Having a child will not save a relationship. I repeat, having a child will not save a relationship. Unless both people are actively participating in marriage therapy and strengthening the relationship... creating a life will not “save” a marriage. If you have to save your marriage then having a child should be the last thing on your list.

I learned to not be around people who get divorced easily. Theres a debate from psychologist about nature vs nurture. I believe its both. I used to be around people who were toxic and I became toxic. My bf same thing. We both got out of toxic friendships and had new friends who weren't toxic and we're happier. My ex had a lot of friends who ever divorced. Nothing is wrong with being a divorcee. Idk how to explain it but being around people who are similar in a bad way isnt good because it can become a bad influence. Love isnt the feelings. Love is about the commitment and even when you hate each other somehow you can still love each other. Once that feeling was gone he was gone. That's the mistake a lot of people make. Love isnt about the feeling. That's why people dont last.

What a loser to leave your pregnant wife. She was going through alot with carrying your child and it was tough on her. She needed you to be there for her during her most vulnerable stage of her life and to try to understand what she is mentally, emotionally, and physically is going through would've been a good idea. or putting on a fake pregnant belly suits for 9 months and see how that makes you feel or go through labor stimulation. Just to have a little feel of what she had to go through to make your child. Instead, he saw her as a nagging wife when he came home from work and wanted to drink out more to avoid her. He blamed her as the problem that couldn't be fixed to make it conveniently for him to end the marriage. He doesn't deserve her or they're baby.
This is why I'm going to be SERIOUSLY careful about who I date. I don't want to end up like my mother...

My parents broke up a week before I was born they were both in college and a baby was too much stress on them, my mother was pregnant after 7 months of knowing my dad you have to understand no matter how much you know that person you have to give it sometime, even a 1 year isn’t enough and please don’t marry young. Best rules to live by is, dont get children until you been together for 7+yrs ( same with marrage).. Knowing somebody take years and not everything show itself early...it can take years!
My parents are divorced too. They separated in 2006, when I was 8, and the divorce was finalized at some point around 2011, when I would've been 13.
Sometimes I feel as though my life would be better if my parents were still married, if their marriage hadn't broken down the way it did.
I used to felt that at first but once explaination was explained, I understood. So lets supposed your parents are divorced and one of them confessed the reason why they are divorced, then you will understand it.
My mom once told me the reason of divorce. She told me if she stayed in that marriage, then her husband will end up having to bring a pregnant mistress home.

I have the best family. Husband and daughter, perfect! However, the postpartum depression also hit me and it was the worst like I can't picturing myself to through that again. I spent 2 months crying like a crazy out of nowhere. So yes, it is important to have this knowledge for mom, dad or other members of the family how to handle postpartum depression because when it hit you, it will paralyze your brain.
