  • “St. Cuthbert’s Way: A Journey Across Borders”
Join me, Mark H and Diamond Dave on this long-distance walk-a pilgrimage that weaves history, spirituality, and natural beauty into a 62-mile (100km) adventure.
St. Cuthbert’s Way is more than just a trail; it’s a passage through time. Named after the 7th-century saint, Cuthbert, who dedicated his life to the church, this route takes us from the Scottish Borders town of Melrose (where Cuthbert began his religious journey) to the mystical Holy Island (Lindisfarne) off the coast of Northumberland, England.
Remember, it’s not just about the miles; it’s about the stories etched into the soil, the sunsets over ancient ruins, and the camaraderie of fellow walkers. Lace up your boots, pack your curiosity, and let’s embark on this unforgettable pilgrimage!
We met some great folk along the way, a birthday girl, a real long distance hiker and a lovely couople of Americans from Colorado on a 'pamperage'.
Also thank you to Donna Van Senior for the coffee!
