My top 5 Swiss Army Knives in these five categories: Keychain, Pocket, Pouch, Home/Kit, Camping/Bushcraft. I am only including knives which are currently in production. No two people are going to agree on their top 5 Swiss Army knives, but rather than hate, feel free to say which are your favorites.

The best Swiss Army knife is the one you have in your pocket when you need it!!
Right on. Doesn't matter which one I always feel good with any SAK in my pocket as my edc , preferably the 3 layers .
Is lost on a island with a sak : all the tools are broken :0 lmao
big bob 169 ive seen this comment so many times but it is true
True
yeah imagine saving up for a super expensive knife and getting lost without one...
a 5 dollar knife is better than no knife.
i only use an every day carry knife. mine is the explorer, i play guitar and i build aircraft so the explorer gets used very often. here is my reasoning.
1. both blades for opening boxes without damaging the parts inside as well as delicate scraping and cutting etc. very useful for removing sealant and paint from metal and composite surfaces
2. scissors for trimming my nails and for accurately cutting string on wires, trimming wire shields and cutting off plastic zip ties
3. the Phillips screwdriver is better than any i have available in my company furnished tool box for not stripping the screw and it can be positioned 90 degrees for better torque i tighten and loosen a lot of screws
4. the flat screw driver is perfect for the many 1/4 turn fasteners on aircraft, its also useful as a wedge
5. the hook is very handy for pulling things like lock wire and for separating single wires in connectors
6. i use the magnifying glass quite often for seeing small part numbers on hardware and wires, i have also used it in conjunction with the tweezers for removing metal splinters from my self and co workers. i also use it for seeing damage on wire and for seeing the pin numbers on high density connectors
i could go on and on but this is too long already
I agree, the Explorer is super practical. Only mod I would do to it is to swap the small blade for the electrician blade.
As a helicopter mechanic, I can agree to this. Explorer the best. Magnifying glass are good to read the wiring diagram. Don't start with the philip. Really like it.
This is one of the best SAK videos anyone's done.
Pinki2019 Thanks, Pink!

+1 Excellent review. I'm in full agreement.
I wish he had the Cybertool 41 in there. You gotta get it from Japan though for some weird reason.
WHY, Oh WHY, Doesn't Vitorinox set up a system where as we can choose each individual element on the knife we want, The way we want it ?
We should get to choose size, scales, locking, what blades and how many and ALL features should be interchangeable !
There is NOT ANY aspect to the Vitorinox knife we buy that shouldn't be tailor made SO why then won't they do this ? AND don't tell me COST $$$$ Because they would just charge MORE !
Owen Joseph King I think it is because some of the tools are not interchangeable in different slots. Like the 3D phillips and the corkscrew can only fit in that bigger slot on the back. And some tools like the pliers are wide enough that they can't have a small tool opposite them.
WeAllJuggleKnives Honestly, if they offered this people would give money hand over fist. If you're paying that much, they should contact you and work it out with you. Or create a website where you can build your own. The site would know what can and can not go together or what wouldn't fit the size you're asking for. When finished it would be submitted to Victorinox to be checked by a human and confirmed for production! I know a bunch of guys who buy $200+ SAK knives as it is. They would be all over a custom one.
Owen Joseph King I want t the same thing. but, I have to make my own, just disarming two of them and assemble again.
Economics! If they custom made their knives most people would buy maybe 3 or 4 knives at inflated prices because the'll get exactly what they want and of course have that lifetime warranty. Now however, over a lifetime, the average swiss army knife user buys maybe 10 to 20 knives. So they would have to charge 10 to 20 times the now price for the custom knife and people just won't do that. We want a low price for a manufactured custom knife with a lifetime warranty and we want it now. Tough economics for a manufacturer.
Because you would have to order it, they would have to make it for you and send. You have no idea how much expensive it would be, we would be talking 30 EUR vs 200 maybe. Would you be willing to pay? Yes maybe, but only crazy knife enthusiasts like us, I don't think it would be much profitable for the company it would be tiny revenues compared to wholesale.
I have the huntsman, and I absolutely LOVE it!
My personal favorite also. Good around work, around deer camp or a party
Interesting choices. Not necessarily my choices but I understand your reasoning. The cool thing about SAKs is they come in a variety of styles to fit the personal needs of the individual.
huntsman is the best
I do love that one best, too.
Cork screw/unknotter, saw, and scissors.
