I'll keep updating and editing this comment to try and explain some of the more exotic or otherwise less popular weapons on this list. Applogies ahead of time for excessive yap. (3:48) It's based off of an AR18 (Armalite's attempt to make a cheaper assault rifle made of stamped sheet metal instead of cast aluminum like the AR15.), probably a specific version manufactured in a different country but I can't remember off the top of my head. (3:50) This gun's (L85) twin brother (L86 LSW) was in the original MW3 as an LMG with a drum mag, hence the similarities. (3:52) This is a CETME L, basically before the H&K G3 and its derivatives (like the MP5), there was the Spanish CETME project. From what I understand this Model L is a 5.56 adaptation of the normally 7.62 CETME Battle Rifle. (3:56) From what I can understand, this was an Australian prototype of a bullpup FAL (quick crash course, a bullpup is a firearm with the magazine and action located behind the trigger, think the RAM 7 from MW2&3.) (4:17) This is an SR3M, an evolution of the AS VAL with removable suppressor and fold-out vertical grip. Knowing CoD, that latter feature won't be included. (4:20) This isn't actually the PP19 Bizon, but looks very similar. I'm not getting much info of the PP90M1 other than the charging handle is above the barrel and that it's a returning weapon from classic MW3. (4:27) The Jackal is based off of the Russian Gepard, a PDW that could be chambered in various 9mm cartridges including .380 ACP, 9x18 Makarov, 9x19 Parabellum/Luger, and 9x21 Gyurza. The firearm was presented to Moscow in 1997, making the presence of this gun anachronistic. This thing was also a menace in the beta and I hope it's been nerfed since then. (4:29) Contrary to what Jev says here, I don't think it is the Kiparis. This appears to be a 9mm conversion of the SWAT 5.56 (SG 550). Not sure if it ever existed, but still a neat concept if it didn't. (4:49) -this is a PKM, a Russian medium machine gun. Notable "CoD-ified differences include an AK-style handguard at the front and a solid club-foot stock instead of the more recognizable stock seen with modern MW3's Pulemyot 7.62 (and in MW2 as an option for the Kastov rifles.)- I stand corrected, it's based off of a Russian LMG prototype called the PU-21, chambered in 5.45x39 (same ammo as the AK 74). It could either take a belt or a 45 round RPK 74 mag. Sorry for the prior incorrect information, what little information I found on this weapon can be found on the Wikipedia page for the "IP-2". (4:50) From what I can tell, the XMG is based off a prototype belt-fed modification of an AR10 (the 7.62 Battle Rifle father of the AR15 and M16 rifles.) (4:54) The SVU was a bullpup variant of the iconic Dragunov SVD, and some models even have a full-auto setting. Doubt Treyarch would add that, but just something to note. Fun fact, this gun also featured (and I think debuted) in Black Ops 2. (5:01) Interestingly enough, the AEK 971 was designed as an AR, and was among the first to include a "counterbalance recoil system" which shoved a weight forward above the gas block as the bolt went back to counter the recoil. This concept would evolve into the AK107, 108 and 109 rifles which the JAK Reclaimer kit in MW3 is based off of. (5:23, 5:57) The LR 7.62 seems to be a mix of the PGM Ultima Ratio with some wood furniture instead of polymer. This is anachronistic because the Ultima Ratio wasn't produced until 2000, but then again Black Ops 1 had guns from the 80s and 90s while it was set in the 60s, so I'll just chalk this up to CoD wanting to add a cool rifle and move on. (6:05) This is based off the APS Stechkin, a Machine Pistol chambered in either 9x18 or 9x19 for tank crews, aircraft personnel, and mortar and artillery crews. Its wood stock could double as a holster to store the weapon, a concept taken from some WW1 sidearms. (6:09) The CIGMA is based off the FIM-92 Stinger MANPADS, but stylized a little bit. (6:12) This is based off of the Panzerfaust 3, a modern disposable Anti-Tank RPG. Unlike most disposable launchers where the entire thing was thrown away, the Panzerfaust 3 retains the trigger group and scope, with the entire tube and rocket being replaced. The rocket's warhead in-game looks to be the anti-vehicle Shaped Charge warhead (meant to shoot a molten core of copper through the armor to penetrate it), but I assume CoD is gonna treat this like your typical video game rocket launcher and give it a pretty decent blast radius.
