    Great tips , never seen any other RUclipsr telling you to spray off the adjacent panels incase of overspray

    This looks like something I can use as a booster after every third wash (I was weekly). My car and wheels are coated with Gyeon Pure. I think Gyeon wet coat would be an excellent “booster” for my existing coating. Seems easy to apply and rinse off. And I think would help with keeps the wheels hydrophobic as they get hit with brake dust every day!

      Anthony- wet coat can definitely be used as a Gyeon coating booster. Its a super easy solution to enhance the gloss and hydrophobic effect on a weekly/monthly maintenance routine.

      Detailed Image ok brilliant. So after thoroughly cleaning my gloss black wheels, so I wet the wheel, and then mist Gyeon wet coat over the wheel/spokes, and then how long do I wait until I pressure wash the wetcoat off?? Do I need to spray each spoke individually or is a cross hatch spray of 3-4 sprays over the entire wheel good enough? Thanks man

      @@antonyv8171 Less is more with wet coat, spray each wheel directly and immediately rinse off with a pressure washer or heavy stream of water. Here is a video on wet coat application: ruclips.net/video/lUy-nqT-z98/видео.html

    what would the drying process look like if you normally use a drying aid ?

    Unfortunately in the area I'm in I can't use a product like this that isn't "sun" or "very warm panel" friendly. It's always hot, even in the shade, no cover (palm tree's offer squat for shade lol). Not unless I'm going to be that one weirdo washing their car at night (panels are still warm even then).

      Hey ScottM, super warm weather is tough to combat. I'd definitely say this spray on- rinse off type of sealant might not be the best fit for you. What are you using currently? and for what application?

      Unfortunately that is not how this product was intended to be used. You want to spray it on and rinse away with a strong stream of water. If you are looking to apply a product to a dryu surface and wipe away, the Gyeon Cure is a much better option.

    Do I have to use a pressure washer? Or does the garden hose work as well?

    • @DetailedImage
      @DetailedImage  3 года назад +2

      A garden hose may not provide enough pressure to thoroughly rinse away excess product, so a pressure washer is highly recommended.

    I assume that after spray and rinse there is no need to dry the panels just let them dry naturally?

    • @iiREPWS3
      @iiREPWS3 3 года назад +1

      You’ll still have to dry the car else you’ll get dried water marks on the paint work

    • @DetailedImage
      @DetailedImage  2 года назад

      As Christian mentioned, you will always want to dry the panels to avoid any water spotting.

      @@rayrb3411 If you have streaking, try applying a little more to that area to "reactivate" and level it out. If that does not work you will have to use something like the Panel Wipe to remove it from the surface and reapply.

    I regularly use Gyeon Bathe+ as shampoo. Can WetCoat be used after that or should i use a non SiO2 shampoo? Thanks.

    • @DetailedImage
      @DetailedImage  3 года назад

      You can use another Sio2 based shampoo over another, however, the WetCoat is not a shampoo, just a protection product. If you are using a Sio2 based shampoo, you are already cleaning, so using WetCoat or a spray-on protection product like Gyeon Cure, CarPro Reload, or Gtechniq C2V3 would be a better option.

    Can you apply it just after waxing or does the wax have to dry first? Also, is it suitable f. a motorcycle as motorcycles don't have big panels?

    • @DetailedImage
      @DetailedImage  4 года назад

      You would not want to use this in combination with a wax. For best results you want to use this as a topper to a coating, or as stand alone protection. It will work great on a motorcycle as it can be applied to various surfaces safely.

    Can I use it before or after Wax?

    • @DetailedImage
      @DetailedImage  2 года назад +1

      You would want to use the WetCoat instead of a wax. Generally we recommend using sio2 based products together, but if you want to try a combination, I would apply a wax on top of the WetCoat. This is because a wax only lasts 3-4 weeks and anything applied on top of that will be gone once the wax wears away.
