Duck Dodgers Starring Daffy Duck (also known as Daffy Duck Starring As Duck Dodgers in PAL regions) is a platform video game for the Nintendo 64 released in 2000. Based on the cartoon, the player takes control of Daffy Duck and explores five fictional planets and saves the Earth. The object is to collect energy atoms to unlock the boss areas and defeat the bosses, whom upon defeating, opens up the next planet. This game has Rumble Pak support and allows the player to save the game directly to the cartridge with the battery back-up, rather than using a Controller Pack, as many other third-party titles on the Nintendo 64 used such to save game data.
Plot:
Marvin the Martian has developed an ultimate weapon that will allow him to finally destroy Earth, which will ultimately allow him to take control of the universe. Upon the demonstration of the weapon, a slight snag hinders Marvin from completing his devious deed. The weapon is out of atoms, which it runs on, so he sends his minions (all of which are characters from the Looney Tunes universe) to gather atoms to fuel his weapon.
Duck Dodgers is informed by his academy of Marvin's deeds and sets out to find the one-hundred Atoms before Marvin can. This ultimately has Dodgers and his sidekick, Cadet, trekking to four different planets, including a large pirate ship, to obtain the upper-hand over Marvin.
Reception:
IGN gave Duck Dodgers Starring Daffy Duck a good 7.6 out of 10 overall praising the game's presentation but had criticism with the blurry graphics and the gameplay because of "super loose control and difficult camera movements". Overall reviews were mixed. GameRankings gave it a score of 72.73%, while Metacritic gave it 69 out of 100.

My home language is spanish, but I used to be play this game around my 8-10 years old and didn’t understand nothing of what they said or the story about atoms.
I only run around the maps, kick martians and died, but I was really happy and spended hours and hours.

I rented this a few times when I was maybe 5 or 6 years old. It's so surreal seeing you defeat the first boss in around 20 minutes, while it took me the whole rental period (few days to a week) just to GET TO THE BOSS and never beat him. But one time I rented, It had someone else's save file on and I got to see the 2nd level, where old people hit me and I got ran over by a car. Good times!
I get the feeling Dodgers is someone I can depend on.
I like this game it deserves a remastered version of it.
I also like Duck Dodgers too.

This is one of those games that I’d wouldn’t blame someone for not knowing or thinking was terrible. However it is one of my favorite n64 games.

I just can't believe this game was so good considering it really wasnt supposed to be this good. Like it looks like a regular game that you just pick up for a few hours and then move on. But they actually put effort into it. I just remember me and my brother played it a lot as a kid. And man these were some good times

I never understood why the pirate ship was Planet N? Planet J use to stress me out... the way the people look at you when you walk by or the hostile guards in the museum, I felt like that must be what it's like for an alien to just show up on a distant planet like that...

I played this a ton when I rented it from blockbuster. Never could beat the game but I did enjoy the mechanics and platforming.
I still remember to this day and looking everywhere, that there was a strange eerie glitch somewhere in the 1st level. Where daffy becomes a bit adjusted and flies off with his arms to the sunset until never to be seen. While the sequence is still playing, very jarring credits appear (I forgot what, I was 5 or 6 years old at the time)
But I wish I got footage of it somehow and was wondering if someone encountered that as well but no luck.
I'm not highly sure if it was an error with my cartridge either. As said, it was such a weird glitch, it still remains in my mind to this day knowing I was the only one to discover this.
On N64 consoles, if you slightly tilt your cartridge upwards while in-game, its possible to make the game behave in very weird ways until it eventually crashes and you have to reset. Maybe you cartridge wasnt inserted all the way into the console that time and thats why you saw that strange behaviour on your game

I'm playing this in an N64 emulator at my xiaomi phone in an app calles happy chick. But it is sooooo glitched and cursed. Windy tunnel and that sliding sewer part went absolutely blind at the screen, i could not see a thing. Only the green smokes and the blue trail behind dodger's sliding animation. Not to mention the underwater sections. The game has really nice underwater mechanics and i can't see a thing underwater. Screen goes all water colored and that's that.
There's also gonna be a Duck Dodgers from Playstation, right?
