Hearing Mel Gibson get chocked up about his friend Richard Donner who directed him in Lethal Weapon since 1986 was heartbreaking......he really is the perfect guy to direct Lethal Weapon 5 he knows his character Riggs inside out and well his track record as a Director is pretty amazing..........

Well you have to remember. Mel Gibson was considered a good actor on the come up in 1986. When Lethal Weapon came out in '87 that movie put him and to a slightly lesser extent Danny Glover into the stratosphere.

@@Garrysullivanjones the first two Mad Max movies definitely got Hollywood buzzing about Mel Gibson and he did some cool things like Gallipoli and the Bounty, but my point I was making is that it was the movie Lethal Weapon that sit him to that next level where he was in the A-list Stratosphere of Hollywood. He basically had about a 20-year run from the mid-80s to the mid-2000s of being the f****** man. The Passion of the Christ put him on a level that no other Hollywood person has achieved in my view and then he followed it up with Apocalypto which is a great film in its own right but then there was the infamous DUI arrest in 2006 that he has not recovered from and most likely never will.

I am so very excited to see lethal weapon 5 for the first, and last time since the late Richard donner was suppose to direct the last movie before his retirement, but he passed away before he could finish the last production, and retire so very devastated to hear about the legendary director who started it all between the lethal films, maverick, and the conspiracy theory. Richard donner will always be remembered as the man behind the lethal films, maverick, and the conspiracy theory when he, and Mel Gibson continued doing more movies together. And now that the last movie is coming with Mel Gibson back as martin Riggs, he is also going to direct the last movie to honor Richard Donner's legacy, his career, and the production he was in the middle of doing before his passing. So Riggs good luck with the production of the last movie make it better with the last lethal films Richard donner did, and make him more proud as ever to see you direct the last movie to honor his life, his work, everything he has ever done for a very long time. For the late Richard donner.

I would rather have watched a white hair, half speed Gibson fighting it out in Fury Road than Tom Hardy playing a low IQ wooden dummy and dominating girl power Theron showing him up constantly.

If Scorsese had to call Pesci 50 times to do The Irishman he’s probably not coming out of retirement again for L5. As long as you have Mel and Danny that’s all that matters though it would be nice to have the whole band back together.

The greatest Man in history, had no servants, and yet they called Him Master. He had no degree, and yet they called Him Teacher. He had no medicine, and yet He was called the Healer. He had no armies, and yet kings feared him. He won no military battles, and yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, and yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a grave, and He is alive today. And His name is Jesus Christ in Greek, and in Hebrew Messiah Masía (Messiah)

    ........................................................................................................................................
SAY THE MIRACLE Repentance PRAYER daily and it will change your life! Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you now and humbly ask for your forgiveness. LORD, I confess that I'm a sinner and I've broken your Holy Law. I realize that the penalty for sin is death. I believe that JESUS CHRIST suffered and died on the Cross to take the punishment for ALL of my sins. I believe JESUS rose from the dead and I accept Him as my personal Savior. From this moment forward I give you my heart and trust you to be the LORD of my life. Please forgive ALL of my sins and send your Spirit to help me do your will. I Love You, Lord Jesus. I Praise You, Jesus. I Thank You, Jesus. I shall follow you every day of my life.
I thank you for your great love and accept your gift of eternal life, and I pray these things in JESUS name, Amen . Say this prayer faithfully, no matter what you feel, when you come to the point where you sincerely mean each word, with all your heart, something good spiritually will happen to you. You will experience Jesus, and HE will change your whole life in a very special way. You will see. A single saint fights back, and a thousand demons cry in agony. And you are that saint.
Jesus Will Never Leave Nor Forsake You
''Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass.” Ps 37:3-5
Jesus Christ came into this world to reach those who feel that nobody cares. The Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in Him. The Lord Jesus Christ does care and He is reaching the lonely and the desperate, the confused and the hurt, the depressed and the disillusioned. Jesus Christ is reaching out to you.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Rom 5:8
As we turn away from our sin and turn to Christ we find forgiveness and freedom.
Jesus Christ is a Friend to the friendless.
He is a Helper to the helpless.
He gives freedom to the addicts.
    He loves the unloved.
    He accepts the outcasts.
    He changes the unchangeable.
    He forgives the unforgivable.
    He accomplishes the impossible.
    He saves sinners.
    He seeks the lost.
He gives direction to the aimless.
He gives hope to the disillusioned.
He gives Truth to the confused.
He gives joy to the depressed.
He gives purpose to the purposeless.
He gives hope to the hopeless.
    He redeems and He renews.
    He touches and transforms.
    He answers prayer.
He works miracles before our eyes.
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; all things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Cor 5:17
God gives the very best to those who leave the choice to Him.
Have you surrendered your life to Christ? Pray to God and give Him all the bad things in your life: your hurts, disappointments, fears, failures and sins. Give them to Him and leave them with Him. Let Jesus Christ heal you inside and forgive you and cleanse you. He will change you and turn your sorrows into joys and your fears into peace of heart and mind. Submit to Him and He will give you a new direction in life.
“Repent and…be baptised in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38
Jesus Christ gives us a new start in life and a new life to start. You not only need to surrender all your sins and failures to Him,

They should have Murtaugh and Riggs help their Grand Daughter Lauren Butters/Murtaugh (maybe have her and Rianne take back the maiden's name) (and have Zendaya play the daughter) and son (dunno which young actor) with a criminal case, and have Lee Butters gone through maybe a rough time, hence the divorce.
The point being, finish the franchise for Gibson and Glover, but also reboot it if there is ever a Lethal Weapon 6.
