Could to clear pocket be somewhere to store you ticket for your fishing trip so if the bailiff come to check up they won’t need to wake you if your having a snooze.
Had this bivvy for nearly 3 years can't fault it for the price. Its a good size 2 man and can fit 2 standard size bedchairs in 1 either side of the door. With the wrap it adds about an extra foot ideal for boots or other bits and bobs. The clear pocket on the front is for your licence or ticket so the bailiff doesn't have to disturb you if you're asleep 😉
Never understood the whole "one-man bivvy" thing... one or two, yer not gonna be carrying a bivvy far, might as well just go for the mansion... my nephew has TWICE bought 1-mans & been disappointed BOTH times !! ... shoulda listened to his wise old uncle... 😏 From the Emerald Isle 😎👍☘🍺
Wychwood brollies used to have a little storage pocket on the inside that was a really handy place to put your phone/receiver. Not so sure about the roof pocket but I'm sure it'll come in handy for someone
After fishing bluebell lakes and the amount of people asking when you’re leaving you could write it and put it in the clear bit on the front so they don’t wake you up 😂
I've the 2 man bivvy and wrap u can't get 2 beds in unless u put wrap on I've had it 3 years now and it's just broken so I'm very happy with it I've also got the utility shelter a bed and sleeping bag all westlake and it's really good stuff even got the leads and other bits
Ive had this bivvy for at least year an can honestly say its a decent bit of kit for the money i got it alot cheaper from go outdoors as it was in flash sale i use the peak and over wrap everytime its used also use the mesh to hold my headtorch and spare clothes
My only gripe is that the velcro straps for rods are on the peak only , and if you don't use the peak, your rods are always toppling off ! Otherwise a brilliant bivvy.
Bought one of these and didn’t have any instructions on how too. Would of been nice to have the instructions especially on the first put up. Other than that it looks a good sturdy bivvy.
First up. Great review video of a bivvy that I've long been waiting for. Now the admission...I'm not a fisherman, but I reckon that campers, like me, ( here I'm talking car campers ) have so much to learn from the fishing community. Yep...without carpers I'd never have discovered the Bulin T4 and Ridgemonkey toaster...other makes available. 🫢. So...after your review I bit the bullet and ordered the two man...oops two person Westlake Fragment, currently available on Amazon ( supplied by Blacks) for £169 as of 22/4/2022. Having read the reviews, I think, like a Skoda, you won't know how good this bivvy is until you own one. I'll update after delivery. I have a carper standing by to assist! 👍👍👍
How well do bivvies hold up in storms? I've been looking out for a tent to use for normal camping and discovered bivvies, they seem to tick a lot of boxes for me with their look, shape and size and seem to be sturdy. Would they be fine for this purpose? Or would a normal tent be better? Cheers
The removable back window's the emergency exit in case of fire... 🙄😂 The overwrap almost turns it into a 2-man !!.. 🤔 I remember overnight tenching using my JRC STI 2 man and getting a run at 3am whilst fast asleep... my nephew Jason was with me at the time... I leapt outta bed, made a dive for the doorway & got bounced back again by the mozzy door ! ... 🤭 Jay couldn't stop laughin at me.. 😳 Nice review , mate ! 🤗 From the Emerald Isle 😎👍☘🍺
Currently at 22/4/2022 Blacks ( part of the same group company as GoOutdoors and Millets ) are doing the Fragment TWO person bivvy for £169.00 On the strength of this review I ordered one. 👍
Just had mine delivered from go outdoors only problem is no instructions to put it up told by customer services to google it not helpful for a disabled person to be told that so so far not impressed hopefully this will change when I eventually get to see it put up
wobbling like a jelly in what looks like mild wind, would not want to be in one of these in a storm, you will be waking up to find it has taken off and ended up 10 miles down the road, with your phone in tow!

Basically a Trakker Armo from a few years ago so a nice size and design.
Bloody good value for a brand new bivvy.
I have a bigger westlake bivvy, it also has the clear pocket, I use it to put my fishing ticket in so easy to see I’ve paid
I've had this for over 2 years and still going strong. I also got it cheaper than that at Go Outdoors as they often put the price down on them 👀
My wife bought me the 2 man so i could take my son but its now become my main bivvy! I was well impressed with it

Can you get an overwrap for the particle one man bivy or does the two man bivy overwrap fit both?

Hi Dave, I was wondering how you got on with the bivvy? I was thinking of picking one up. Cheers
@@draz1000 Hi Draz,
I updated in another detailed post below my first one. Not a great experience, although the bivvy itself is made of good material.
I've got this bivvy fantastic bit of kit the only thing is the Condensation but other than that fantastic bivvy 👍
i noticed condensation with just the bivvy, but with the wrap on, no problem with 2 of us in it.
Not bad for the price considering the built in escape hatch 👐
Clear pocket for your license, or day ticket 👍
Great review can you letter box the front door
I'm going fishing next weekend and I got a Westlake particle 1 man bivvy
How you getting on with it mate?
WHAT'S THE PACK SIZE

I was on Ladywood lakes in the biggest storm wind gusts over 60mph this year and all i can say this bivvy its absolutely worth the money👍

Can u guys do a video on the best budget carp fishing setup🙏😂
I’d say the clear pocket it for your license and ticket for the lake 👍
Anyone kno where I can get this to ship to Ireland with no customs fees
Ask a friend in England to send it to you. Mark the price down and job done. You need a mate in England for it to work though.
The little clear pocket I would just stick my fishing license in it
I think that clear pocket is for your ticket
It's for hanging your 'do not disturb' sign on while you're having a shit
Is there a link to the website
Go outdoors website

Isn't that roof thingy for condensation? Might not, but pretty good biv for the price, nice one guys.
No it’s for putting light weight clothing etc in, mine has 2
This or a Fox EOS 1 man for 15 quid less... no contest really is it
🤦
Which one you think is better?
Just had mine delivered from go outdoors only problem is no instructions to put it up told by customer services to google it not helpful for a disabled person to be told that so so far not impressed hopefully this will change when I eventually get to see it put up

Peak
I'd put my ticket in there save anyone disturbing me to check if I'm napping 🤷
Good bivvy but that shlef is useless . Mine always no matter what is dripping with condensation
I think you can get an overwrap for this bivvy
And it will keep you just as dry and catch you as many carp as a £700 all singing and dancing camo one
More expensive bivvys generally have better material and are darker inside
Be better if you actually showed the putting up and taking down of the bivvy and wrap, especially for novices.
