I also couldn't make it through "Go Rest High on That Mountain" onm own which I sang for her recently departed grandfather. Pretty much the best day and night of my life. That was fifteen years ago. Sadly, Amanda divorced me last year. Sometimes I just check in to see if I can still sing it without crying. Not quite there yet.

And of course, Frank Whaley's acting AND musical chops showcased here were already established in "The Doors"; he was also great in "JFK" (both Oliver Stone). A staggeringly perfect song and record also.
