Double Thank you Maryann. God bless you. I'm in no rush to get a motorcycle or zip down the highway, but I always wanted to know how to ride one. But my skills are in no way comfortable for me to risk much beyond parking lot snd and local trips.
@@FatherDave pray for me. I am being evicted from my apartment. I am being railroaded if you know what that means. I am 77 years old and disabled. I don't have anyone father. I have nowhere to go and no one to stay with. All my friends and relatives have either moved away or passed away. Supposedly, the apartment manager here messed up and wasn't putting in my rent correctly and last year I was robbed, drugged and raped but I do not remember about the rape. I was told about this from other people who watched. Went into the hospital and I had nine hallucinating drugs in me one being fentanyl. The doctor there said that it was an absolute miracle that I hadn't died. After that I went through post-traumatic stress and failed to pay 2 months rent and they didn't let me know about it until about a month and are now trying to evict me. I got a lawyer from legal aid but she hasn't been much help. I want to pay back the money and I've offered to pay back the money but they won't take it.
Oh gosh father please please pray for me and have others pray for me too. I am the lady who wrote you at Christmas about me praying special prayers for the souls in purgatory being taken up to to heaven on Christmas. Love you and God bless you and yours, Romy 33

Father Dave, I really needed to watch your mass tonight.
I’ve been traveling through Europe for the last month.
This evening I’m in Salerno, Italy and attended a Saturday night mass in Italian
at the Chiesa del SS. Crocifisso and had trouble understanding the readings and the homily so
I thought watching your mass from Salerno tonight I’ll have a better idea of what the Padre was talking about.
I never miss your mass even when I travel, thanks padre.
Fr Dave - knocked it out of the ballpark for me- as an excommunicated Catholic who hasn't had the sacraments in over 20 years - you may be the one priest who has moved me to rethink and go to confession - I want to be part of the flock again- congrats on the motorcycle license- gotta get a road king:) God bless you

God has blessed you and us by giving you the words that you speak to us over many miles in every direction. Words and feelings that we glean from your homily during the mass, lift us up closer to the Triune God and make us better understand who we are, who HE is and how we CAN be hopeful in the life with Him that we are longing for. Today's mass is one of my top 5 with you and the online community of which I have been called to be a faithful follower. Thanks to you, Diane and Jess, as well as all who help to make this possible. As far as confession; The day of atonement. When Jesus died the temple curtain tore from top to bottom... Opening our personal relationship with God. 'We' are all priests that can perform exorcism. Ask anyone who has had a NDE and you will hear there is no religion in Heaven. Jesus forgives. Remember there is a difference between confession and forgiveness. Believe what you are told to believe but I have not read it specifically in the NT that it is mandatory to go one time in one year to confession. ..or for that matter Catholicism vs any other religion especially after the East West schism is the 'official' way to Jesus. Laying on of hands is real but so is the power of God through whoever He has chosen to bless with His endowment. God bless you Father Dave it's not easy being a Catholic priest in this age of internal strife in the church and shortage of priests. I am glad you have Cragley who is definitely a little blessing with a huge heart.

Great mass as usual Fr Dave. You talk about confession which I don’t do. I believe we should confess to God for what we have done. I don’t think it is a priests business what we have done. You said the way to heaven is through God. So I believe I should confess to him and him only. Apart from that I always look forward to your masses and I do go to church by me not every Sunday but I do like to receive communion once in awhile. I hope you,Diane,and Jess have a good week. Michael is not with the mother of his child anymore at her decision but they get along for their daughter 's sake .

Yes, be careful on the road. As always I enjoyed your message, I come from a Methodist/Baptist background, 8 years ago I converted to Catholicism and I have never looked back. When the time for someone to ask for repentance I can see what you were saying in the homily but I can also understand the concept of making a verbal confession of repentance as done in the protestant faith. The important part is salvation and baptism
I just wish you would teach other priest to give sermons like you do I feel in todays world we need someone who makes young people as well as myself what the gospel is trying to tell us in everyday

Father Dave, thank you for Sunday mass once again. Your Homily was a great refresher for many of us who learned the basics of our religion over 60 years ago but certainly need a refresher from time to time. You truly are a Good Shepard for many of us that attend each week. What kind of a bike do you have? Enjoy riding and of course be careful, as a rider for many years [ no longer ride ] my experience was the non riders are very dangerous around bikes, nuff said, have a blessed Sunday.
Please pray for my Aunt Gertrude who was in an accident Last Friday. Pray for cousin Donnie that the can cure his prostrate cancer. Pray for Ken that he will continue to get stronger and less pain. Pray for Joe that his knees will get better.

Is a spiritual communion the same as a physical communion when it comes to receiving communion at least once a month?
