Performance wise? He needs to finish however many years he decides to play in MLS and then we'll see what stats he racks up and how Inter Miami performs overall while he is there. But yeah... Have this guys watched Messi in past seasons in Spanish league? Do they know about his 91 goals in a calendar year in Europe?
Why should you doubt that if he was able to do all that in Europe?
The only good points that he provides is his level of commitment when playing for Argentina and the tight schedule that he might get during the season. Another surprising thing is talking about Suarez's quality. Have you ever heard about The M(Messi)S(Suarez) N( Neymar) era? If you are familiar with those names, then it would be logical to predict what the outcome would be.
I predict that he is going to keep a record that would take a long time before someone breaks it.

Great point about Messi's playing on artificial turf. An indicator of his being the ultimate professional who thinks about the crowd that paid high price to see him, even if those are for the other teams, and not just his personal onfield accomplishment.
As for his play on artificial turf, seems like his game did not suffer or was not compromised. A sign of his raw pure talent when it comes to having a great feel for the ball.

Hard agree that's there's no comparison, it's insulting to compare CR7 as good a legend as he is with Messi! There was never any player as good as Messi so far but hopefully another will come in our lifetime.

    Some facts of Messi
    1. Lionel Messi doesn't chase the ball; the ball finds its way to his feet as if guided by the football gods.
    2. Messi doesn’t score goals. He simply alters the scoreboard as a matter of cosmic inevitability.
    3. Offside rules are rewritten whenever Messi decides to be in an offside position, just to accommodate his presence on the pitch.
    4. Messi doesn't practice free kicks. Instead, the goal post shifts to where his football soul feels like placing the ball.
    5. When Messi dribbles, it’s not that defenders can't catch him; they're just caught in a temporal loop of his creation, reliving the moment he passed them by.
    6. The laws of physics apply to all players except Messi. For him, the laws politely step aside and watch the game.
    7. Messi is the only player who has ever been accused of being the referee’s favorite by the referee himself.
