- Our lives have been flipped upside down in the best way possible! We thought we would have plenty of time in America to get everything sorted before our baby arrived - but the little guy had other plans. Right as we were stepping off the plane - Danteo made his grand entrance into the world two weeks early! And just like that; we became dads and set off on a thousand-mile whirlwind adventure that would test our patience and parenting skills.
From embracing the joy and fears of parenthood to the chaos of driving to Los Angeles and back in less than 24 hours - prepare for a wild ride!

Parenthood is the hardest job ever. No owner’s manual! Each baby different! So much stuff! When I was watching the last scene about forgetting the food I burst out laughing, remembering how humbling being a parent is. Best job in the world. ❤️❤️❤️ God Bless you both.

Don’t worry, a friend of my mother’s left her baby outside a shop and went home. Luckily the shop assistant discovered the baby and brought him in side the shop. This was in the days before mobile phones. Imagine the friends fright when she realised her mistake!😊😊😊

My little boy just turned 50!! I can’t believe it. He is the most wonderful gift of God to me and has turned out to be a loving, caring and very generous man. He has been the joy of my life through ups and downs. You will experience the same as you both love him to bits and that is important, though discipline and love go hand in hand it is sometimes difficult. Congratulations Dads!!! I see that things has been a bit chaotic, but you did just fine. Imagine, you drove from Phoenix to LA with a newborn child. And traffic in LA is as bad as in the movies because it’s real. Then you flew across the Atlantic from the West Coast to England, with a newborn child. And through all the chaos and drama, you made it home, everyone in one piece. You two are going to be the best dads in England, Spain, and everywhere else you go. What a lucky child. What perfect parents.

L.A. traffic is a nightmare. I’ve lived in the Los Angeles area for 53 years and I’ve learned that you just don’t drive on certain freeways at certain times. Congrats on your son! He’s SO CUUUTTEE!!!

I enjoyed this so much. We lived in the US for 12 years and then another 11 years. I felt quite homesick. I can't begin to imagine how you jumped all the hurdles but Congratulations!! Your son is adorable.

One of the things I love when traveling in Europe is visiting a pharmacy if I'm physically ill or injured (minor). The pharmacists really take care of you. Here in U.S. -nope. They are not allowed nor desire to take the time for that. That's why many pharmacies have Urgent Care offices within the same building. You're doing so well at jumping through all the logistic hoops for the passports. Sending you all the best wishes possible to you and your new family.

First what a sweet calm baby. Congratulations on the most important event in your life. Super interesting to watch your adventure because I grew up in Calif and live in Arizona now. Yes the heat is brutal. Everything used to shut down in the summer now we just hibernate under the air conditioning. I go to California frequently but I always avoid driving in LA. They are crazy drivers there and you are always stuck in traffic forever. Dennys In and Out and Target. Such American experiences. I look forward to watching your next adventures. ❤

Where we live, Tennessee, we have veterans, moms, and disabled parking. Dennys is a no-go. IHOP or Perkins. And in n out is great. The salt is the best. You guys are doing awesome as new dads. 🎉❤

Ok gentlemen, you need a railing on those stairs your adorable baby boy will be crawling before you know it and the stairs are now extremely dangerous. They move so fast you wouldn't believe it. My son was walking at 9 months..... scary thought I know. 💙💙
