Works even better if after spraying, you wipe it over evenly with a damp microfibre, then rinse off.

Works even better if you dry the car and then spray it on and wipe it in with a microfiber. More gloss, more beading, more slickness.
@@Todd.T manufacturer exactly specified DO NOT USE ON DRY PANELS...this product is not developed for such treatment...instead use Gyeon CURE on dry car panels.
@@draso19 There are many videos whereby people have tried using the product in a way that was not recommended and they achieved better results. One of them was by directly spraying and wiping the product in on a dry panel. It worked better. I've been using Si02 from Car Pro for about a decade and went from misting it on and hitting it with the hose to misting it on and wiping it in, and rinsing with a graden hose instead of a pressure washer, which is way better. You get better gloss and better beading. Now as amanufacturer, if I told you to spray it directly on the dry car and you did it in direct sunlight on a dark car, you're screwed. Just as screwed as someone who applied a ceramic coating in the same manner. I know John Q Public isn't the brightest, so I wouldn't recommend it either. For the enthusiast who would be detailing their car in a controlled environment, spraying on a fresh clean dry panel is best. You'd still have to wash off the excess, but the beading is superior. With the low pressure rinse I also get a slicker glossier coat that lasts a smidge longer. Now I am trying toppers, so it doesn't matter as much because that is what is doing the beading and the Si02 is my two month protection.
I just used this on my car a few weeks ago and it’s great for how easy it is to use.
Remember to rinse from bottom up. You don't want the water from the top to run down and take off the Wet Coat without the Pressure activating the product first.

you clearly didnt read manuals....Guys dont invent a wheel. Manufacturer gives clear instruction how to use this...first a roof and then rinse roof and all other panels. then start other panels and immidiately rinse. So no, you cant do from bottom up, this aaplies to a foam e.g. not this.

Not everyone has the benefits of using this in a garage or in normal weather…I think I should be ok using this on a warm summer day if I hose it off immediately, no? Also can you use this after every wash? Great video, thank you for taking some of your time posting this!
i have been wanting to try this product but havent yet. I use a product called "Touchless" by mirror finish polishes...you put about 2-3oz into a foam cannon and apply it that way.

I’ve never heard of Mirror finish before and that touches looks amazing and is cheap as hell. I use a product called Invisishield by image wash and it’s close to $100 a gallon

Even with wetcoat the leaf blower still seems to move the water a few inches, not blow it off completely. Not sure the specs of that blower.

Thank you. This product can be used all on its own as a stand alone sealant to protect your paint OR it can be apply over top of any other carnauba wax, sealant, spray ceramic, or true ceramic coating. Very versatile product. On my own car, I use it as a bead booster applied over top of a ceramic coating. What kind of car do you drive?
@@TheCarDetailingChannel Thanks for the quick response. I just got a new Subaru Crosstrek so I need get the paint protected. I might then go with a carnauba or polymer wax (not ready to try ceramic) and then go with a sealant. Unfortunately, I often have to park under a lot of trees, so the more protection the better.

I am thinking of going with the Turtle Min Wax mist Wax as it's easy to apply even in hot weather. Originally I was thinking of getting the wet coat but it's pricy and from all those youtube testing, my conclusion is they both are the same in terms of protection. Geyon products are great but expensive compared to other rivals.
I've tried this and beadmaker. I prefer this because of its ease of use.
How much difference does a pressure washer make vs a hard spray from a hose nozzle?
I can't speak for pressure washer performance, but I got great results with a garden hose.

I love fireball shampoo, it’s one of my favourites. I think the Hydrophobic properties left by the Fireball Shampoo were slightly better than this

Not like that at all. I haven't seen any extra dust on the paint.
How would u compare it with the nova jet ?
Nova jet will last longer and provide better gloss. Wet coat is quicker and easier to use
Im finding this quite strange, every single detailer channel is pushing WetCoat yet its been around for YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dont get me wrong, its great and ive used it for years but why the push now????
Two reasons that usually happens. 1 is that a big RUclipsr might make a video about the product which creates a lot of attention around the product. Then smaller RUclipsrs try to make a video featuring the same product to try to grow. It creates a sort of momentum around the product. 2nd is that the brand could send products out for testing. This is brilliant marketing on the brands part. That’s usually why.

In short, yes it done. You could technically apply it dry but use a wet microfibre towel to a spread it
gyeon states that you should never use this product on a dry car always wet the panel before spraying and don’t use it in direct sunlight, work in sections if the weather is hot
How long did it last? Can this be your only form of paint protection? Roughly long would it last on a daily driver in a rainy country in winter?
I live in the US Northeast with typical winters. Lots of road salt used here, & lots of rain all year.
I've went through 3 bottles of wet coat so far on a car that is washed weekly & had no fresh protection other than the "conditioners" in Megs Gold Class wash & previous top offs of Megs ceramic detailer spray. I did use wet coat after every wash, (2 sprays per panel & spread with a damp MF wash mitt.) The results were STUNNING. Self cleaning properties were unreal & drying the car was effortless. Can't recommend it enough.
I wash my car weekly and on average it lasts for me about 2 months in the summer, will see how it lasts during winter, lot's of rain right now and soon should start snowing. 1l bottle for me lasts about 10 months I guess. Started using it in the early spring and I still have enough for 2 more applications I think.
Bead Maker is better
don't like spray on rinse off products. you only get protection where you spray it so you go through tons of it. wasting $ id rather ise a ceramic spray sealant that can be ised as a drying aide since you're going to have to dry the car anyway you save a step and actually coat and top off whatever protection is there. many ceramic sealant you can spray on and rinse off .. the mfg just doesn't tell you that like Gyeon does. Groits 3 in 1 ceramic spray wax is one example and is much cheaper than Wet coat. and lasts longer and.... you don't have to wordy about making absolute sure you rinse it off completely onto the floor. what a waste