Just great for overall self care and outdoors stuff. Also I use slingsots so much I need the scissors.
TomKatom i agree with you AND i aloso think that swisschamp is the best
That's a gut hook
EXPLORER IS BEST
I prefer the climber for day to day use. And the forester for outdoor/camping.
The Super Tinker is the perfect edc knife for me. It have almost every tool you will need when living in the city yet it is slim enough to be carried without being uncomfortable. The Tinker is of course slimmer but I use scissors quite frequently which makes the ST my favorite SAK.
I've personally carried my huntsman ever since Boy Scouts. The hunter is a neat bigger brother to it. For a time, I 'lost' my huntsman and had to get something till I could either find it again or buy a replacement for it. I decided on a Spartan for a temp carry and was pleased with it. I keep it as a standby ever since I recovered my Huntsman and very quickly and happily returned it to my pocket.
The only tools I think would improve the Huntsman for me would be to replace the corkscrew with a Phillips driver and add a file. A lot of people don't know this, but the overlooked parcel hook can open some of those pesky public TP dispensers, allowing you better access to the horrible paper they think is more valuable than gold. Just remember to lock it back up when you leave the stall.
If you have to work around on acreage, you really learn to love the saw. There have been times when I find a twig or small branch that is growing into the walk trails. It cuts through them almost like butter when you don't have your pruning sheers with you.
I also have a clunky Swissgrip that was given to me as a gift, which has been my other most useful tool in a pinch out on the land.
You just cant beat how useful Swiss army knives are in everyday life. If you doubt it, carry one for a week and then try going without it, or carrying something else.
OOOH! forgot about the saw working on a fero rod :) Good one!
Good story docchocobo. The Huntsman is the perfect Swiss Army knife!
Randy Lunn Not my opinion.
Fieldmaster is the same like the huntsman but it got a phillips srewdriver. Think this is a little bit better.
My fav is the Swiss champ I just like the feel of it and think it looks cool
Before embarking on the video, due to your pre-explanation, I'd like to thank you for your honest effort. Whatever the motives are, you've served human intellect and we are grateful...
Reasonable choices you’ve made. As you emphasized, it boils down to personal preference. Thanks for the work you did on this video.
Love this video. I've been using the Explorer plus for my EDC for years
Great selection of SAKs. My personal choice would be a bit different but I can see the logic behind yours. Also, I wish they would start production of Alox Rambler again and make an Alox Compact or 84mm Alox Bantam with a second scissors layer - it would be a perfect EDC for someone who doesn't need all the extra tools.
great video and review. I have three champs, one for each on my get-home bags. love them.
thanks for sharing
dam man you got a ton of those! sweet!
***** thanks, bro!
Big fan of the longer locking blade. I've got one with the blade and saw. I don't know what it's called
Holy Shit 😂
Emanuel S. 3 1/2" locking blade on a Victorinox
shadowdance4666 He said all the names.
I've had my Swisschamp for over 26 years and has never let me down. At the time it was the top knife but, there are so many new versions, this has helped. 👍🏼😊
How useful is the Swisschamp? I thought that the bulkiness would make it unpractical....do correct me though. :)
Nice collection! The tinker is my everyday.
Interesting choices. Thank you for the introduction to some lesser known knives.
Wonderful equipment, congrats sir.
For me... ?
Pocket size - Minichamp ( I really use all the extra stuff, even the ruler ! ; The cuticle pusher is a great spatula that saved me many times at my university when I had to eat something during the lecture and didn't have any other cutlery )
Pocket EDC - Huntsman FTW - ALOX or no ALOX - you can give it to ANYONE and that anyone will always find a good use for it. I live in a village so the wood saw is kinda more handy here.
Belt Pouch - Well I carry mine on a paracord lanyard, but I chose the handyman - for the corkscrew and pliers. I'm still wondering if the ranger woldn't be the better choice but I'm pretty happy with my choice. I carry Handyman and minichamp as my edc, so maybe I messed up the categories here :D
Kit knife - Victorinox Locksmith. - I bought it for my mom and now everybody at home is using it - mostly for gardening works - file is super handy for sharpening other larger tools when it's needed asap and for smoothing poles. Also the screwdrivers on it are excelent ! And the saw... Oh man... And it has an awl ! Almost perfect but I'm not a fan of vic's 111mm design. I would prefer the Wenger's style and their style of blade lock. Beside that, it's perfect for my home.