im totally fine going back to 5-7 AR 5-7 Sub 3 lmg 3 shotgun 3-5 snipers etc. Now we just need to get back to less attachments. dont need 10 different red dots and 10 different grips/barrels that do the same thing but just ordered differently.

A lot of people in the comments here don’t mind the low weapon count but I’d argue the reason I stuck with MW22 and MW3 for so long is because of the weapon variety. With 33 weapons I’ll probably be done with the games challenges within 3 months. It’s not an awful change, but I prefer more over less just for the sake of longevity and replay value
As a person who has been playing zombies since WaW the liberty falls gameplay looked disappointing and boring. Like compare liberty falls against any bo3 map and there is a stark difference in atmosphere. I understand you only started playing zombies when Cold War came around but the reason people are complaining isnt from a place of hate. It’s just been a long time since we have had a good zombies experience and we want to see this game succeed.
Isn’t that why they changed it?? Obviously bo3 is going to have way cooler looking maps because they went all over the globe and universe with that game. This map’s location is “random city in US in the 1990s”, of course it’s gonna look lame compared to “city in Russia after a battle went down so there barbed wire everywhere and guts and blood everywhere because dragons idk also there was a giant portal in the sky for absolutely no reason other than to get there and stuff fell out of it.” Plus the early gameplay was exactly that, early gameplay. Not finished. There were obviously no easter eggs. Imagine DE with only the pack a punch quest where you hit three pads, now the only really good part of the map is the atmosphere which was cool because they went to a random abandoned castle facility in Austria on top of a mountain. Obviously if you can go anywhere in the world the setting will be cooler, terminus looks really good for example.
Liberty falls just looked like a multiplayer map with some zombies. It very much needed an atmospheric boost. How can zombies players be excited for a multiplayer style map and gameplay after having incredible OG Treyarch zombies maps & gameplay for so long.
Honestly I hate when there is an insane amount, I’m a super casual player, I don’t care about camos so I don’t play with even half of the guns available
Honestly completely fine with the amount, but the thing that bothers me is I was planning on grinding my sniping game since I really loved the beta and have high hopes for the game, and wanted to improve as much as I can, however the only two bolts in the game being pretty similar in appearance kind of sucks tbh.
Just realized this but I’m pretty Treyarch updated the headshot value for the XM4 because during the beta you could only reduce the number of shots to kill by 1 if you hit every shot in the head. It’s literally impossible to hit four shots to the head unless the enemy is an idiot, and even if you used the CHF barrel you still weren’t dealing enough damage to significantly change the TTK so more often than not you were still eliminating the enemy in 5 shots. The new value allows you to hit 2 to the head and two to the body to alter the TTK. That’s far more forgiving and that’s without the CHF barrel. I don’t think it’ll even be a useful attachment because I can’t the imagine the damage increase being more than 2-3 points. So even if headshot damage was increased to 30-31, it would still be 2 to the head and 2 to the chest as every other combination would result in the standard 5 shot kill.

Less guns has to be better, especially for a treyarch game. You bloat the pool and balancing becomes impossible. Id rather have 10 guns i can use between different game modes and maps than 40 primaries and i only use maybe 3.

Happy Birthday Jev, I've been a fan of your videos for like 10 years now! Keep up the great work with your videos, and staying true to your brand like you have been. Much love man
But that’s quite literally what we have in MWIII. Nearly every gun in the killfeed is different. Sure there’s meta guns but there’s literally dozens of other guns that are just as viable and so people use a wide variety
The one gripe I will always have with recent CoDs, why is the AK not a Level 1-4 unlock? It is quite literally one of the most common weapons in THE WORLD. Like how is a gun that can be found pretty easily in any war somehow locked behind multiple levels. Like huh?
