When playing the A in the pre-chorus, alternate between the A and an open E string, palm muted :)

what did you use to record the audio in this?

I plug into my Fender Champion 40w Amp which I connect to my laptop through a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface. All is then recorded on Garage Band :)
