Nice job, clean as always.... regards from Poland..... You repair newer models more and more often, which of the older and newer ones are the best/least prone to failures in your opinion. (Let's divide it into two groups - diesel and petrol, and the 90s, 00s, 10s, 20s ;) ) Of course, a separate video in which you talk about it would be useful.
Unfortunately you cannot do that! because me as a specialist always I will see only the cars with problems! The oneness that are running without any problems, I can't see them! I won't see them and I won't know how many are there on the roads! with that in mind is hard to say! and also you can't compare the old generations with the new ones! different technology different everything . And you can find a 20 years old bummer with 200k and a 7 years with 200k you got what I mean ?
The new ones are easier to be repaired, at least for me! The new ones have more advanced sensors that help in the diagnosis! the new ones are not so rusted :) but there are pros and cons on the repair side between new and old
@@MOvidiu You're right, more sensors, theoretically easier diagnosis, but do durability and reliability go hand in hand with that? Times change, the materials used too, especially rubber, now there's less and less real good rubber. Eco-Recycle. ;) regards.
I know this is unrelated to this video, but i hope i will find some help here. (been watching Your videos for a while now and also posted this comment on video from 4 years ago) So, i recently sent my headlights for repairs (everything was working fine they were just in terrible shape). The insides have been completely refurbished along with the wiring. When they came back and i reconnected them, the green dot started flashing and there was no movement from the headlights. After scanning the car with ISTA it showed AHL module as 0 faults and green. I can trigger them manually, but only up and down. On any other direction i'm getting "ERROR_ECU_GENERAL_REJECT". On the table AHL is working fine in every direction, so i doubt it's the headlights fault. Tried to search it but found nothing of relevance. Any advice what to do? I would gladly take it to special technician like You, but unfortunately here in Poland the probability of finding a specialist is close to zero. And i'm speaking from experience. Car is E60.
Hi, I understand if you don’t have the time to respond to something like this but I have a problem on my BMW F10 523i 2010 n53b30 engine Sometimes the car starts blowing cold air instead of the temperature that is set even when the engine is fully warmed up For example It’s set at 24C and starts blowing 20C air or even colder When I rise the temperature to 28 it sometimes takes a minute and then starts heating again When I scan the car the heating and air conditioning module has a 8011FF PATT irreversible module errors code Any idea what that means ? Google has no clue

@@MOvidiu I understand, but could you use the example of repairs to indicate which generations were easy to repair and which were very complicated.

How did you install that modern dashboard on such an ancient model?

Hello! unfortunately I have no ideea what can be the problem! for that you will need to do a proper diagnosis ( not only reading error codes)
@@MOvidiu Thanks for the answer! I will try my best then !

You don't repair your car on Google! The first thing is a complete diagnosis! Not reading codes and searching on Google!
