Point is not to flame Fnatic but to break down their game and seems like downfall had too negative of a connotation so I changed the title if anyone was wondering about prior comments.
I think Derke or Boaster explained it best on the Fnatic channel. One if them said that they didn’t have time to change comps and stuff so people knew how to prepare agains’t them properly.
I thought how DRX played vs FNC on Bind was outrageous, just going for those hyper sgressive micro play and I thought it was ridiculous. But turns out it was actually an anti strat. Damn...
It was extremely different to how drx normally play so it had to be an anti strat. I'm just more surprised they didn't do more of that in the next 2 games
When u r the best team, everyone is studying u, it is already impressive that fnatic won 2 in a row much less dominating their 2nd vct win and even still got 4th place for champions. What I'm trying to say is that maybe their analyst and stuff don't have enough time to study every team, but every time is studying them so every team has got anti strats against them. Additinally, some players will not always play to their best every tournament. Due to this, I can't wait to see if eg next year fall into this scenario or will they just diff every team
their individual talent is so high that even if they get heavily anti strated, one of their players can just go and carry some of the rounds by themselves. But ofc, against the top teams like EG, PRX and Loud, individual talent will not take you very far as your opponents can easily match you in firepower. Also from what I can see, Jawgemo, Boostio and Ethan are highly unlikely to stay with EG, they will not be the same team anymore if that's the case. Right now, only Fnatic and PRX has the most unchanged roster. Fnatic with a different Head Coach, and PRX with Monyet instead of Jinggg
To be fair they only lost to loud and I don't think it was an analysis diff, I think loud is just their weakness even during lockin loud was the only team close to beating them even on their best map of icebox
Calling 4th place a downfall after winning two majors back to back is crazy. What next? "Why PRX need to drop their whole roster for not winning Champions"
Thats not the point of this. If you couldn't understand the point maybe take of those biased shades cuz FNC had a MAJOR performance downfall compared to Tokyo in champs
@@zeratultasadarov401you dont understand most title like cs, league, apex, dota, if a team had won they dont really need to "prove" themself anymore especially for a back to back, being a top team (like top 4 here) is already enough to maintain their pro career

I don't know what internal issues Loud had but the whole team seemed really united to want to fuck fnatic up as revenge for lock In.
The biggest reason why loud beat fnc, at least for me, was anti-strats, most apparent on lotus. Loud knew exactly what fnc’s default timing was, where they slowly aggress in all 3 mains so that teams won’t be sure which site they’re going. Problem with their default was that they showed pressure at each place in the same order in nearly every round, and loud was able to take space for free as soon as they knew fnc was in a default
