was looking after him died
I always get tears, reminds me of countless memories of mowing down others in conquest modes.
As a Australian, I love what dice did with the story and kinda had a Tom hanks acknowledgment to tribute of nations in conflict
Best BF1 moment was playing on one of the town maps (cannot remember the name) but everybody was basically fighting for one checkpoint down an alleyway. Light tanks were there, grenades everywhere, so many players. It was so intense and lasted almost the entire match. Amazing.
Thank god dice was able to put out BF1 before they went downhill. BF3/4 were great in their own right but I feel like they really put their hearts into BF1 so it could represent the Great War in a respectful and compelling way..
Sadly for me this is where dice peaked and I basically consider the franchise dead at this point. Once MW 2019 came out it was game over.
The developers should be proud of this masterpiece.
Battlefeels 1
That singin on the end, so beautifull
yea
Sergeant1990 been looking for it ever since I completed nothing is written, first campaign I did of course. Finally found it!
This is one of the most best pieces of music i ever heard.
This and Ghost of Tsushima are god-tier masterpieces, such a beautiful game
Every time i listen to this masterpiece, no matter how hard i try to not think of anything, the railway, the dunes, the mountains and the golden desert always pups up in my mind.
This makes me turn into a giant goosebump and leaves me crying
"Good kid"
"You're a proper Aussie now."
The ending for that story combined with this song made me actually feel emotional compared to the majority of campaigns games have.
Kokku San got to play the part
Kokku San "not a kiwi are you?"
my friend cried when the aussie died
1:55 Man, thats powerfull af. The feels.
Jav Tiss every time I hear that I'm going to think of yellow snow 😄
Jav Tiss lol true
My young cousin: *Plays battlefield V* Man, this game is crazy! It's like fighting in hell!
Me: *Starts having battlefield 1 flashbacks with this song in the background* No child...
