Yup, he indeed wanted it in the trash lol I let my 2 yr old watch this while I change her diaper and change her clothes etc. I know every detail of this little movie lol
O k thank you. Because I was gonna ask if there was an alternate version of the show because the one that I saw the magician threw the hat away and then the rabbit ran towards the kids when he couldn't see and that's how they got the hat.
In the kid's defense, the magic man actually threw the hat away. He tried to throw in the trash, but the gust of wind made it go out the door outside. And that's where the kids found it and put it on him, and the rest is history
I feel like frosty’s soul is in the hat because they make new snowmen but it still frosty and he still has his memories, maybe making a snowman is a way for the soul to be transferred and be more bigger and humanoid but it’s still mainly a hat so if something happens to the snowman body it gets sucked back in the hat, my theory is supported by the legends of frosty the snowman because on how the hat moved on it’s own and everyone saw the hat but no snowman body but they still new it was frosty time
Did no one remember the parts where he both commits murder and attempted child endangerment? While Karen was in the blistering cold and snowy forest, with only a log fire keeping her warm. That’s when the magician came out of nowhere and blew out the fire, attempting to leave her to die in the cold. He also killed Frosty, and before you say “he’s a snowman so it doesn’t count as murder”, he’s still a living and breathing creature, and it is still murder if you kill a dog or a cat or any other living creature. A plot hole I just found out is that when the magician lost his hat, why couldn’t he just go get another one? It could be because it’s the only hat that’s magic, but they should’ve explained it. Plus, if he made the hat, couldn’t he just make another one? Or if he bought it off some sort of magic store, shouldn’t there be more hats on shelves for him to buy? One more question, why didn’t he just give up being a magician altogether. When the narrator introduced him, he called him the worst magician in the world, and it’s proven by his terrible tricks. All this evidence still makes me think he’s a cold-hearted villain.
Frosty ain't a breathing creature. He is a snowman that's alive. He don't have lungs meaning he can't breath and it isn't murder if you kill frosty because one of the definitions of murder is "the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another." Is frosty a human? No. It doesn't count. Also killing animals is wrong? Yes, but tell that to: butchers, fishermen, chefs, hunters etc
Actually, he do it away and then with the kids were looking for her they got the hat they brought Frosty to life go watch the movie before you make predictions
he didn’t lose it funnily enough he threw it in the bin but the rabbit which was inside the hat jumped around so it would go on frosty so the magician tried to take it back (before that he neglected the rabbit)
I love this Christmas special one scene that I loved was the part where the rabbit Hocus Pocus tells Karen to look out the window through body language. Outside the station sits a small red "single" locomotive or a 2-2-2 with one refrigerated boxcar with a cosy little caboose at the end. This locomotive is way beyond the label vintage steam locomotive and is worthy of the name grandpuff since 2-2-2 locomotives were made in 1834 making the red locomotive pulling the consists which shares the same color 190 years old just 10 years shy of 200. But the thing that they might have missed is a conductor's whistle when Hocus Pocus blows a loud whistle with two of his fingers it would have added that nice little extra touch to the scene as the train begins to depart.
Wanna know something else? In one of the spinnofs, you can see in like a comic version of the original, that one of the kids that was marching with frosty was his kid. That was the reason he was chasing after him, and trying to save the children. Frosty is a demon, and tell me if you wanna hear the full iceberg
To be honest if the kids gave the magician his hat back, he could've did something magical and bring frosty the snowman back to life and possibly make him survive if possible. But it would make the movie very short like ten minutes. XD
Taking off the hat of frosty would have been a murderer, i see why they didn't let him (plus most people would have used it for some "questionable stuff" to say the least. Good thing it fell on a snowman😰)
he threw the hat away, he didn't want it until AFTER it brought frosty to life which is after he literally throws it away. either way he's essentially taking a sentient life when he takes away the hat from frosty.
Without the hat, Frosty wouldn't live dumbbell. The argument that he wants money for the hat shows his greed. Taking away the hat is like shooting someone for some money.
Bro what this guy is talking about bro this guy can't be talking and the guy still wants it and he throw it better he was mad and he is not a bad guy bro he played for it bro like nah

He has a point but then proved him self wrong at the end when he said the snowman will melt at the end of the day. Cause if he dose melt at the end of the day (he won’t but just saying) he can collect his hat and use it for other reasons. And also I’ve heard in the movie he throws that hat away.

Oh yeah, just let the snowman die prematurely, and like you said, he could have just waited, but no! Why not ruin the children’s childhood for a couple bucks 😅
In the movie, he literally throws his hat in the trashcan, and then the rabbit popped out of the hat, and started running around. Here’s the part where he throws a hat in this timestamp 1:57
But nobody’s talking about the fact that he followed them all the way to the North Pole and he STALKED them JUST so he could get his hat back. he also LOCKED the girl AND frosty in a room so the girl had to watch frosty melt in front of her own eyes. The magician is much more cruel than we remember.
I was actually tell the magician that he doesn't deserve it because all it does is just give him greed and value instead of something he needs. Way I see it, it's better that Frosty the Snowman is with kids to make their day. But I do feel a little bad for him.
Actually he didn't loose it. He threw it into the trash believing it to have no magic. Hence it was no longer his. It was wrong to take it back because it was somebody's life force, but he cared more about getting the hat back after discovering it actually did have a magic than the life of another being or his morals. He let this desire cloud his judgment. I'd also like to think Santa actually did get him a new magic hat after he finished that lengthy apology letter.
Its a snowman dude its not that deep, he could use that hat to bring people back to life to make food for people, anything but it is wasted on a pile of snow, coal, sticks, and carrots
They mean before the wind when they are inside the magician throws the hat away; then the rabbit takes it and it blows it out of the rabbits hand Btw don’t argue its the rabbit’s because when the magician takes it back the rabbit returns it to frosty
He threw the hat in the trash in the movie, so the kids said that he threw it in the trash so it wasn't his anymore. I think that the kids had a valid point.
He threw the hat away. He literally threw it towards the trash can and missed. He then left the room. At that point it was no longer his. The kids took it and put it on Frosty. Now it's no longer the magician's hat.
