I personally have a gen 5 19 with stock internals, radian barrel and comp, tlr-7, and holosun scs.
I carry it, use it in competitions and in training. Not the coolest gat but it gets it done and have yet to have an issue after multiple thousands of rounds.
I bought an sig x macro thinking I’d like it more. I love the grip and the trigger is a little better, but I still shoot my glock and use it for everything. I’ve shot a lot of other handguns too but I have yet to find something that’s a significant upgrade that justifies the cost.
I have a similar G19 with radian comp and barrel and an SRO but I also have the Glock performance trigger. That gun is fast.
Oh and I also got the x macro thinking id prefer it for concealed carry but I got like 8 failures to eject in the first thousand rounds while my Glock chugged through the exact same batch of ammo without any issues. Hard to do better than the Glock. It just works and it works every time.
@@armorers_wrench I’ve barely got maybe 100+ rounds through mine so far. Just haven’t bothered shooting it honestly lol.
Simplicity makes the Glock platform so nice. If you're a high round count shooter, being able to gunsmith your own pistol and be self sufficient becomes invaluable. Parts are cheap and widely available along with mags. Yeah, there are better features pistols for the same price point but try to change a broken extractor, firing pin, worn locking block or trigger shoe and get back with me.
I have replaced my trigger shoe in my p10F and the locking block is two pins. But I get what you mean my Walter is more complicated. I believe if you are going to upgrade your Glock you may as well build your own with zev, nomad, Sct, Leander, Norsso, Lone wolf or any host of other as you will save yourself 400- 500 on the initial buying of the Glock platform plus making 1500 - 2300 bucks in changes depending on various ways to build it. The only thing you might need OEM from Glock is a slide and lower parts kit.
I started with m&p 9 back in 2015, then traded that for a G19.4 then bought P229 and P226 Legions, then 2019 sold and traded both Legions for 19X and my first AR15 then bought G45 and G43x. Then settled for Glocks since 2020 never bought any hand guns. Just put all my money for my ARs. Then hustle keep building better accessories for both my Glocks and ARs. Also only 556 and 9mm. Be simple, make life simple.
It’s a tool and a good one at that. I use my tools so they aren’t pretty. Got no use for toys or safe queens.
Glock will always be on top…who copies who? 😮💨😏
My Man! Real Talk Glock Talk let’s go! I totally agree about Glocks. I love them and for an overall pistol you will never tell me it isn’t the best. I own a bunch of different pistols from different manufacturers and I shoot my Glocks the most by a long shot. Congrats on the new work with Energetic Armament. That’s pretty cool. Def looking forward to seeing more about their suppressors.
If you shoot enough you’ll start to appreciate Glock more due to cheaper mags, parts and holsters available. I try to put 10k rounds through my glocks per year and it would be significantly more expensive to do that with an sig or M&P just due to mags alone. However I do think the m&p is the best Tupperware striker fired gun out of the box
I went from a Taurus to HK, FN, CZ, Sig, and now Staccato. No Glocks, maybe one day.
I’m with you man. I’ve tried to fall in love with all of the cool new polymer options that have came out in the last few years but I always end up carrying my G45. We really are in the golden age of high quality 9mm striker fired pistols though. There are so many good options out there but I personally love the Glock grip angle.
Don't feel bad bro, my first pistol was a Bersa Thunder .380, TURBO OOF
I've owned tons of high end `1911's and 2011's. I always comeback to my G17.
Your brownells code is why I watch
As someone that worked on the glock platform for years and worked on other polymer frams I can say yes the glock runs and is reliable to can extent. I've had glocks fail on me quite a bit so they are not perfect per say and no handgun is perfect. Do I recommend people buy glock. Never. I recommend to people to go learn on a friend's glock. Once you can properly shoot a glock then look to another company for an upgrade. Glocks meet the minimum for to high a market price in comparison to other pistols that do the same thing but with more features. Every time I shoot a glock I'm reminded of just how blessed I am to have a long list of better pistols for the same price. Shoot glock don't buy glock.
