We have a long way to go para maka-level ang na-achieve ng Venezuela sa lahat ng beauty pageants esp in MU and MI. Tama si Pia that we cannot be complacent kasi baka next year ligwak na tayo and Thailand and Indonesia are getting stronger at lumalaban na rin si Vietnam. Thailand is very hungry for their 3rd crown. IMHO personality and stage presence ang dapat i-develop natin sa mga Miss Philippines on top of comm skills.
So true...yung personality na palaban at very confident sa sarili. Com skills will follow pag ang kandidata may tiwala mismo sa sarili niya at sa kakayahan nya.
I agree on Pia when she said that on her time most of the time she is alone. Especially sa mga hindi naman major events ng BBP. Say for example yung kwento nya about red charity gala where she wore a blue gown and the alta madams predicted that she'll win pag blue gown. I admire her when she said before the event she arrived with no make up then nagpunta sa CR nag make up at nag gown and pak! Reyna na ang aurahan. Ngayon parang super pa glam team na sila lahat.

Among our 4 Miss Universe winners, it was on Pia that I had no inkling that she was on her way of giving us the 3rd crown. In 1969, when I saw Gloria Diaz in person, prior to her departure to compete, I had this gut feeling that she would. This happened again in 1973, when Margie earned the right to represent us in Athens, Greece and again my instinct didn't fail me. With Catriona, our 3rd Miss Universe, no less than Pia, confirmed that when she saw Cat, our 4th crown is in the bag. Though Pia's victory came to me as a surprise, I was truly overwhelmed by her feat. Who cares??? Everybody loves a winner.
What I love about Miss Universe now is that.......They choose the most perfect Gurl that fits the Elusive Ms.Universe Crown.....Parang OLYMPICS Lang dapat well prepared Para matira Ang matibay at ang Philippines ang nag set ng Bar so high.....Kaya na hawa yung mga Shupit Baler natin.....Nakaka proud talaga mga Queens natin lahat may substance