@@ArteriusSaren You think any CoD really cares if they call it an AK-47 versus an AKM-47? Most of the weapons in CoD usually take most details from the weapons but changes things to allow them in the game without getting copyrighted because gun companies can do that. Hell, even the media doesn't know the difference between the AK-47, the AKM-47, the AK-74, or a goddamn SKS.
@@LimeZMusic To make sense. If CoD4 MW could do it, I'm sure every CoD could follow suit. If it is a common gun in the world, it shouldn't be locked level 10 onwards. The Glock was an instant unlock in MWIII and the M4 platform of weapons seem to always be the starting AR, these are common weapons for the US, but so why is the weapon that is the most common platform in the world locked?
@@exostudios8563 The rarity of a weapon in real life should have no bearing on the level you unlock it at. If it does, yes, it somewhat makes sense, but it’s not a necessity.
Less weapons is better. Less attachments is better. Quality over quantity. The current WZ situation is a hot mess. So much so I quit completely for the past 6 months sitting here waiting for BO6.
Yeah and it makes sense, I mean they have new guns that have never been in any other cods and movement that had to bested most likely around a thousand times
The same people who only use the same 3-4 weapons in every CoD game until the next CoD game releases are complaining that BO6 will only have 33 weapons????😭
It makes sense tbh to have less gun in the game as the weapons max level is a longer grind on bo6 so if we had loads of guns it would feel long, and I’m sure more guns will come in time, but if it’s anything like previous cods then only 2 guns will work at meta level anyway
tbf although liberty falls is meant to be sunny and that etc, it should still look zombie like as in the story there was a dimensional breach right underneath the town as there was a base under the town, therefore yes it should defo have a zombie feel
truth be told id rather have less weapons and attachments. It makes things less overwhelming
Fewer weapons were all are viable is the sweet spot

Last stand in mw2 2022 was the worst knocking people down only for a teammate to finish them and then you didn’t get the kill or the XP
Less guns has to be better, especially for a treyarch game. You bloat the pool and balancing becomes impossible. Id rather have 10 guns i can use between different game modes and maps than 40 primaries and i only use maybe 3.
The way you tell stories is unmatched!
Happy bday Jev! Love you and have been watching you ever since nyc faze house days ❤️
I've been waiting, another upload from you!
Happy late birthday Jev! I've been a big fan for many many years now and I am so glad you have continued to stay true to yourself and post content. Here's to another year of being alive!
If you complete the camo challenges really quick then what do you do for the rest of the year?
Play the game normally using the mastery camo you grinded for or just play another game
Grind the battle pass 😉
Enjoy the game and have fun?
Enjoy the game
Happy Birthday Jev, I've been a fan of your videos for like 10 years now! Keep up the great work with your videos, and staying true to your brand like you have been. Much love man
Happy birthday Jev. You make me laugh and wish u the best
Black Ops as a series started with one weapon attachment.
If you wanted more than one you sacrificed a perk slot to do so. Bring that back
Bluds never satisfied 💀💀💀
Welcome to the cod community
@@rezalmao looooool
Remember, with the classic prestige, having more guns means you lose more when you prestige.
Cod players act like if cod added 100 guns they would even use them everyone uses the same meta games
The "fans" hate if they add old stuff and they hate if they add new stuff
Facts, less weapons is better
But that’s quite literally what we have in MWIII. Nearly every gun in the killfeed is different. Sure there’s meta guns but there’s literally dozens of other guns that are just as viable and so people use a wide variety
@@MSCbay1 everyone use the same gun in mw3
Didn't know it was your birthday. Hope you had a good time. Happy birthday.
The one gripe I will always have with recent CoDs, why is the AK not a Level 1-4 unlock?
