Due to the hurricane, I've been stuck on even a sofa, suffering without a way to get to a doctor for help. I lost the ability to sleep in 1982 due to Adrenal Fatigue, I have no help or car, and my screaming spasms caused me to lose my voice. Celine is so blessed not to live as I do. I ask God to take me daily in tears. At 70, my strength to fight is gone in the heat of living in a trailer in a kitchen next to a garbage after losing everything in Hurricane Ira. My mother battled this for 20 or so years and passed in 2019 from complications . The spasms can be so strong that they broke hip replacements she had put in from having spasms while walking and falling over. I wish you the best with this and anybody else that has to deal with this.

Mineral deficiency comes to mind. Months ago, I had high stress and digestive issues. My prior job was causing the high stress, and an eating disorder was causing the digestive issues. I remember getting eye spasms and then horrible leg cramps along with breathing issues, hypertension and periodic constipation, and dehydration. Doctors couldn't figure it out and kept dismissing it as anxiety, but I felt like it was something more, so I started doing lots of online research about my symptoms, which led me to diet. So, I started an anti-inflammatory diet, which after 1-2 months did help a good bit, but it wasn't until I did what I call a "gut reset" that I got completely better. I basically cleaned my intestines/bowels out and then started drinking protein drinks with minerals and vitamins along with my anti-inflammatory diet, and after a month or so, all of my symptoms were completely gone. Oh, and my last total blood count levels came out optimal, so my method must have worked in my case. I don't know if a "gut reset" along with a clean, high nutient diet would help Celine but my doctors didn't know what was causing my issue either so I had to fix it myself. If I were Celine, I would focus on creating the most optimal health possible at a cellular level. Heal the mitochondria and regenerate, and repair the nervous system. Of course, I wouldn't suggest doing what I did without consulting a proper team of doctors.

Dear Celine, I have listened to your entire video and my heart is broken that you have to go through such a horrible disease. The reason I say that is for the past 15 years I have suffered from stiff person syndrome, and no one knew what it was. No one could come to my aid and they only wanted to provide medication that made me a zombie. I had way too much more life to live than to be bedridden. I would have horrible spasms and be bedridden and my husband cared for me. Many doctors after being diagnosed in 2011 by Stanford Medical Center Undiagnosed me a let me go as a patient. Needless to say, this was heartbreaking and I felt all alone. I thought I would get well and live a normal life. many doctors are very afraid of the disease and only want to provide medication that made me a zombie. I had way too much life to live, so I persevered and learn to bear the pain and walk again. I wrote a book, “The Sheila Anthony Shaw story a memoir”, which tells about the many miracles in my life, but the mini trials that I’ve had to go through. This kept me focused and busy to stay alive. I was to be bedridden I would have horrible spasms and my husband who now has been married to me for 21 years has taken amazing care of me. I am still in search of someone to help me because it is now a diabetic called type 1.5 LADA, a late adult, diabetes. There are so many components to this disease, and being the one in 1 million is difficult because clinical trials are rare. I pray for you that you will not have to suffer. As long and you can find a doctor with the connections and resources to help you manage this disease with the help of doctor who cares and loves medicine enough to help. I am trying to find to slow down my raging autoantibodies that are attacking my good organs. My last GAD 65 test showed the antibodies were raging in at 25k +, that number is as high as the testing machine will go, so we do not know if it’s higher or not. I have not found anyone who understands how to turn them down or off and so I have to constantly be on guard with what I eat and drink and sometimes that affects the diabetes and other times nothing affects it. I can have water all day and my Glucose numbers still hit into the 300s to 350. Thank you for putting the name of the doctor above. We’ve been reaching out for a second diagnosis at UCSF in California and I have a research it with my infectious disease Doctor who works tirelessly with me and my husband. He is the one who really discovered the second time diagnoses of what I was living with . His name is Dr. David Craig Wright of Monterey Calif., and he’s on the hunt for help and support me. Sorry for the long story, but it’s a lonely journey when know one understands the pain you can endure from this autoimmune disease. May you be healed with minimal suffering .🙏🏾❤🕊