Outdoors ? Well all I can think about is Wenger ranger 66... A beautiful knife I would gladly use but quite frankly I don't have a outdoorsy dedicaten sak, so maybe I should pass this one.
An interesting video for sure
Also .. sorry for my english, but I'm from Poland, It's late and I'm a bit drunk :D
This was actually a pretty darn cool and informative video! I love how you got into the very details of why you chose some features over others. I´ve gone through the process of picking my first SAK during the last days and i pretty much did the same thing.
Since i never had a multi tool or SAK so far, i really had to go through my everyday life, just finding those situations where i had to rummage through piles of useless tools just to get that thing i needed. And since i´m no outdoors guy and the main thing i would use a SAK for is fixing little things around tha apartement or my little sons toys, it just came down to the:
Deluxe Tinker!
+Christian Lang (MasterTRL) - Deluxe Tinker is a great choice, since many people won't need a saw or file. Boker actually has a model of the Tech-Tool that is similar to the Deluxe Tinker, I'm going to try it out.
Great video and great comparisons. For my money, it's The Huntsman all day every day. Keep up the awesome content!
Locking blade is a must! Good call.
When I saw your table full of SAK'S I thought I'd died and gone to heaven!!!!. .but the great thing with SAK'S Is really their is no wrong answer. their are so many variations in them you can find one to meet most any persons needs and tastes and size /comfort range.
My top five ..the camper/huntsman/super tinker /climber/ tinker and yes I'm a victorinox fan boy...
van hill Me too, and the old Wengers, I like them both!
Thanks for this. There aren't many videos out there comparing this many SAK models.
You have excellent taste and brains for picking out the right tools here and for the right reasons, I impressed and I don't impress easily with this stuff. Most channels are so full of themselves they can't just review the knives and leave it at that. Also, you make me feel a lot better about myself collecting knives and gadgets because I'm so addicted to these kind of tools, if I was married, I'm sure I would be very unhappy or getting a divorce so I could live my life the way I want to. Again, I can't say enough about how right on you are with your choices in tools and how much my tastes in these things are so close to your taste presented here.
Great job, long enough for all the details for someone thinking about what to buy, but not so long people lose interest, you stayed on track the whole way, very rare. You should do a lot more of these videos. Good luck.
Thanks, bro, this is an older video, so I'm glad you still like it! Sometimes I learn a lot more like years after a video LOL.
Hey! I own that mini silver victorinox knife!
I keep it on me everywhere I go! One of the best purchases I’ve ever made in my life, I end up finding a use for evey day. You have no idea how useful it is to carry a knife with you everywhere you go until you start doing it.
I have an Outrider, and IT IS GREAT!
great work alljuggleknives your a champ
All great choices. I have most of these knives and use them. I would only change the outdoor category choice to either the Trekker or the Locksmith, both 111 mm.
ive been carrying a minichamp for years. its my favorite knife in the world and you'd be surprised of the many uses for that cuticle pusher.
Thank you so much that deserves a subscribe and I like that you actually replied to one of your fans unlike some other people 👍🏼😄
You stepped your game again brother! This channel is balls to the wall!
PowerMadHeadBanger Thanks, my bro!
Great review.
I'll stick with my tinker, but I'm going to get that huntsman for some extra tools.
Sweet Video Dude & Awesome Collection. Keep up the great work. Nick.
That's a whole table full of awesome buddy. Great choices! A couple here I wasn't very familiar with and that I need to check out further so that was cool...
EveryDay Knife Guy - Giveaway ON NOW! Glad you like it!
Amazing Review , it was a reference to buy 3 knifes , thanks from SAK lovers from Brazil!
WOW you have LOADS of these! You can't go wrong woth these, I always liked them since my father gave me one when I was about 8 :D
Very nice collection and presentation
thank you
Thumbs up for the Ranger as EDC! It's definitely a great SAK.
I’ve carried the lock blade hunter forever but for my b’day I’m getting a Ranger Grip 78. Very excited.
Love your pocket EDC choice. I carry a Recruit with me every single day of my life and I use at least one of those tools every day. I'll have to upgrade to the S111 since it adds two more very useful tools, the awl and the Phillips, without adding any bulk. I'm so glad to see someone else with a more or less barebones EDC, I was starting to think I was the only one.
Thanks, bro, you are not alone!
Very well reasoned choices
Great video very informative, I am currently researching an old SAK and I wondered if you could recommend a site that may be of help to me.
Cool video! I just own one Victorinox, the little Rambler (like your favourite keychain knive, minus light and pen), and it is very useful!
