I agree. I find him so much funnier now than when he did the Lee and Herring Show. That show was often funny, but so often it felt forced or just went way too far explaining it's own jokes. His bit about Graham Norton winning a BAFTA and then the interview with Chris Morris afterwards is one of the funniest bits of stand up I have ever seen.

Its genuine, I dont often say that. But lee has formed an act of a disgruntled liberal comic quite different to his actual persona. He forms an whole routine sometimes that no one finds funny until the twist at the end; its like pressure building up in a bottle when you realise at once why he went thru the entire routine like in this video.
