    Great explanation of when I can use each of the three options and what I need in order to use them. Knowing if I can even do luma or alpha keying with my Pro7 Win10 machine sending to OBS via NDI was what I was wondering. Chroma key has been working OK, but I was wondering what I might be missing. Now at least I know I can't do the other two on my setup, so will work to leverage chroma keying as best as I can.

    Can you use 2 gpu outputs for a key/fill setup into a switcher? Do you have to use a decklink card? Is it a synchronization issue between the two outputs?

      Even better, Key and Fill can NOW be done over 2 HDMI outputs from ProPreseenter. Check out my other video here, ruclips.net/video/wJ142-xI5qc/видео.html

    This is cool but how can I use transparency inside propresenter? I want to mix video inputs and use overlay transitions

    • @CrazyAmazingDesigns
      @CrazyAmazingDesigns  Год назад +1

      Layers are automatically transparent inside of Pro7 when interacting with other layers. That’s how you add lower third lyrics over live video in Pro7. When you output layers that’s when this video becomes relevant. -Nathan

      Say is there a way to create a new video wipe using a black&white video like some editors do?

    Can I input a live 4K 60p signal into ProPresenter 7 of someone on a green screen, then use this software to remove the green screen and output the live "keyed" video with an alpha channel over NDI? I see your examples with images but I need a solution for inputting live video feeds and removing green screen for output via NDI with an alpha channel. I also haven't seen any video demos showing tools for making adjustments to a key, like spill suppression, foreground controls, etc. This would also be very helpful if this will allow me to output both the Key and fill as separate streams via the Blackmagic Decklink 8K Pro. Will this software do all of what I'm asking? Thanks in advance for your reply.

      I have thoughts about the answer to this, but I don’t have the necessary equipment to test it. Do you have the DeckLink 8K Pro? If so I would download ProPresenter 7 which has a free trial and test it.

    I have an NDI to hdmi converter. It was like $450. Can I maintain an alpha key signal from ProPresenter 7 Macbook Pro all they way to the video switcher (ATEM Mini Pro)?

      @CrazyAmazingDesigns  Год назад

      I actually have no clue, but my guess is No.

    • @CrazyAmazingDesigns
      @CrazyAmazingDesigns  Год назад

      Here is a more complete answer. I can confirm No. basically Alpha can’t transmit over HDMI. Doesn’t matter how NDI is involved if HDMI is involved as an output the answer is no.

    Hey buddy, I’m trying to have visuals on one computer that is connected to our main projector with no lyrics… and also another computer for just lyrics sending that to the main projector to key over the visuals and also to our stage projector at the back. Just wondering how I could do that?

      I hope you found a solution, YT didn't show me this comment. You can connect multiple displays to one computer, and then use Looks in Pro7 to decide what content goes to what screen. -Nathan

    I'm still getting a green screen with my ATEM mini pro and I don't know how to get rid of it.

      @CrazyAmazingDesigns  3 года назад

      Hi Scott, You will need to setup a Chroma Key with your ATEM Mini. This will key out the Green. I'm planning to make a Video about this, but haven't done it yet.

    Struggling with trying to get scripture to the screen using our chroma key. Do you have a step by step video to create words to a screen with out a solid box?

    Thanks for the info! Question - If I use Chroma key with green images am I going to have issues?

    • @CrazyAmazingDesigns
      @CrazyAmazingDesigns  2 года назад

      I’m glad this has been helpful. Yes, if the content contains the same green as the key, you will have issues. It’s called a Green Screen, but you can use any color, so if your church logo goes on all the content and it’s green ha ha, you could make the choice to switch your key color to something else.

    Found just what i was looking for... but i have a question. What am i losing if i use Chroma Key vs Alpha? Are there things i cannot do with a Chroma Key? I am using a BMD ATEM Television Studio Pro 4K.

      Hey AJ2, Glad the video helped you. Yes, connect the MacBook to the ATEM via HDMI. Apply a green background to the slide, and once the switcher has keyed out the Green, the switcher will show the animation over live video.

      @@21ferebee If you are using NDI to send the content from Pro7 to OBS then you don’t need the green key. You can enable alpha Key on the NDI output to OBS. If you output HDMI from your computer to the ATEM, then you need to send a green bg that can be keyed out with the ATEM. Check out this new video of mine for that process. m.ruclips.net/video/TVI6xY4EE0w/видео.html
