    Tommy had skills! He actually fought like a short fighter. He was 6'2" I think. He fought on the inside and he threw short quick compact punches. He had one of the best lefthooks! It was fast and hard!

      You can't really go on knockout percentage alone. Muhammad Ali probably didn't have a KO percentage any higher than that and yet he was able to beat some really hard, brutal punchers like Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, Cleveland Williams, George Foreman by out boxing them and beating them with speed so it can be done. Brown just didn't have the skill to out box Morrison and he certainly couldn't out slug him. The best that he could hope for is to utilize his height/reach advantage to keep Morrison at bay and hopefully (catch up with a good punch or combination (which Morrison was prone to) or out point him for a decision. Neither of those happened. Morrison did what he had to do which was go after him and crowd him to neutralize that height advantage.

He might have survived. Jab and hold. Ali did a lot of that. Bonecrusher Smith did 1000x more holding with Tyson.

    Morrison he had great.left hook.but not great finisher like tyson.but definitely he is natural heavyweight

    • @1981lashlarue
      @1981lashlarue 5 лет назад +2

      Morrison wasn't a bad finisher. He wasn't as good a finisher as Tyson though. Morrison's problems were his weak chin and poor defense.

      48-3. 42 by knockout. Terrible finisher. Just terrible.

      You guys are crazy comparing Tyson to Morrison. Stop doing that. They are two different individuals with their own style, both are good so let's drop that.

      Hilarious. He's apparently not a very smart math teacher, apparently. It's called "assumption of risk," big guy, and it defeats liability.

    Tommy was a decent fighter who fell short every time he stepped up. Started relying on steroids around the time of the Mercer fight
