Special thanks to RUclips viewer Danny for pointing out the correct Acura ZDX crank pulley bolt torque. Make sure you add engine oil to the crank pulley bolt threads and washer before installation. 48 lbs/ft plus additional 60 degree turn.
    Radiator cap and reservoir cap.

From what I’ve seen, you gotta put a lot of force to get to that 60 degrees after the 48lbs of torque. Danny

Yes, I will definitely torque the new bolt when it arrives and will turn an additional 60 degrees. I didn’t add oil to the threads on the old bolt and I am afraid the old bolt is weaker than a new bolt. I didn’t want to risk the bolt head snapping off if I tightened it more. The Acura service manual says you need to lubricate the threads and washer when installing. I will make an updated video with the correct installation process when the new bolt arrives.

I just ordered one also just in case. The head of my crank shaft pulley bolt is pretty rusted after 14 years in winters/salt. It won’t be that much of a luxe. Danny