This is such devastating news! She loves singing and performing more than anything. In some way I guess it makes sense that such a rare condition happens to reach a person that's just as rare. She is one in a million as an artist, human, mother etc. Hopefully her platform and wealth will help her to raise awareness and maybe even provide funding for more research on the disease. Who knows... I pray that they find a way to stabilize her and help her to cope with this incurable condition in a way that will allow her to continue her passionate journey in music. I've always been a huge fan of Celine's, I know this would be absolutely breaking her heart. I don't have SPS, but I do have a severe incurable condition which leaves me in pain all the time called, Fibromyalgia, I had to give up a career I absolutely loved, yet I still couldn't imagine what she's going through. I have listened to your entire video and my heart is broken that you have to go through such a horrible disease. The reason I say that is for the past 15 years I have suffered from stiff person syndrome, and no one knew what it was. No one could come to my aid and they only wanted to provide medication that made me a zombie. I had way too much more life to live than to be bedridden. I would have horrible spasms and be bedridden and my husband cared for me. Many doctors after being diagnosed in 2011 by Stanford Medical Center Undiagnosed me a let me go as a patient. Needless to say, this was heartbreaking and I felt all alone. I thought I would get well and live a normal life. many doctors are very afraid of the disease and only want to provide medication that made me a zombie.
I had way too much life to live, so I persevered and learn to bear the pain and walk again. I wrote a book, “The Sheila Anthony Shaw story a memoir”, which tells about the many miracles in my life, but the mini trials that I’ve had to go through. This kept me focused and busy to stay alive.
I was to be bedridden I would have horrible spasms and my husband who now has been married to me for 21 years has taken amazing care of me. I am still in search of someone to help me because it is now a diabetic called type 1.5 LADA, a late adult, diabetes. There are so many components to this disease, and being the one in 1 million is difficult because clinical trials are rare.
I pray for you that you will not have to suffer. As long and you can find a doctor with the connections and resources to help you manage this disease with the help of doctor who cares and loves medicine enough to help. I am trying to find to slow down my raging autoantibodies that are attacking my good organs. My last GAD 65 test showed the antibodies were raging in at 25k +, that number is as high as the testing machine will go, so we do not know if it’s higher or not.
I have not found anyone who understands how to turn them down or off and so I have to constantly be on guard with what I eat and drink and sometimes that affects the diabetes and other times nothing affects it. I can have water all day and my Glucose numbers still hit into the 300s to 350.

We’ve been reaching out for a second diagnosis at UCSF in California and I have a research it with my infectious disease Doctor who works tirelessly with me and my husband. He is the one who really discovered the second time diagnoses of what I was living with . His name is Dr. David Craig Wright of Monterey Calif., and he’s on the hunt for help and support me. Sorry for the long story, but it’s a lonely journey when know one understands the pain you can endure from this autoimmune disease. May you be healed with minimal suffering .🙏🏾❤🕊
I understand! I've lost my voice due to the screaming spasms. You're so fortunate to have a loving husband to help you. I’m 70 and have been on the worst sofa since losing everything in Hurricane Ira. I'm in so much agony, I wear my shoes on this sofa 24/7, so I can stand and get to the bathroom.

She loves singing and performing more than anything. In some way I guess it makes sense that such a rare condition happens to reach a person that's just as rare. She is one in a million as an artist, human, mother etc.
Hopefully her platform and wealth will help her to raise awareness and maybe even provide funding for more research on the disease. Who knows...
I pray that they find a way to stabilize her and help her to cope with this incurable condition in a way that will allow her to continue her passionate journey in music. We all love you Celine and we will always be just as hopeful as you are.

I've always been a huge fan of Celine's, I know this would be absolutely breaking her heart. I don't have SPS, but I do have a severe incurable condition which leaves me in pain all the time called, Fibromyalgia, I had to give up a career I absolutely loved, yet I still couldn't imagine what she's going through. It's even sadder that I just found out today and no telling how long she's had it. My heart will go on is one of her best songs in my opinion. At one time I was tired of it and that was due to every radio station played it over and over and over again.
This should remind people that it doesn't matter how much money you have, no matter how many people in the whole wide world know your name. We all have 2 things in common. We can not escape an illness if it's our time and we all owe one death and it is our own to pay.
