I have no pity for women who keep repeatedly asked for help but then went back to their exs. They know something is wrong but stayed on thinking things may get better as they actually get worse. After growing up in this situation and having to be the one that ends the danger at home, a kid, and still she wanted to be back with him, I lose respect for women who let their kids stay in danger.

As a victim of abuse by the words and hands of an alcoholic, I couldn't get very far into this video. It's sad because there are so many people out there who refuse to get help for their drinking problem, and that refusal causes their loved ones to suffer. It's like second hand smoke except the person abusing the substance (alcohol) in this case, is always off worse than the addict.
Edit: I haven't read all of the replies to my comment, but I realized a problem with what I said. I meant that the alcohol itself only hurts the alcoholic, whereas the cigarette smoke hurts both. But that's not at all to diminish the deaths that have occurred at the hands of an alcoholic.

I was in a toxic relationship and it was hard to leave it because he threatened to hurt me and was making me feel like I needed him despite the abuse. I was able to break it off but my ex is still causing a lot of drama in my life since he can no longer control me. Your statement on easier said then done is correct. You become more understanding towards other people’s toxic relationships once you’re in one yourself.
I hear you and Iam sorry for what you went through. Iam not an expert nor do I know what this feels like. Iam just a spectator watching this video. I don’t mean to speak from ignorance. turq99 it’s alright, it’s not your fault. I’ve done that where I’ve isolated myself from the world because of mental health related issues. We do not intend on hurting anyone. In fact, I often feel as if I am dragging my friends down with me when I put my issues out there. I understand your concern for you friend and if it helps she most likely is getting some help and decided that using her phone wouldn’t be the best way to help her get better and it ended up making her life a lot easier or maybe if she checked herself into a mental hospital and the hospital doesn’t allow phones. You’re not ignorant and Im sure your friend would appreciate your caring and kind attitude towards people. I wish you and your friend well.

I know a similar story but without involving kids. One of my friend's had a best friend where they both fell in love with the same guy. He liked my friend so he dated her and her best friend allowed it even though she also liked him. But then my friend found out he was a jerk that was never satisfied and was very bad to her. Even when she got pregnant and had to get an abort he wasn't there for her because they had broken up and apparently he was dating her best friend who also lied to her about it and hid it for some time. She found out but forgave her best friend but thing is this best friend didn't care and wouldn't forgive her (she probably wanted to avoid her so she could spend all her time with the guy). This girl was seriously obsessed with this guy because he started to treat her so bad that he would hit her and make her do weird and bad things. Heck he even borrowed money from her that she never got back and she had taken loans. She escaped from him though when he hit her with a bottle and moved back to her parent's place. Thing is just after some months me and my friend have seen pictures of them being together again. It's crazy how dependent and/or desperate some girls can get with this men even if they are violent and bad. Btw this guy also had a drinking problem

It sounds like the girl’s best friend developed a case of Stockholm syndrome. It’s sadly the case for many people who are in a domestic violence relationship, and the only way to get out of it is to seek help from family, friends, and lots, and I mean LOTS of medical help.
If only people start caring about infants more. They are such a blessing because they are innocent. Now we have people who want to wait full term to get rid of such a gift as if they're a disease.