“Just as good…😏” lol
Real talk. Yeah yo.
John Wick 2 he went with the Glock 34 combat master
Can't wait to see how you like the Kak 11.5” barrel. And how it does with the faster twist rate
I agree with your intro! No joke
rewatching it as I couldnt really lock in to the first watch, I admire glocks so much, but, the browning tilting barrel design was taken from a non glock, which glock perfected, along with triggers(because they have ALWAYS been safe) and the only thing I have wanted to change is the slide, and thats why I went to the cz p10. but either way, such an amazing product
Maybe it’s time to update your wardrobe from hipster to “Glock” too. lol
I like how Glocks are the best, but replace every part on it
Congratulations on your partnership with Energetic Armament! Could you do a more in depth review of the Ferox and a video on the Vox K2 please? Love the videos and your right……. Christ is King!!
Thank you brother. I can absolutely do those reviews, give me some time but I’ll get them done for you. God bless🙏🏽
POI shift with and without supressor test on EA youtube channel.
You're the 21st century version of the 1911 fudd.
How old are you? And what’s your go to handgun? Just curious, no beef.
You are entitled to your incorrect opinion.
20 years ago Glock supremacy may have been a thing, but today they're just an overpriced handgun that's okay at everything with below average ergonomics.
Ha, my first handgun was a FDE two tone M&P 45 1.0 lol it sucked
For the algorithm. Good take.
Im new to the Glock world and just picked up an old 17 and love it, I was wanting to upgrade my conceal carry to a 19mos, is there a different model you'd suggest?
Congrats on the EA job!
Thank you brother 🙏🏽
Algorithm comment from a glock guy here
Hk p30 in John wick 1
I think I’m gonna put an apex trigger in mine, but I’m kinda scared since my piece is going to be pointed at my piece
Yes
Real talk offends people 😂
Consider this, what if SW, Walther, Glock, HK, Canik, Baretta and so forth all had the same date as a starting point, who’d be on top today?
But would it be their current same platform?
@@chaoticcaninejb it could be, yeah, sure. Why not.
Beretta
Everyone credits Glock for the current striker fired gun but nobody remembers Gaston was inspired by HK’s VP7
Also, Glock reliability is overrated. They malfunction about as much as any other proven manufacturer
@@oceaser6977 facts!
Subscribed to energetic armament
U shoot open minor in USPSA?
They put a G19 slide on a G17 frame, both pistols that have been out for over 30 years, and you clowns lost your minds 😂
Still the same outdated and ugly gun with cheap sights, a weird grip angle and bad trigger
Ig now I’ll ask my grandpa about his 1911
Glock trigger is trash, but I'll only ccw a glock.
Gen 5 triggers aren't that bad.
Glock makes an amazing 300$ gun for 600$.
Just like every other striker fired handgun. All these firearms are too expensive for what they are.
Youre paying for the best track record , amazing quality control, and reliability
@@jacobrogers8000 oh no no, Glock takes a $60 gun and sells it for $600.
@@polop3338 I would argue I could get the same from other manufacturers as well. Glock doesn’t have a monopoly on those things. We live in a time where we can get a lot of really reliable pistoles.
Real talk: Glocks suck and haven't innovated that terrible design in over 30 years. Glocks literally offer nothing in 2024. Definitely not best, they suck buddy. Your broken M&P is better
I love when people get so butt hurt
@@Hobiee90m3 ask yourself, what is actually good about a Glock? No answer, that's what I thought. 😆
I think m&p is probably the best out of the box but I shoot so much that I run glocks. Mags are way cheaper, replacement parts and customizable. If you shoot enough you stop caring that much about which brand is better. The major manufacturers all work and most shooters could use any of them to great effect
@@CiviTacagreed. Where it matters, glock is goated
@@Hobiee90m3yup me too. Glock is still the king of handguns 40 years later. I love when Glock haters cope in the comments of YT videos 😂
