I know way too many of the shows' lines, I'm ashamed to say. Also told a friend I wished Netflix would buy the series, and it happened almost right away after I said it, and I'm still watching it when I need a laugh (at least three times a month). Now I'm waiting for GOT.
I recall that Jason Alexander purposefully sang worse than he's capable on Seinfeld because George Costanza was obviouslly meant to be a joke of a character while Jason Alexander IRL is apparently quite talented and too good of a singer for the gags to be as funny. In light of that, I'd kill to see (hear?) how Jason Alexander might actually sing this song with the intention of doing a good job. (Although I really don't think George did a bad job, here, either. There's just something funny [for some reason] about George pining away here.
Jason was on Broadway for years, I understand. That's where Jerry found him, I think, but yes, he's said to quite talented. And yes, George's whining about wanting Susan back is so funny.
Jerry is the best friend, ever! He is always so welcoming and patient.
The episode is hilarious
GEORGE: I loved her Jerry, I loved her.
JERRY: No, you didn't.
GEORGE: And she loved me. Hoo, ho, she really did.
JERRY: No she didn't.
😁
Elaine: Not only didn’t you love her, YOU DIDNT EVEN LIKE HER!
George: Who says?
Elaine: YOU DID!
Tell her that i NEED my baby, oh
😂😂
George... Im afraid that im gonna have to ask u 2 leave

He actually had to re record George’s answering machine because first time out it was too good.
Lol
Is George singing a real song?
indeed he is.
Indeed it's real. The song was recorded by Charlie Rich,
"The Most Beautiful Girl".
