Even these physically strongest men who lifts heavy weights, breaks down emotionally in many situations. I believe the real strongest person is the one who try to help others around them in all their worst, sad and deadly circumstances.
I absolutely love strongmen competitions. Not only do they focus on functional strength unlike bodybuilding (vanity achieved through strength) or powerlifting (three stable, relatively static lifts is not functional strength, but still impressive), but the culture is the rawest form of positive masculinity. All about building oneself and each other up to overcome obstacles. It just happens that for these competitions, said obstacles are to the extremes of strength. They have a similar place in my heart as Amish barn raisings.
