The only underdogs to go all the way to grand finals. Goats
How about paper rex and fpx in copenhagon?
@@Browilis FPX not as much, they were the strongest team after FNC in EMEA. On the other hand, PRX were in fact underdogs, and almost won it all, but they lost to FPX. Some would argue they were underdogs at Tokyo too cuz they had low expectations (they played with a sub).
NA fans just don't think twice before commenting smth like this.
@dranzer2003 Very true. Just goes to show how good they are, even in compromised form. They were legit underdogs who went to finals though (in Copenhagen).
@dranzer2003 NAVI played terribly at Tokyo lol I was so disappointed in them. I know they're capable of more but it looks like it wasn't meant to be. They're still a solid top 3 in EMEA.
Btw what Ascension team are you rooting for? Dunno the reason so I'll assume for no reason that you're from EMEA.
My pick is APEKS. My man Enzo needs to take a trophy home. Magnum and Mistic too.
I would have to say that Acend in champions 2021 were by no means the favorites to beat Gambit who looked almost unstoppable so i guess that counts as being underdog
It honestly feels kinda unfair that a team like fnatic can exist. They literally have the top 3 player (at the very least) itw in every position
well every team falls at some point they will too individual performance doesnt last long
@@uresfffff222 i agree but when you have the best senteniel and arguably the best player in the world (alfajer), one of the best smokes in the world and the GOAT trophy wise (chronicle) one of the best flankers and clutchers in the world (leo), one of the best duelists (derke) and a gay bloke named boaster I mean its kind of unfair, the only Gambit and ascend rosters were much more fair than the current FNATIC one, and they won events also
@@novalia1534consistency and prep from them is also another key factor while other teams can have very high highs they can’t keep that up for too long FNC on the other hand runs like a well oiled machine on top of having good parts.
@@novalia1534 that's MY gay bloke igl 🗣🗣‼💯💯💯
cope nigga
though he may be called demon1, he's a fucking god
Mibr is the 6th man in EG fr
The most insane is in my eyes the gambit run, 5 random russians impressed the world
Definitely was an insane run by them!
If you thought they were random Russians then you were a casual viewer
Demon1 buff
nice summaries and highlights as always :)
0:11 this subhuman didn't even own his own words
imo, for the last map (bind) eg was gonna have some fun and js let everyone do what they wanted and no one cared. they werent having fun so they js had some fun to end off a good try for a win
look, i respect eg for sure. they're undeniable when it comes to proper skill and have developed into a top 2 team in NA (judging off the newer patches after tokyo). but lets be honest, fnatic was the best team at this tourney and maybe the best val team we'll ever see up to this point. i truly believe they rival last years optic with this lineup. considering most if not all teams have become better and better obviously over the years, i feel like people forget where fnatic was in the early stages of vct and it pains me to see them not get as much credit as they should. eg somehow gets praise even though they got 3-0'd in grand finals (just like fnatic vs sen @ iceland), granted their run was a bit more historic than probably any other team at tokyo of course but it seems that the credit they get is far more than fnatic sadly. considering they had people literally leaving after they won lock/in. maybe im wrong and not seeing the full picture but it still is a thing that i've observed on twitter, youtube, etc. and it doesn't provide the full story of tokyo. i promise i dont mean to be toxic by any means, but fnatic were the front runners and they proved that in 3-0 fashion to win 2 events in a row. either way, wonderful video and spectacular analysis as per usual platoon. wp.
I don’t think anyone is disputing that Fnatic is the best team in the world. Everyone knew that going into the tournament and everyone still knows it now. But the difference is that EG were considered one of the worst teams in the Americas so it’s a much better story. And yes EG did get 3-0’d but I honestly feel like if they had won the first match against Fnatic it would’ve been a 5 map series. Their bo3 was super super close and those map picks really made a lot of difference. Of course Fnatic are still the best, but EG, as a nobody team before the tournament, almost gave them a run for their money. Also people leaving the arena at lock in is just Brazil behavior because their team lost lol, by no means represents sentiments internationally
At this point, FNC is becoming more of a final raid boss and not heroes who reign supreme
bruh, EG went from straight ass to shitting on literally anyone that is not named PRX and FNC.
Coming from a FNC fan , FNC has been a phenomenal team throughout the whole regular season, have had a completely flawless run and won LOCK//IN prior to that, I don't think anybody is or should be downplaying that. The crowd in LOCK//IN truly didn't do FNC good while the match was going on, but it didn't exactly do wonders for LOUD. Even though they screamed and cheered for LOUD when they got kills or won a round, whenever FNC did the same thing, they remained totally silent. The pressure applied from upwards of 7,000 people cheering for you, knowing they will not be happy whatsoever if you do end up losing, is really harsh. Of course the crowd was in major favor of LOUD, it was their home team. Even though the Bo5 in the Tokyo finals ended in a 3-0 in favor of FNC, EG made an amazing run to go from some spot filler in the Americas League, to a second placing team world-wide. The Brazilian fans' behavior was by no means close to what was in Tokyo, the crowd was so much more balanced with fans who cheered for a plethora of different teams, no matter what team played and from what region, the fans cheered on, and kept the teams in the venue for at least an additional 20 minutes to get pictures and items signed. FNC are undoubtedly the best in the world right now, but I have to give massive props to EG and PRX for placing that high when no one thought they would.
@@garrettliu5696age like fine wine 😂😂 LOUD 2-0 FNC

Ok bro how does your brain think of these things literally how are you not a coach
It's canon
KRÜ going for another insane run on worlds rn
I know might have to change the name of this video real soon
guess wht they win in 2023
11:23 nah you need to mention coms shock dart
I thought you weren't allowed to boost up without ability in a tourney 6:55? Wasn't this suppose to be illegal?
Commenting to get notified if anyone knows
Right before that, platoon says that they boosted com with raze satchel.
@@qrv123 ahhh that makes sense, thanks brother!
11:20 the damage dealt to loud was not from specter spams, but from c0m's shock darts. if you look closely on the timing and his utility you can see it.
Tmv fan eh
shouldve put bcj back in vs fnatic 😔😔😔😔
IMO it’s feel like the Zeta’s Reykjavik run. Might be due to the the league and Master format’s different in expectation for me.
And for all that matters, it’s “one of the most insane run in VALORANT history” without disregard to any team. It’s great to see how team could rise and grow to where they are. Wish to see what they will offer to us in Champions. Cheers! 🎉
This was better than Zeta's run tbh
Zeta was insane by the end of Reykjavik but they still beat some nerfed teams, they beat Fnatic with 2 subs and TL who weren't even supposed to be at Reykjavik
Even if you give the same argument for EG beating a nerfed PRX,they still would've made top 3 in the world without any nerfed rosters
they won
Yes, what a game we have. Again, we don't really need comparison. A great game is a great game and this is one hell of a game and a run we have in VCT history.
I think the breakdown of mibr last round is unnecessary, that could be in another video, but we are here to watch EG not mibr
Pipe down
