Never been a big Boker fan (except for the Kwaiken and the killer straight razor I have)... their designs usually don't appeal to me and their cheaper offerings are usually very questionable quality. However, I just picked up a Tech Tool 2 in green today and I am thoroughly impressed. for sub $40 this is a brilliantly executed, beautifully finished, thoughtfully designed tool. An absolute home run in my opinion. The perfect contemporary remake of classic camp style pocket knives. All tools are very nicely centered, no play, snap open confidently, function very well, and are comfortable to use. Also, NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE CORKSCREW!! That is the greatest knot untying tool in history! Seriously
Nice finally, a video about these bokers! I felt like they didn't get as much recognition as they should have had. My friends has one and they are really good! There is going to be a lot of hate from SAK fans, but I actually think that these are just as good, maybe even better (my opinion obviously)
Say Heah, Yeah, When I got my Victorinox Delmont Collection RangerGrip 78 I had reservation whether to get the Phillips or Corkscrew , so I got the Phillips screwdriver, Then a friend of mine uses his corkscrew to untangle paracord and I saw a video confirming that. That's why I got the Bokor Tech-Tool instead of the Ranger 79. Those pliers work pulling out splinters too, but now I can untangle oaracord, But between the two, I like both equaly, But a big advantage is the almost 4" blade in the RangerGrip Victorinox. ,, .. ,, .
these look awesome. It does look like the large flathead/cap lifter is directly from Victorinox. But nice to see some new stuff in the "swiss army knife" market, I like the #3 in green best.
Already have a SAK with glass breaker Rescue Tool - Knife of the Year 2007 Pocket Knife, Swiss Army, Swiss Army Rescue Tool - Knife of the Year 2007 Pocket Knife www.swissarmy.com/us/app/product/Swiss-Army-Knives/Collections/Lockblades/RescueTool/53900
im a fan of bokers but (and theres no hate or animosity here) but the way that the tools themselves are almost carbon copies of victorinox tools is just a blatant copy. cant they just machine their own take and maybe have an pinion in how these tools should be made? come on boker
Boker can seem to get anything right... The number one is the nicest one in the review.. However the designers and marketing must have been asleep at the job to not produce a 2 layer version with just a knife and scissor and no corkscrew.. that would have been the most useful EDC of them all... And fire the moron who ruined the aesthetics by adding a useless corkscrew.. Whoever designed the pocket clip gets an A+.
I agree and Victorinox has a model available with glass breaker. However alot of the glass breakers are not going to break glass if not made from propper material. Just because a company calls it a glass breaker doesn't mean that it will. Between time as a firefighter/medic and now as a Deputy Sheriff I've had a chance to test alot out in the field. As far as folders go with glass breakers benchmade's glass breaker has never failed me.
Another product I highly recommend especially for citizens to keep on keyring or just in car is the RESQME. It's cheap, breaks glass and will cut seat belts as well as clothing if you need access to injuries.

I wonder if they can be taken apart have tools removed. If they can that would be really nice.
Really dig the #1. Definitely picking one of them up. Love 12c27
Are the scissors as good as the victorinox??

This is what I wish Victorinox would make. I really dig 1 and 2.
Is it still possible to pick one up without yhe annoying metal badge that some of the newer ones have?
I love boker :) gonna pick one up for my niece who's a girl scout.
if the clip on the big green one was on the back side where the spring locks are it would be a lot more comfortable in pocket

wish they would take out the cork screw and put a Phillips screw driver option in.
I'm really surprised how the tools really looked to be an exact match to that of the Swiss army knives... like exact
nice SAK alternative
Serrated Saw?????
nice knife. perfect edc for my brother
could have done without the corkscrew
I'll stick with Victorinox and not worry about quality. Thanx.

Die Schere ist eine Katastrophe
Victorinox will still and always be better.
+Rhino Airsoft I'm tempted to agree, but the pocket clip and the glass breaker have me intrigued...

+Grizzly Country Thanks for the suggestion. I may just have to pick up one of those RESQME's! Looks like a very useful tool if I should ever need it.
Grizzly Country Which model of SAK has the glassbreaker?
cork screw a waste of time.
+astondriver I've found the corkscrew on my SAK helps in undoing knots on shoe laces and such.
No thank you, I don't buy Chinese knives period... If I want a scout knife, I'll buy a Victorinox, Case or German made Boker..
+Thor Odinson Is this Chinese?
right handed only, no thanx
Nothing like ripping off Victorinox. I'll stick with the original thanks. I hope these Bokers fail miserably.
+David Lowry WHY SO SERIOUS BRO?
Why so internet meme bro? You mad bro?
Yep.
Keep it going Hot Betty.
You win.