Very nice choices.
Thanks!
Huntsman is sick. I bought a pile and philips from swisscard to wallet. Now i have everything :P
Great video. Thank you!
Awesome video. The small tinker is slightly smaller than the s111 with the same tools, but the blade doesn't lock.
nice collection you got there. would like to see the entire collection video
Awesome video, question for you...
What is the smallest Swiss Army Knife that has an awl? Or smallest one that has an awl and tweezers? Thanks
Difficult choice , maybe if you ask me in a month i answer different :-)
But for now...
keychain - Sign Lite
pocket - Alox Pioneer
pouch & kit - The Champ
outdoors - Soldier
I've just bought an Alox Harvester. Has the pruning blade on it which is great for gardening.
that's one of my favorites
For hiking and EDC, I prefer the classic and the camper. I have lots of SAKs, but I keep going back to these two. The camper can be either on my belt or in my pocket. The Trekker with saw is great for hiking and bushcraft, but just too big for a pocket. Great video and analysis.
I chose the Hunter for exactly the same reasons. A few extra tools on there would be nice (like the scissors), but i couldn't justify the extra bulkiness. The Hunter is really well balanced when it comes to size vs. functionality.
Nice review and I admire your collection. I love SAKs. My father gave me my first in the 70's when he came back from Bern. But ykw?, my fave is the little classic. It is a gem. It's the perfect coin pocket knife. If you need something more like a tool, Leatherman. Period.
Nice collection of SAK's. Well thought out and explained 5 picks. I only have a few SAK's in my knife collection but you have certainly have given me the bug to buy more. Great channel by the way.
DC Rickerson Thanks! I used to be really into Swiss Army Knives as a kid/teen, then I got away from them, but in the last few years, RUclips has got me back into them, too!
WeAllJuggleKnives I would say I am similar. I go through times when I carry one religiously then lose or misplace and then stop for a few years and then start up again.
The Small Tinker is shorter than the standard Tinker and is a good small knife although I carry a Spartan myself. No locking blades are allowed for UK knives unless you have a "reasonable excuse."
Good video.
I carry the midnight minichamp on my keychain. The clamshell package opener is just brilliant.
I can see in that S111 how Victorinox has incorporated some of the Wenger tools/features into their own stuff. That little clip point blade is the same as the one on an older Wenger I have, as well as that locking mechanism.
Another sort of in-between knife: the Executive. Larger than the Classic, smaller than the Cadet. Lost my Classic quite a while ago, but haven't rushed out to replace it because I still have an Executive; not too big, not too small.
I agree with most of your comments but one. For outdoors i would choose the ranger as well. having a file is a must for me. You may need to use it either on your main blade or your axe, or any other metal you have with you. best..
The Trekker is my favorite, I like the serration and the philips screwdriver, the corkscrew thing is a dead weight(you can use the reamer to notch and push)
Great video. But you forgot one. My favorite knife by far. I've had the soldiers knife in my pocket for about 8years now and I love it.
Very good serious overview! But it lacks one very interesting category, so let me ask
I want to get a swiss knife with fast and easy one-handed blade opening mechanism and a secure lock. Can you suggest any of this type? I assume it would be 13cm model, but still hope to find something like 9.5 maybe.=
Fun story : i was at a river exploring and I saw one on the ground covered in dirt and it was unusable but I spent hours cleaning it with water and dish soup and now it's the best knife I have ever used
Agreed, although I'm a Leatherman man. Great reviews, here. Ty.
I received a Hunter as a gift, I never considered to have one but it grew on me. Sad thing is I live in Europe so carrying it is out of the question for me. But if there's a Without Rule of Law (including the law regarding knife carry) situation this will be ready to use lol.
Otherwise for pouch and outdoor use I also have a Huntsman (the Ranger minus the file) which I'm extremely happy with.
For pocket carry I prefer the 2-layer Compact (fits perfectly in the 5th pocket) with its scissors, pen etc.
For the keychain I used to recommend the Manager which I still have (it's like the Midnite Manager but instead of the useless LED it has space for tweezers or toothpick) but it's recently been discontinued which baffles me. So I have to agree on the Midnite Manager being the best choice in the range. In some areas it even beats the 91 mm Compact: its pen is more comfortable to use and the nailfile is larger as well.
