I thought the production crew would be about five or six people. I had no idea it takes a village to film and produce an HGTV show. I wouldn’t be able to qualify for an HGTV series for two main reasons; I don’t have nearly enough rooms to house all the crew members and more to the point I’m only somewhat proficient at using a hammer, screwdriver and pliers. So thanks for all your hard work saving the manor and saving me from what would probably have been an uneventful afternoon. Another video triumph and great to have you back in action.

Hope you enjoyed your time off! I’m happy you’re back, my Tuesdays felt empty 😂. I’ve seen other people speak briefly about their time with HGTV, but I loved this long format video. I always figured there was some choreography for scenes to create a good final product. It’s great that you guys stayed as natural as possible and didn’t make it one of those over dramatic shows. Also happy to hear it was an overall positive experience. There are many HGTV horror stories out there.

You didn't discuss it (and it's not really our business) but I hope the money you got for doing the show eased some of the financial burden that must be involved in all the wonderful work you're doing to revive your estate. Glad to hear you enjoyed your tv experience! Ironically, to my ear every time you said 'HGTV', it sounded as if you were saying 'Hate GTV'. When we pronounce 'H', it sounds like ''AA-ch'. 😀. Anyway, I enjoyed the show when it was on but it felt overproduced at times. I like you RUclips series better. You've kept the production values up but strengthened the connection to your audience. It's obvious you learned a lot through the experience. Unfortunately, you got limited exposure here because from what I remember, only your first episode aired on HGTV or Magnolia as a teaser. To watch the other episodes required a subscription to MAX. Anyway, best of luck! The way you've shot your RUclips series, it could easily be picked up by HGTV for a second season.

Since Dean previously said he was an introvert and dislikes people, I am wondering how he did the first few weeks having so many strangers (at that time) around.
