My opinion on tranzit: Cool idea, bus, bus rides, and shooting zombies on buses. Bad ideas, denizens, awful fog, actual map size being quite small (in my opinion), just spread out. Same amount of butter over a larger piece of stale bread. tech limitations, and an unenjoyable easter egg/ PaP, and lava cracks that your characters don't know how to step over. Edit: Almost forgot, non-soloable easter egg because "reasons".

Seems like the microphone holder has probably reached its limit, I think you should consider getting a new one. One of my recommendations would be the Rode PSA1 as I still have the original and it still lasted till this day. Including basic maintenance such as not to stress the springs whenever not in use. As additional improvement, you could try getting a second hand professional microphone used for music or production as they last very long without any audio quality issues.