I work in an office environment and the I often use the cuticle pusher as a staple remover, a more substantial flat head, or light prying tasks (works great on stubborn pistachios). The package opener while redundant (just use the freaking knife) does save you from a bit of wear and tear on your blade. As for the extra blade, should you break your main blade its nice to have a backup to extend the life of the tool. For me personally I love the regular minichamp (I prefer the tweezers over the light because I like to have a light apart from my tools in case I need the tools and light at the same time.)
Best knives in the world. Nothing can beat these knifes especially at this price point
which sak should I get? Im looking for a outdoors/camping knife i need a knife that 1. is easy to open 2. a blade good for cutting rope ( actual big knife must be plain edge for easy sharpening) 3. a saw 4. and a locking blade (size does not matter for me). and the normal cap and can opener. thx
I have a Swiss Champ for everything. It's a jack of all trades, my pocket isn't complaining and I can't afford to have one for every day of the week.
I am currently using as URBAN EDC a Classic SD Alox in my keychain and a Pioneer X in my pocket.
The only thing I am missing is the corckscrew...
If I want to carry the corkscrew, then I use a Climber Plus Scales instead of the Pioneer X
Greetings from Guatemala!
I find the plies of the workchamp very useful while camping and backpacking. I use it to remove metal cups and lids from the fire. The mini pliers make it possible to leave my letterman at home because that's really all I use the pliers for while camping anyway.
I tried a few SAKs, but I settled on the Cadet as the primary EDC knife in my pocket. I still have a Signature Lite on my keychain, though, and a SwissCard in my wallet. There are also a Farmer and a Trailmaster in my messenger back and a backpack.
Nice vid. Just to note, my favorite Swiss EDC knife is something VERY similar...it's a Wenger Evo. It has Everything the S1 11 has except the phillips screw driver...the Evo has a wine cork screw...which I actually like. I pair this with a Leatherman Micra for EDC pocket knife(s).
loved your video. craftsman is my favorite, has it since I was nine,
Thanks, the Craftsman is awesome!
Good choices all based on your personal criteria, and great discussion to give some food for thought.
Mine are similar, but not identical, with one including a discontinued model:
1. Rambler on keyring: I want the toothpick and tweezers, plus it's a bit narrower than the midnight manager. The toothpick is nearly a necessity with me due to radiation induced xerostomia and having to get stuff out of my teeth that the saliva I used to have would have washed out. Used to carry a Classic, but the bottle opener with Phillips is a most welcome addition.
2. Evo S16 pocket carry: I'll go for the additional width to get the scissors, which I use frequently. Don't always have a pocket carry, but this is the "go-to" for that.
3. Evo 23 or Woodsman belt pouch: It's a tossup between the two depending on situation. The Woodsman is a little bigger in a Zermatt, and it's a 5-layer discontinued combo of the current Huntsman and Explorer with wood saw, magnifier and Phillips (IMHO Victorinox should never have discontinued it). The EVO 23 is almost the same minus the Phillips which can be worked around using its other stuff, but it's smaller. If the larger Woodsman is OK in Zermatt on the belt I'll use it, otherwise the smaller profile Evo 23 in a more compact Wenger pouch gets the nod. I don't use a file that size hardly at all so it's not missed, but having both the saw and at least the magnifier are important to me. Your video did not include any discontinued which is OK.
4. Workchamp for kit/toolbox/workbench: I agree for all the same reasons. Only thing it doesn't have is a wrench (and pliers are a poor substitute)
5. Outdoors in the boonies: GAK version of one-hand Trekker; partially serrated main blade is fine. Don't need the gutting blade and likelihood of using a corkscrew is near nil, but want the Phillips and the separate bottle opener and can opener. Some similar thinking about the saw and other stuff. If I needed a corkscrew I'd fashion a stick into a dowel and drive the cork into the bottle (the Old Soldier's field expedient corkscrew).
Thanks for doing the video as it took me through thinking about what I would use and why.
Ps My complements on your choice of the Delmont. I've been seeing those but couldn't tell if they were a good investment.
I'm sure somebody has already mentioned this here, but that four less desired tools you pointed out in the MiniChamp were the discontinued Pharmacist's tools: a scalpel, a spatula or spoon, a packet opener, and a ruler which could help measure depth of powder or luquid in a vial.
I always feel like the locking mechanism on those SAKs would catch on your pocket. Also, (as far as I remember) if you press the mechanism it pops the blade out a little bit which might cut your hand/leg/pants.
