About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

"Once you can get a girlfriend, you don't want a girlfriend. You just want more girlfriends." George is 90's Aristotle
Susan was way out of George's league, but he still manages to somehow find ways to get attractive looking women like her all throughout the series.
Jerry only dated hot chicks too and he's not attractive either.
@The Shah of Iran no he said it correctly, George in real life would never get a girl like Susan.
@@bluemystic7501 Yeah but he's funny at least, lots of comedians have dated beautiful women
@@charliepanayiotou4305 Yeah but that's besides the point. Sitcoms have always paired good looking women with average Joes. It's a moot point to even comment on it.
That's what makes him George 🤣He probably made that a part of his contract
One time George uses nose pick to get out of a relationship. This guy is on whole another level😂😂😂😂
George Costanza the greatest hero of the show… Neumann comes a distant 2nd, then Kramer 3rd followed by Jackie Lawyer and then Mr Bookman + Soup Nasi
What about the guy that parks the cars
It's weird because that is exactly how I acquired a butler.
What Susan said about George is absolutely true about his character development.
the lady laugh is perfect at 4:39 lol
lmfao perfect irony XD
Perfect auto derision
(George ruins Susan's career and life) "......THIS IS GREAT!!!!"
Real smooth, George
Because of that kiss, George had ruined Susan’s life and he got her fired. Now, he’s gotta be there for him until she gets another job.
FYI on Netflix right now it’s Season 4 episode 9
THOSE COLLARS ARE FUNNY!
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in … Lol
First he wines he can’t get a girlfriend then when he does he didn’t want them 😂
I would totally watch a new season where George is old and a father and everyone else is still doing their thing. And George hates them because "we are all were supposed to get a family"
I love that guy in the dark suit bursting out laughing!
Seinfeld is the only sitom that is not about the main character
Finally my stupidity pays off! 😂
I really forgot how dark this show was. Incredible
Brilliant writing
Thing is, the butler thing happened to George in an earlier episode
*A sitcom?!?! Bwahahahaaha!!*
You can sitcom on me!
I'm so sorry Sherry, I'm trying to make myself happy
Great stuff ~
Is the guy with the glasses the one that gets shot to pieces by ED-209?
Yes!
That s mind blowing !!!
Susan’s parents were well off. She didnt need a job.
0:32 double clap
Unsure why the last two old women are laughing at the idea of a sitcom being written.
Because sitcoms are supposed to be crap.
And it s also funny : a sitcom making fun of sitcoms
That's funny
Does Jerry never work? He’s not a touring comedian? Does he have a residency at some NY club or something..?
he was always traveling across the country but seemed to have residency at The Improv
Is it just me, or did George have an unusually high number of girlfriends for a short stocky bald man?
Well some guys like him has its own charms ig
You forgot slow witted :)
@@Michael-yd7nt lol
He's a bad seed. One of the worst seeds I've seen.
And unemployed most of the time.
Because of George this is why I don't kiss my girlfriend when she's working, or in public, or at home, or when we're in bed.
underrated comment😂
I stopped kissing her too, actually.
:3
This is why I just save myself the trouble and not have a girlfriend. Yeah, that’s definitely why.
Hahaha. Good one
After being fired she said I'll speak to you later what an amazing girl hahaha
What an iconic line “finally my stupidity pays off “he’d been waiting his whole life for that
These hilarious Seinfeld shorts being ad free is the greatest miracle of our times.
Shhh...
it's gold jerry! gold!
Yup more miraculous than vaccines
I like the part where George kisses Susan.
Damn it I was being facetious
I think Jerry is friends with George and Kramer so he has material to do stand-up
That's what the show is actually about. It's not a show about nothing, it's about how comedians get their material.
Of course, that’s why he puts up with their antics.
I love how they so smoothly show how clueless network executives are about what is funny or cutting edge.
It's not "smooth", that's what happened to them... 🤌 "Seinfeld" fans are so dramatic these days ffs
Lol It’s always been like that.
