- A scenic drive through the Rocky Mountains in Colorado on US-6 Clear Creek Canyon Road. I take a detour through Black Hawk, a casino city which was formerly a mining town, and then make my way to I-70 through Central City Parkway. This was one of the most scenic areas I've ever experienced, with all the white water rafting, gorgeous canyons, and lots of nature.

The road going through the Rocky mountain is so beautiful. How many days did you go from New York to Los Angeles? This Rocky Mountain you have to go through Vancouver Canada, right?
The Rocky Mountains were spectacular! It took me about 2 weeks to get from New York to Los Angeles, but only 7 days were dedicated to driving.

Yes, the altitude did affect me! It was very subtle but it eventually gets to you.

Unfortunate there were so much traffic probs going up the canyon. I understand there has been a lot of road work going on.
