Thank you for this video, had my jeep for a year now and didn't know they were drain holes. I wouldn't even mess with them as I wasn't sure what they were.
Thanks for this, I spilled a whole huge soda on the passenger side the other day and it has been driving me nuts not knowing how to clean it. i hope i remember where all the carpet goes one its time to put it back.
Do you have rubber plugs on the side behind the front seats? I just bought a 2012 and they are missing. I can order floor drain plugs, but cannot seem to find a place to get the oblong ones on the sides.
There isn't rubber plugs that come with the jeep for those holes. If i remember right the carpet covers them. I used JB weld and some sheet metal I cut to cover the holes. Then I bedlined over the metal covers I cut.

It doesn't bother me. I have noticed when I have the hard top on in winter that I get a slight whine from the rear diff. Its pretty faint, and I always have the radio on so I don't notice it. Likely if I kept the unsightly heat/sound reducing goop in back there it would cover it up? If I had to do it again I would only have removed the back and kept the front goop in (and bedlined over it). It can get a bit hot on really hot summer days on long drives. The ridges in the floor board make it annoying to drive without a mat or floor liner (with tool box liner underneath so they don't float around). Its the best mod I have done, and highly recommend it with Line-x, Raptor, or monstaliner. All of which clean up easily. Steer clear of herculiner.
So far I’ve gotten the rear sound deadening from underneath the rear back seat I’m working on the front did you use a chisel to get the front off I used a chisel and a heat gun I have the same jeep 2dr
Check out the raptor liner link in the description. I used a heat gun and putty knife. It takes a good while. There is a video on RUclips where a guy uses dry ice. Way faster, maybe not as clean? After most of it was out I used a wire sander on my drill.
Thanks for this video. It looks like 10 total plugs. Nice!
Thank you for the quick video! I got caught in a downpour last night with my top down and need to get rid of the water :)

Thats what i did too. It took awhile.
How do you remove the "heat type goop" that is normally stuck to the floor?

How did you apply your raptor liner did you roll it or spray it
I sprayed it. It didn't take long to spray, but took like 3 days to prep.
Thanks! This answered my question.
Thank you!
Yeah thanks they didn’t say anything about twisting to get the jack out
Thanks
Thank you! Couldn't for the life of me figure out how to take the jack out. smh
same here. Thanks! The Mopar video just glosses over the point.