Susan was always too good for him.
The IRONY of "A Show About Nothing" is that this show WAS in fact about Everything that affects Everyone! Borrowing a quote from one of the episodes...WE ALL ARE WINNERS! LOLOL
Best comment!
Suddenly, a new contender has emerged...
if I'm not mistaking, both Ideas described by Jerry were actually made. I remember when they all are waiting for a table a a chinese restaurant. Great show 😊
I don't remember the butler one
@@timowthie yes the Butler one happened and I think the Butler was George or Kramer
Cartwright!! Cartwright!!!
@@GreaserCentral the butler one is the one they actually use for the pilot of "Jerry"
That's the joke
Always loved this show. Hilarious with no real long term plot- brilliant
It’s the show about nothing, absolutely nothing 😁
3:30 most hilarious thing is he got the outcome he wanted inadvertently without even wanting it
But then they pulled him back in.
That’s what made the show brilliant
And this is why this was the greatest show of all time!
love how stupid they make studio execs look here. laughing hysterically at a neck collar.
I love it when George acts swaggering (it happened every now and then) and invariably screws up catastrophically. I also love the meta commentary on the TV industry in these episodes; the corporate suits hate the story about nothing, but like the contrived butler scenario. Of course, last laugh went to Larry David!
And the Chinese Restaurant was an actual episode!
What ever happened with the 'opposite' behavior that landed him that chick they never showed how it backfired and he went back to Regular George.
ffs it's not that deep, Larry and Jerry are just retelling their own experience when they were developing "Seinfeld"... 🤌 It's so weird how hyperbolic some fans of this show are, it's a nonsensical contrast...
Larry David scored at least one using the 'writing a sitcom' pickup.
2 sitcoms!
George is the Supreme anti hero; The putz that sails through life!
antihero or villain protagonist?
shipwrecks through life is more like it
The girl at the end was laughing but George did it well... Also he's working on his own show now on HBO and his show is doing pretty, pretty, pretty good.
What show?
@@andrewg3768I think they're talking about Larry David (who George is based off of) and his show Curb Your Enthusiasm
@@gregmc621 yes I see.. I've never liked that show. Have always loved Seinfeld though.
*his* show
@Light Bearer no I've watched it a number of times and just don't like it.
The methods of Costanza- version 1
Poor george always making a fool out him self but in a funny way🤣
I loved the irony at the end of the clip. Prior to Seinfeld, the network sitcome really were crap ...
When Costanza called Rita Kierson,” Russell “ was hilarious. The way he contorted his body and laughed. Then when Jogdish said he would be wearing one of those collars. The Stu Crespi guy and Shermack said,” Those are funny, every time you see one of those you immediately start laughing.” That was interesting writing ✍️, smoke coming off the pen 🖊 on that one.
Thanks for mentioning her name. That stare she gave is powerful!
Classic, brilliant show. What I don't get is why I love it so much when george and elaine are written to be the worst human beings in the world.
That’s the genius of it
I think we love them because we all know someone like those characters
@@sj_88088 and also because we have a llittle bit of them inside us, unconciously...
The music is great, soundtrack is what makes it a feelgood series. A terrible situation, but B uplifting music that makes you feel good.
it's not just that you love the show, but you also identify with the characters.
and I don't think they are the worst human beings in the world. George can be pretty bad sometimes. but you can forgive him when you look at his parents.
THOSE COLLARS ARE FUNNY!
When I see George and Kramer do their things I realize that it was the genius of Larry David that made Seinfeld the great show it was.
Kramer was based on a real person. Everyone on the show was pivotal for its success. jfc 🤌🤦♂️
My stupidity pays off ! I want that to be the title of my autobiography.
That last part is one of the average man's many dating nightmares. 😅
Ask most married men. And they'll say ONE woman is more than enough for any man . . . if they're honest. The problem for men is similar to the problem women face. They hafta kiss a lot of frogs before they find the prince ( or princess ). hahahahaahahaha
4:02 George had the exact same reaction (inside his head) when Susan died.