It is quite literally one of the most common weapons in THE WORLD. Like how is a gun that can be found pretty easily in any war somehow locked behind multiple levels. Like huh?
Well, to be fair, it’s the AK74, not the AK47, so it’s less common. Either way, why should it matter what level it unlocks at anyways?
@@LimeZMusiclol what AK-47 is rarest compare to AKM or AK74. It's a common misconceptions.
If it does, yes, it somewhat makes sense, but it’s not a necessity.
aye i aint know it was your bday, glad you had a good one pimp. love all that you do
Less weapons is better. Less attachments is better. Quality over quantity. The current WZ situation is a hot mess. So much so I quit completely for the past 6 months sitting here waiting for BO6.
it's refreshing to see some of the original guns from back in the day, I'll enjoy using them in zombies.
4 YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT THEY SAID🤣
Yeah and it makes sense, I mean they have new guns that have never been in any other cods and movement that had to bested most likely around a thousand times
@@Qrazy785nah
They probably make it like 30+ guns now and we getting more guns per season than usual. and its better to make it like this imo
@@markvs64_ did they already confirm they are putting out more? Because if they haven't, expect them to release same amount as normal.
you people are pathetically stupid. keep whining while they got your $70💀
The same people who only use the same 3-4 weapons in every CoD game until the next CoD game releases are complaining that BO6 will only have 33 weapons????😭
Happy belated Jev you’re the best, been watching you for years 🎉🙌🏿
Happy later bday jev love the uploads man
Happy birthday jev mine is tmrw and ur one of my favorite creators i hope you have a great one man
they saw people didn’t say anything about XDefiant’s weapon count at launch so they held back more guns for post launch
Happy late birthday Jev 🎉
mine is on the 23rd so hopin to have a pretty chill day too.
Jev saying sigma is gonna go into my clip folder
Jev being happy about no riot shield makes me happy
Started watching jev cause of sparkling zero videos love your vibe awesome content thank you ❤
Happy belated jev🥳🥳🥳👏👏👏
Happy birthday my dude hope you had a blast as always 🎉❤
they 100 percent have 80 or more weapons already fully designed but are keeping them for battle passes
33 weapons is perfect
The sparking zero lobby music in the background sure is music to my ears.
The Sparking Zero BGM playing threw me tf off broooooo lol
your take on liberty falls just made me realize why i thought the new screenshots made me way less hyped for liberty falls LMFAO
Happy birthday bro, love the content🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Happy bday jev much lov been watchin since I was 13 im 19 now
Happy birthday Jev but I need a quiet place series please🙏🙏🙏
We all love and miss advanced warfare
Happy birthday jev, thank you for making so many of my days so much berree 🎉❤
It makes sense tbh to have less gun in the game as the weapons max level is a longer grind on bo6 so if we had loads of guns it would feel long, and I’m sure more guns will come in time, but if it’s anything like previous cods then only 2 guns will work at meta level anyway
the AEK being a burst DMR instead of a full auto AR makes me a bit sad, wish it was like the BF4 AEK which was a high recoil monster
Shit I didn't know about your birthday man, late congrats. We love you Jason!
Happy belated birthday Jev🎉🎉
Happy bday my brother we love u man
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY JEV
Jev using the Sparking Zero shop menu music is pretty fitting, its very chill
I think this last stand is like the "Rejack" specialist in BO3, wasn't a huge problem then and won't be here too.
Happy Belated Birthday Jev🎉🎊
Happy Belated Birthday Jev!!! 🎊
Didn’t know we were birthday twins , happy late birthday jev
tbf although liberty falls is meant to be sunny and that etc, it should still look zombie like as in the story there was a dimensional breach right underneath the town as there was a base under the town, therefore yes it should defo have a zombie feel
Happy Birthday Jev 🎁🎉🥳🎊🎂
We share the same birthday?? Happy birthday brother. May the next 365 days around the sun treat you well. Love you Jev
