I absolutely love your videos. As a data analyst student myself I understand how difficult it is to extrapolate the underlying factors from superficial data. I really admire your works. If possible can you attach your works with some github links or something
So glad you brought up Yay. Optic’s signature style was inserting Yay chamber and letting him take 1v1s and lurk. It’s true that the play style doesn’t work nearly as well anymore with Chamber nerfs and teams getting better at handling it but it’s crazy that Chet doesn’t see the parallels here.
100T is a no joke anymore. Love to see Sung Jin Woo... i mean Cryo excel even more with that roster. This is a good analysis. 100% All of the teams stated should take notes on this.
this is the same exact problem with yay on bleed, they don't need yay on raze all the time, just get someone aggresive that likes to entry and have yay just be chamber/sentinel/or maybe even follow cryo and go smokes, and have him as an insert-jett player on jett maps
As someone who played pro in CS as a secondary entry/lurker. I could never excel as a first entry and I thoroughly understand demon1’s position. We make plans based off having some info on players not on reactions as a first entry would. We use our first entry to map the location and then decide positioning and angles in which will benefit us and excel with quick taps and predictions, not reactions.
this is what I found so confusing with NRG. I noticed this issue to a lesser extent, but it isn't one that NRG has necessarily had issues with before. NRG/Optic has used a Jett/Senti hybrid player in the last 3 iterations of the roster, in Yay, Ardiis, and now Demon. Why did the rest of the team suddenly forget how to play with this type of role? I think picking up a true IGL will help a lot as they can properly utilize that role like FNS was able to.
Same thing was happening with Tenz, he said that he always shined in the second entry role and during Reykjavik Sick was the true entry and he was second in, and when he became the first entry he struggled because it wasn’t his play style
I love how you broke down more than just Demon1 but how to play Valorant as a whole in the case of a Duelist and even other roles. This was very informative and I know I can take a lot out of it
Proper team fights and team chemistry are why teams like PRX, old EG, 100T, LOUD, old DRX, etc. excelled. It's way more important to have everyone on the same page than to run cool/flashy set plays (i.e. DRX's flow-chart-like playstyle which worked great in the early days because of their team having incredibly good teamplay fundamentals).
Really think you should have pointed out Boostio as the common denominator for both Demon1 and Cryo. He plays like a secondary engagement player, which gave D1 and Cryo the opportunity to play to their styles.
Really good video bro. It's shows why demon1, yay, and cryo struggle. With stars like these players, team may want to build system around them and they will carry u. This video also show that not that u r a player u will dominate everyone, it's depend on roles, system and team's synerguy. At the end of the day, Valorant is a 5 man game.
im js halfway thru the video but ig another reason why demon1 shouldn't be heavily relied on for entry is bec his aiming style relies a lot on first shot accuracy (idk how to explain it but for reference go and watch his latest vid where he played a lot of dms then ig you'll understand what i mean). compare it with how something aims, itll be a very big difference w demon1.
I never realized the correlation between 100T, EG, and NRG. It's actually scary how well it works as well. 100T picked up the brains behind last years EG (except Potter), and are now playing similarly to that team. Wow
It’s a team game nobody is a superstar alone. Valorant is such a complicated game and usually the ones that are winning are the ones with the best cohesion not necessarily the most mechanical. It’s kinda cool to see a players style broken down tho.
I already watched your vid the moment it came out but i didnt expect it to blow up so fast! Comment for algo lets get it half a million views this week🎉🎉🎉
This is similar to the tenz issue then isnt it(well old issue) player is playing an entry role while not being suited to it. a role swap would probably help demon1 massively after the initial hiccups that he will experience while learning new style. most of the plays he made while inserted into lets say market could have been done on a different agent.
damn this video is so underrated. you just debunked a huge mystery that i think a few coaches didn't realize. if Bleed hired you, i wouldn't be surprised at all if you could make yay great again.
The victor crashies core without fns igling just ain't it chief, they look so lost. EG players only meshed so well because of boostio's unique IGLing which involves aggressive engagements, similar to saadhak, unlike the FNS style of igling where the igl is passive in playmaking and agent pool. U can see 100t basically copy the way EG set roles in the team and have succeeded. Piecing together 2 people from EG with victor and crashies without considering roles and whatnot, hoping to recreate what EG had was a horrible decision
Boostio had said during a watch party if demon1 is made to shoot any util he just dies, but when he takes a clean dry fight be it 50-50 or even 40-60 he'll have better chance of winning it. But it isn't to say he's skill hasn't diminished significantly, missing quite a bit of flick and adjustments he used to hit effortlessly
i think this video made it very clear that entry is by far the hardest role in valorant and every team needs at least 2. SEN have tenz and zekken, EG had demon1 jawgemo and boostio, PRX have jinggg something and forsaken, GENG have texture and meteor (who plays yoru, cypher, kj but hes a bit of a maniac especially on kj), even optic had victor and yay, its nit necessarily having good mechanics or playing the duelist agent but just players who have immense balls and have the confidence to take more risks. There have only been 2 successful teams with a true solo entry fnatic and loud. Derke is inarguably fnatics solo entrh but alfajer is also a player on that team with immense balls and was willing to take risks and early fights often. Also this year theyve been running more double duelist with alfa. so in truth loud is the only team with a true solo entry, and it pretty much convinced me that aspas is the best player in the world.