Reserved jubilation
@@dspsblyuthrestrained jubilation
Susan was hot in this episode...
She s hotter with long hair
@@Boss_Tanaka Right
That last bit is funny because that's how a lot of writers feel in L.A. and New York -- nobody cares if you're a writer.
"FINALLY MY STUPIDITY PAYS OFF"
I can’t watch this, the second-hand embarrassment is just too much for me.
Seeing the men most women are interested in, I think a sitcom writer would be a step up.
i think that depends on the sitcom.
@@scottmatheson3346 Everyone does NOT love Raymond.
He never deserved Lovely Susan👈🏾
She s a bit twisted because of her parents and bossy
"Carol, This guy's writing a Sitcom!"
How dafuq can George still not be happy even when he gets the things he wants??
🤗 I’m sooo happy right now… thanks a thousand times!👍🏼
George's confidence was impeccable
Susan looks hot in this episode!
What was the meaning behind those two women laughing at George for writing a sitcom?
Was that Larry David’s real experience or were they poking fun at writers?
How many sitcoms become a major success?
Now consider how many sitcoms came out during the 80's/90's. There's your answer.
It was just a way for the universe to pay him back for wanting to break up with susan. The end punchline that the episode needed.
....Just for the irony and the comedy probably. George thought having "Sitcom writer" on his resume would get him all kinds of chicks, when in fact it turned them off and didn't get him any dates from having that on his resume.
And he has to cook for me
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAA
what I never got is how's the lady who takes over Russell's position, seemed that she likes the pitch of the butler, but passes on it after it premiered 🤔
She didn't like Jerry's acting. "I told you. These standups can't act."
The NBC suits didn’t like this show poking fun at them but they couldn’t ignore how much money it made
I wish I had a friend like Jerry.
Me too
me too
Kramer seems to be a better friend option. *slams organ on kitchen table*
4:15, the hope that keeps me going!
Best sitcom ever! Hands down
Absolutely
Correct
Hands up too
This and Three's Company are the two best sitcoms ever made.
@@shannonquinn8687 The Office is better n my opinion. Lol
I have not been to a bar for coming up 5 years. I think I will use the sit-com line of I ever indulge, lol.
algorithms seem to send me season's 8 and 9 clips which is weird
Poor Lilly
Lol gorge and his what do you do question 🤣
Finally, my stupidity pays off..lol
3:20 gets me every darn time hahahaha that look between them is priceless
oh poor Susan!!
Never liked Susan. The woman who played her or the character.
So so FUNNY! Loved the ending! 😫😪🙄🙄
- What is a pie! Giddyup again!
1:00 The sheer underrated, slighted and layered humor of this was well beyond our time
No, it was exactly in the time it had to be, *that's why it was a success when it originally aired.* 🤦♂️🤌
2 chicks at the end were great…😂 a sitcom…😂
George's story idea is an Andy Griffith episode
Funny how the executives didn't like the idea of an episode that was already filmed and that helped define the series, while a completely preposterous idea was met with belly laughs.
The marvelous drum lately wander because defense rhetorically bore following a pale pantyhose. deranged, stormy rest
I love George but he's the worst .
Thats Larry David in the end .. Right there.. His actual experience maybe :P
When the two woman walk out the bar 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
i just love the look on her face when she tells him....."how can you write that CRAP?!!!!!!
damn..!!!
lost his girlfriend and became undateable ...double whammy..!
why i’m missed so many episodes i don’t remember watching this one 😮
George is hilarious 🤣🤣
2:38 George doesn't like his ideas being stolen
Just like when Jerry once said "I m back baby! I m back!"
Isn't this the same woman he married in the show later on??
The best sitcom
George was one of my favs...Jerry not so much!!
I pray that GOD helps me forget about you . I pray .