I honestly don't understand why people say that 3 layer knives aren't comfortable in the pocket. I have no problem with 3 or even 4 layer knives in my pocket. 5 layers is pushing it but it's do-ableThe trick is to make sure it's vertical not laying on it's side. You can prop it up next to a wallet or phone to make sure it stays up and doesn't fall on it's side.
Since survivalism/preppimg became a fad you got a lot of whiney pretentious sissy boys filling up the field. I carry the XAVT swisschamp in my pocket so what the fuck ever nancyboys. Just carry whatever you like and forget the whiners, they're just all talk and never do anything with their SAK but talk about it on the internet while staying inside all day.
Grt a paracord next to it to keep it up alongside having string/cord for work. I find it mandatory in my book. I haven't noticed it being a hindrance for me but I haven't gone hiking or camping since I fit one in
Kempo Kid my jeans have enough room to carry a small book (not kidding) so even knives with 5 layers are not a problem and don't bother me. Though in the end I mainly use my leatherman over a Swiss army knife.
besites your EDC choice i 100% agree with your picks, i would pick compact in EDC, scissors are really useful in urban areas especially victorianox ones...(better than wanger)
honorable mention, for pouch knife urban edition, Mountaineer is great choice
Been watching your reviews since you Tops Fixed blade review..still good and informative..
That is a long time, thanks! :D
@@WeAllJuggleKnives brother you saved me money couldnt make up mind between prather Bowie and Laredo bowie..went with Prather beat choice ever..Thanks again man.Great unbiased reviews..
the Adventurer,I believe is the ultimate...thin,light and the Phillips makes it,by far,the best of the best!!!
I would like a work champ, they seem really nice. As for the Hunter i find that the back of the knife blade cuts into my hand when I use the saw. Other than that, great knife. For a bushcraft/hiking/camping I would still go for my Outrider though.
Hope i can find one with the most tools and not a too thick one and when I bought one I think from a dollar store it eventually wore out on me I think it was a cheap one but where could I find a good swiss army knife?
Great video, not only nice choices but nicely explained. If you are looking for new categories, a woman's purse knife could be a cool adition to look into, although I guess you may not feel equally identified with it. Anyway, cool video and a very clear and enlightening argumentation. Thank you for the time taken.
+amateuronwheels Thank you, I appreciate your appreciation :D
Hey man. Thanks for the video. What part of Connecticut are you from? Sounds like bristol.
For me cadet in my pocket and classic so on my keys. Got the larger most useful tool (in my opinion) on the cadet, with the things it’s lacking (scissors, pick and tweezers) on the sd. Plus the back up blade that takes up no room is a bonus. Would be nice to have something else instead of the back up file on the sd but. Perfect combo for me!
I have:
Leatherman style cx for keychan.
Leatherman skeletool for pocket knife.
Victorinox trailmaster for gardening.
All of them for work (I'm a schoolteacher), traveling (car or bike) and camping.
I would change trailmaster for super tinker at work, and rangergrip or workchamp for camping.
love your video, thanks.
Very nice choices!
Huntsman is awesome. The corkscrew is good for knots(and wine). For edc i love the compact. the knife is good size and the pen and scissors i use at work all the time. i carry the midnight manager is what i carry on the key-chain.
This is my favorite video on youtube!
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Huntsman - my first and favourite SAK
Cant argue. It's my EDC also. Great choice.
My favorite is the small Classic. It's with me everyday on my keychain....

i agree completely with the ranger. also the metal file has teeth on the edge and works like a metal saw. i also carry a very small vise grip as a key fob. since the pliers are seperate the knife is usable in conjuction with the pliers instead of an either or.
The small curved blade on the Hunter would be amazing for opening boxes !
I couldn't agree more with the selection of the manager. I found out about it when looking up Victorinox tools with pens. I think it's intended as an upscale version of the signature but it turns out to be a great alternative to the minichamp. It weighs less, costs less, and you probably don't want most of the tools it lacks anyway.
Totally agree on your conclusive on the Midnite Mini Champ vs Midnite Manager. I'm just happy I found that unknown model myself. But to be honest I just can't decide if I prefer a led and a pen over tweezers and toothpick. Or actually, it's only the tweezers I use. Would it be possible to modify the scales so that a short pen could fit in stead of toothpick?
I think scales can be switched from different models, my ideal would be the pen on one side and the tweezers on the other, and then add a squeeze light to the keyring.
Is there a version of the ranger with a Phillips instead of the cork screw cause I would love that
