    I personally have a gen 5 19 with stock internals, radian barrel and comp, tlr-7, and holosun scs.
    I carry it, use it in competitions and in training. Not the coolest gat but it gets it done and have yet to have an issue after multiple thousands of rounds.
    I bought an sig x macro thinking I’d like it more. I love the grip and the trigger is a little better, but I still shoot my glock and use it for everything. I’ve shot a lot of other handguns too but I have yet to find something that’s a significant upgrade that justifies the cost.

      I have a similar G19 with radian comp and barrel and an SRO but I also have the Glock performance trigger. That gun is fast.

    • @armorers_wrench
      @armorers_wrench 10 дней назад +4

      Oh and I also got the x macro thinking id prefer it for concealed carry but I got like 8 failures to eject in the first thousand rounds while my Glock chugged through the exact same batch of ammo without any issues. Hard to do better than the Glock. It just works and it works every time.

      @@armorers_wrench I’ve barely got maybe 100+ rounds through mine so far. Just haven’t bothered shooting it honestly lol.

    Simplicity makes the Glock platform so nice. If you're a high round count shooter, being able to gunsmith your own pistol and be self sufficient becomes invaluable. Parts are cheap and widely available along with mags. Yeah, there are better features pistols for the same price point but try to change a broken extractor, firing pin, worn locking block or trigger shoe and get back with me.

    • @andershilmo1866
      @andershilmo1866 День назад

      I have replaced my trigger shoe in my p10F and the locking block is two pins. But I get what you mean my Walter is more complicated. I believe if you are going to upgrade your Glock you may as well build your own with zev, nomad, Sct, Leander, Norsso, Lone wolf or any host of other as you will save yourself 400- 500 on the initial buying of the Glock platform plus making 1500 - 2300 bucks in changes depending on various ways to build it. The only thing you might need OEM from Glock is a slide and lower parts kit.

    I started with m&p 9 back in 2015, then traded that for a G19.4 then bought P229 and P226 Legions, then 2019 sold and traded both Legions for 19X and my first AR15 then bought G45 and G43x. Then settled for Glocks since 2020 never bought any hand guns. Just put all my money for my ARs. Then hustle keep building better accessories for both my Glocks and ARs. Also only 556 and 9mm. Be simple, make life simple.

    My Man! Real Talk Glock Talk let’s go! I totally agree about Glocks. I love them and for an overall pistol you will never tell me it isn’t the best. I own a bunch of different pistols from different manufacturers and I shoot my Glocks the most by a long shot. Congrats on the new work with Energetic Armament. That’s pretty cool. Def looking forward to seeing more about their suppressors.

  • @CiviTac
    @CiviTac 10 дней назад +3

    If you shoot enough you’ll start to appreciate Glock more due to cheaper mags, parts and holsters available. I try to put 10k rounds through my glocks per year and it would be significantly more expensive to do that with an sig or M&P just due to mags alone. However I do think the m&p is the best Tupperware striker fired gun out of the box

    I’m with you man. I’ve tried to fall in love with all of the cool new polymer options that have came out in the last few years but I always end up carrying my G45. We really are in the golden age of high quality 9mm striker fired pistols though. There are so many good options out there but I personally love the Glock grip angle.

    As someone that worked on the glock platform for years and worked on other polymer frams I can say yes the glock runs and is reliable to can extent. I've had glocks fail on me quite a bit so they are not perfect per say and no handgun is perfect. Do I recommend people buy glock. Never. I recommend to people to go learn on a friend's glock. Once you can properly shoot a glock then look to another company for an upgrade. Glocks meet the minimum for to high a market price in comparison to other pistols that do the same thing but with more features. Every time I shoot a glock I'm reminded of just how blessed I am to have a long list of better pistols for the same price. Shoot glock don't buy glock.

    rewatching it as I couldnt really lock in to the first watch, I admire glocks so much, but, the browning tilting barrel design was taken from a non glock, which glock perfected, along with triggers(because they have ALWAYS been safe) and the only thing I have wanted to change is the slide, and thats why I went to the cz p10. but either way, such an amazing product
