    it still baffles me to this day, the fact that some people still think PRX doesn't have what it takes to compete at the very top level. everytime they win, everyone came up with some excuse, saying they were lucky. i know they looks like they are playing the games differently than everyone else, but come on. Valorant would be boring if everyone plays it the same way.

    • @AdilKhan-uq2nm

      I think it's cuz people just don't have faith in APAC teams since APAC teams have never tasted success in tactical shooters. Also, their playstyle is considered to be "risky", and any good team can absolutely poop on them, like Fnatic for example.

    • @maestroplay6563
      @maestroplay6563 10 месяцев назад +184

      Fnatic isn't just "any" good team. they are "THE" team. "any" good team from that tourney would be something like NRG, EG, Liquid, and EDG. and PRX can beat them. even without something, had PRX have more time to practice with CGRS, they would have beaten EG. they don't have enough map pool with cgrs, especially considering some of their composition change in some of these maps. even alecks said in the interview, in Ascent against EG, they don't have enough time to practice it. that's why they just wing it out. with something, only gods know whether or not they can challenge fnatic. and if you say it's only cuz of APAC in their name tag, i would say DRX despite never reaching the heights of PRX peak, they had always been considered top tier.

    Been a fan of Paper Rex ever since Benkai came out with a bathrobe in Masters Berlin 2021. Later I realized that they have two Indonesian players who are part of their team and as an Indonesian I was sold. I always like the team since it was good vibes all around while also showing that they can be really competitive.
    Their run at Masters Reykjavik and Copenhagen sold me that this team not only can meme but also can win. I also love the team behind the scene. They feel like such a family. Their RUclips also makes good content and with the addition of Sleepy (Their head of esports programming) the value increases exponentially.
    Being a fan of this team can be frustrating at times (Looking at you Lock In and Champs Paper Rex lol) but honestly being a fan of this team is about the high risk high reward. When they lose; people clown on you for loving a team that "ints" or "throw" but when they win you get to clown the team that lose against them since in their mind Paper Rex can only "Hold W".
    The fact that they're very creative in their comps, their playstyle is unlike any other, while also putting up numbers makes me so happy. In a game where everyone wants to follow the meta, they make waves doing their own thing. I really hope they can win an international trophy before Jinggg goes to military service. Since Smth is confirmed to attend Champs I am hopeful for them to win it all this time.

    I had never played Valorant before and I still don't that regularly. But how I got into watching Valorant matches was through Paper Rex. One of my friends once showed that forsaken was no. 1 in the apac leaderboard and was a paper rex player. Then I watched a match of them (didn't know about any agents or powers back then). Still it was so fun to watch, I got hooked. Then I watched each and every match of PRX, gradually learning how valorant is played. Their players twitch streams are also so fun to watch. I always liked Benkai's streams having a calm vibe but frustrated from the ranked teammates. Very sad to see to him being benched but not everything stays the same always. Let's see what the future for PRX holds with Something on the team. Another such teams I'm looking forward to is Global Esports and EDG. Also thanks Commend for making such an awesome video.

    damn, this is a really great way to explain a pro-scene in valorant. i mean, for a normal/new player in valorant, it must be confusing seeing the pro scene all alone, started to know teams, players and stuff, and getting confused by the way pro player's play nowadays(as example on how discipline they are). and on paper rex we all know they were unique, but keeping that #WGaming playstyle for years and still stay on top must need a huge effort from them. btwreally like this story, nice editing, subtitle, and also nice story build from start to finish. cant wait to see the next video.

    for PRX, the first breakthrought that make them recognize to the world is especially benkai walkout since that's the string what make PRX being known by everyone and the nail that put PRX to get this far is their playstyle and comps that is unique to themself without following meta and super aggresive...
    we really need to thank you Benkai for the hardwork and the meme he put to make PRX as until now because without him, even PRX will be treat like just another org that need to qualify to make franchise

    Being an Avid PRX fan since Iceland, Benkai, their unique playstyle and their comps that can't be replicated with a conventional mindset and half-assed commitment. It has definitely been a wild journey with its ups and downs, even though PRX is now considered to be a contender internationally the mindset against them is still considered to be underdog especially towards fans of other teams, I believe champs will be the most important tournament for them that'll surpass Copenhagen. Since Jinggg leaves after champions, another core member and in my opinion more impactful than Benkai will change their tempo and overall performance once he leaves. I wish them all the best for the coming champs and welcome a new era for whatever comes after.

    The most interesting team has to Edward gaming and Paper Rex. Edward gaming were the underdogs and got really good run but lost to Paper Rex in the losers finals. Paper Rex has very crazy agent combination that shouldn’t work but it does work from using low tier characters looking like a top tier. My favorite team at the time was gambit, it was because of nAts and Redgard. Before they swap to Liquid.