i have never really improved in val after a certain time, I stubbornly attributed to me just not having a duo and just sucking at igl so i couldn't progress further in igl'ing in solo ranked, TLDR; I have never understood why people adhere to numbers in a game like val, i now know why LMAO, opens a whole new room in such a simple game. edit i realize that this does nothing but its nice to always improve when you reach a wall

@@peanutbutter6165watch the video. He isn't a hard entry player, of course his aim is shaky, he's under pressure knowing his team isn't gonna do shit to trade him or even help him. Either he does a miracle play or gets clowned on. NRG can't teamfight. That's been clear since 2023
@@speedforce8970 didn’t say anything about entry, where do you get that? I’m just saying individually his aim has been shakier, even when not entrying
Also Jawgemo played Omen in many maps, meaning he may have been the dominant first entry even when they played double duelists
this was so nicely structured, well done
very well structured and insightful video. i will say tho, demon1's aim at 2023 champs was absurdly crisp and i've never seen a pro aim that consistently over so many games ever. i think he was also just playing like a monster that season compared to this year, tho again you did convince me that his team's approach to games was also a big issue so yeah nice video
Bro, It's so cool to watch your analysis! Nice video
Ya i agree demon1 have the same playstyle with yay but they need demon1 to have calm aim that he used to have and they to change they're agent comp so that demon1 can have more time to reposition and find pick off that he used to . Ty bro Nice vid btw SHEEEEEEEEEEEEESH!
Its just my oppinion so
what a great analysis video bro. I was thinking you could make Pacific teams analysis video too :) Good job bro
Im actually convinced by the info and hard work you put it
thank you so much for making this video at first i thought that demon1 was bad after he swapped the team to nrg with the old optc core, now i actually open minded to how different playstyle affect the performance of the player like demon1
I absolutely love your videos. As a data analyst student myself I understand how difficult it is to extrapolate the underlying factors from superficial data. I really admire your works. If possible can you attach your works with some github links or something
Bro that was an insane analysis. Thank you
I think it is very sad that the old eg is no more especially for demon1 cuz he is still so talented
Wow these are some great videos. Hope your subscriber count keeps going up and up!
Really great video. I think this is a great explanation. I think they have the talent to fix their problems.
100T is a no joke anymore. Love to see Sung Jin Woo... i mean Cryo excel even more with that roster. This is a good analysis. 100% All of the teams stated should take notes on this.
this is the same exact problem with yay on bleed, they don't need yay on raze all the time, just get someone aggresive that likes to entry and have yay just be chamber/sentinel/or maybe even follow cryo and go smokes, and have him as an insert-jett player on jett maps
this is a really good analysis, im going to apply to my own teammates for our premier matches
Finally someone explained the situation so well Thank you ❤
As someone who played pro in CS as a secondary entry/lurker. I could never excel as a first entry and I thoroughly understand demon1’s position. We make plans based off having some info on players not on reactions as a first entry would. We use our first entry to map the location and then decide positioning and angles in which will benefit us and excel with quick taps and predictions, not reactions.
i always get so happy when i see an upload
this is what I found so confusing with NRG.
Very nice informative and logicall analysis from u. W points and statics used 🙏🔥
Same thing was happening with Tenz, he said that he always shined in the second entry role and during Reykjavik Sick was the true entry and he was second in, and when he became the first entry he struggled because it wasn’t his play style
beautiful analysis sub deserved
this is a very well put together video
I love how you broke down more than just Demon1 but how to play Valorant as a whole in the case of a Duelist and even other roles. This was very informative and I know I can take a lot out of it
Thats basically what ive been feeling like since they signed them, i never knew how to say this but this seems so logical to me
Amazing analysis ❤ appreciate
I like it how u could just make the exact same video about optic yay and dsg/bleed yay since all should apply to him aswell
YOUR VIDS ARE THE BEST VAL VIDS ON RUclips
Proper team fights and team chemistry are why teams like PRX, old EG, 100T, LOUD, old DRX, etc. excelled. It's way more important to have everyone on the same page than to run cool/flashy set plays (i.e. DRX's flow-chart-like playstyle which worked great in the early days because of their team having incredibly good teamplay fundamentals).
This analysis was amazing. Ur getting a sub for this.
Bruh holy shit such a W video. This guy needs to become a coach. such a detailed analysis!
At the end of the day, Valorant is a 5 man game.
i hope he can find his ground. such a crazy good player is being wasted like this
im js halfway thru the video but ig another reason why demon1 shouldn't be heavily relied on for entry is bec his aiming style relies a lot on first shot accuracy (idk how to explain it but for reference go and watch his latest vid where he played a lot of dms then ig you'll understand what i mean). compare it with how something aims, itll be a very big difference w demon1.
I wonder if this applies to Ardiis too considering he is playing well on Navi with zyppan and ange1.
Everything you said can be applied for Yay and his time with Optic vs now.
Piecing together 2 people from EG with victor and crashies without considering roles and whatnot, hoping to recreate what EG had was a horrible decision
and ex eg igl (boostio ) and coach assist ( zikz) are now on 100t, says alot about cryo new playstyle
W video. I loved that you touched on yay too
very great analysis. goated
Boostio had said during a watch party if demon1 is made to shoot any util he just dies, but when he takes a clean dry fight be it 50-50 or even 40-60 he'll have better chance of winning it.
But it isn't to say he's skill hasn't diminished significantly, missing quite a bit of flick and adjustments he used to hit effortlessly
with his aimig style and his super low sens it is impossible to create the same amount of space and take first contacts like aspas or jawgemo
i think this video made it very clear that entry is by far the hardest role in valorant and every team needs at least 2.
You actually nailed it on this one, nj
This is why Aspas keeps getting so much value
A video explaining all the subsidiary roles on a team would be really interesting.
Very good analysis man
