All your videos are so good! I got my Breville Barista Express a year ago, and went through all these learnings 😅 wish I had found this video earlier because it definitely would’ve sped up the learning process! Appreciate the time stamps as well.
You should be including the pre-infusion, as that is when the water hits the puck. So you are calculating the total time of the extraction. In the case of the Barista Express, the timing is preset, but if you have some other machines with a bit more manual control, you will be able to play around with the exact pre-infusion duration. Hope this answer helps!
really is a good video the question will be for that price can get a better coffe machine ? for example simonelli musica i thing is a plush have coffe grinder and tamper but for that price use and how much time of life have the product i thing need to take a comparation of the two products becouse of covid and dolar are changed and do ir more cheap
In the last couple of years the price of this machine actually went up. When I got it at $520 there really isnt much options in this price range that have a PID built in, of course the look is a factor as well. As for longevity, I have had this machine for 4+ years, it's been going strong. Not too familiar with the simonelli musica, but it's a much pricier machine based on my understanding.
