    Very nice. I’m still amazed, no matter what the wood, how finely its cut, even how well it is sanded, the wood comes to life when the finish is applied. Well done!

      @@JackMackWoodturning I don’t know. I have so much wood stacked up waiting for me. But you never know. The feeling to turn a Jenga vase or bowl could strike at any time.

    Jack when I seen those giant clamps at the beginning I actually thought they were Acro Props and I couldn’t figure out if you were gonna turn something or put an extension on workshop..😆

    I died when you toppled the tower. made me remember the days I loved Jenga.

    When you are an artist you can create beauty out of anything. I once knew about a guy from Chile who made jewelry from guano. Nice woodworking technique.

    I went from 9 pin bowling club to giant pepper grinder until I saw the finished item , from a distance it looks like glazed saltware pottery too , just smashing Jack , really like yer stuff , can’t afford it 😆 but I like it . Well done son 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    I’ve always wanted a Giant Jenga. It’s my favorite game, Jenga. Would love a Giant version. Like on The Big Bang Theory but bigger..

    Your creativity and skill as a woodturner is soulful. I luv this piece for its sense of balance and beauty. It could well be the center and focal point in which a room could radiate around in form ans decorative design. Thx 4 sharing ur wood crafting.

      @@JackMackWoodturning I'd like to try, but don't have a lathe. I've bought the plans for the woodgears diy wooden lathe, so will build that when I'm finished building my Moravian workbench. I'm building up my workshop bit by bit as I find the time!

    Outstanding work! Question: The video is edited and sped up for time purposes; approximately how long did the turning take?
    The prep work was a lot of watching the glue dry; while not discounting it, I don't want to include it in the total work time...!

    I would love to see you take the shavings from all the various projects, put them in a big bucket, fill it out with resin and turn the result.

      I may be mistaken but I think Jenga only comes in one species of wood. Would look nice though. What would you use?

    Have you thought about an instructional video teaching push , pull & scraper cuts with a (very) sharp grind ?
    Your chisel control is excellent .
    That came out very well for softwood 👍

      I don’t make educational videos Peter. Too much time involved with editing and voice overs. I run a very busy woodturning business and only just squeeze these videos into my limited free time.
      Plenty instructional videos out there, but if you really want to learn it’s often best to pay for lessons from a professional turner. Anyone can put up a RUclips video and a great deal of turners I see on here definitely shouldn’t be teaching 😉
      Ps.. the Jenga set is made from Ash. 👍🏻

      I ran a copy lathe for years , the hand turning lads regularly did 1 on 1
      Lessons which is definitely the way to learn properly.
