We need women with solid advocacies na may impact sa mundo apart from just being beautiful.

Most fans out there made fun of R’Bonney’s arrival look. I mean she stood out being so down to earth. She stick to her brand and advocacy. I don’t even know what CC’s advocacy 🤷🏻♂️ so happy my girl won! 🇺🇸
Celeste is stunning & her communication skills improved a lot. Her gorgeous face alone was NOT enough. Her credentials, advocacy & prelims were outshined by other girls. Celeste mentioned about relatability & authenticity but almost everything was manufactured by her team. They focused on glam shots, high end fashion but they forgot the engagement to fans/followers (di nga mainterview ng mga pinoy pageant vloggers). What happened to her advocacy? Did she work on it? Was it really authentic? Did she even work on her social media? Did she ask for fan vote? Was she & her org complacent? While R'bonney, Amanda & other girls who made it to top 16 had strong credentials & strong advocacy. We did not see all the areas that the judges/MUO saw. We did not see what happened during the closed-door interview. Let's accept & move on. This is a humbling experience for all Pinoy pageant fans. Support the new Miss Universe and her authentic advocacy.

Guys, hopefully these few words of encouragement might help: 1. Beauty pageants, especially Miss Universe should be about the women, and empowering them. It's not about the country and the pride of winning. Back to basics tayo as to what should be important. 2. Let's not point fingers anymore, and it isn't anyone's fault at this point. We cannot expect that we will be on a winning streak forever. Unfortunately, that time has come. If it's important for us pinoy pageant fans na maka balik sa ating winning streak, let us soul search and LEARN from our mistakes. Times a changing and we have to be quick na makipag sabayan sa pag iba ng panahon. 3. We should be proud of what the Philippines has achieved in the world of pageantry. Naka tatak na tayo sa history books of pageantry and it's something that no one can take away from us. Mabuhay ka Celeste Cortesi! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas.
Know when to peak pa nga! Hahaha. Hindi talaga ako sold sa prelim performance niya. Too calm na nagmukhang boring na rin. Plus sa story ni Olivia Jordan, nagbigay na siya ng hint na maraming surprise candidates ang papasok who did so well during the interview. So ligwak ganern talaga siya.
After Celeste won MUPh she's very vocal on fighting the people's right for their land especially our tribe people as she works as a real estate agent. After I've heard about it I was so excited because it's new and different. And I was so confused months after she won she works in Save the children PH.
This is a good learning experience. Rocking the standards & definitions of the pageant world makes for more eligibility & brave hearts. Excited to see what awaits us 🧡💜💙

Sana big lesson learned and wake up call eto to MUPH. 1. Time is the essence, prepare as much for all of the aspect of the competition. Preparation is discipline. You already know what I mean it's all about these last two minute issues with the costumes and prelim/final dresses what else behind the scene what not. 2. Never have that game plan of holding back. Do not think you only will give your best at the final. Give your best at all times in all aspects. 3. Never understimate others and never rely to the sash power. Regrettably to say, this might be for another decades of draught for the Philippines if the MUPH will not transform their mind and actions.

Kay Rabiya- Saan ka makakita ng kandidata na month before the pageant pinalagyan ng Boobey ni hindi pa ata hilom yun during her MU competition, Same with her veneers na nilagay malapit na pageant ending si Ate awkward ngumiti at mag talk even mga fillers nya sa mukha…Kung ikaw di binigyan ng sapat na panahon sa mga retoke mo lalo na at dimo kinasanayan malamang iba paliramdam mo..Bakit Last Minute? Kasama na yang Styling nya at National Costume na parang di pinagisipan na napaka bigat! 2. Kay Bea Lugi Gomez- Aminado naman si Sir Voltaire Tayag na a night or day before the finals night ni Bea hinahanap nya si Bea at mjo upset sya dahil hirap sya kontakjn, ang reaosn last minute change ng rampa establish and arm placement kaya si Bea during finals sa evening gown yung humawak sya sa bewang tapos bigla binaba, hindi smooth dahil biglaan tinuro..Sinabi ni Voltaire yan mismo sa YT channel nila sa Empire, sino ba namang hindi mangangarag sa last min change sa pinaka important aspect sino ba di mangarag at maistress.. 3. Kay Celeste- sige given na need ng approval sa mga Ravelos and ABSCBN, pero bakit December lang nabigay approval? Kelan ba cla Nagpasa? And hindi ba cla naglagay ng backup plan like other costume if di ma approve or madelay ang approval? Ung Darna costume maker na nagsabi na they had to make last min adjustment dahil nasasaktan si CC sa nakapatong sa likod at balikat…And the gowns sa dami daw mg gowns nila hirap daw mamili, so talagang yun ang nakita nilang the best gown for pre finals? Ang daming gown ang na fit at na practice dto ni Celste bakit don sa bagong gown sa US na di cla sure sa fit at style sumugal? And also bakit nung nakatanggap sila ng bashing after pre finals tsaka nila pinatawag ang mga taga The Camp para i-help na sila?! Ang hilig ng team nila imanufacture ang mga kandidata! Wala po kulang sa MUPH. Maraming nga silang pa surprise, pa stress at mahilig baguhin ang candidate na di na mailabas ung capability ng candidate nila. Celeste is already strong but. They still tend to change her.
I suspect yung professional credentials ang main factor ng hindi pag-abot ni Celeste sa top 16 kasi meron ako napanood na ambush interview with Paula Shugart at sabi niya yung closed door interview is essentially a “job interview”. Linked yun sa hinahanap nila ay “transformational leader”. Meron pa balita na 50% or 60% ng total score ang interview. So next time dapat accomplished professional ang ipadala sa MU. Si Celeste nag-aaral pa kaya wala pang magandang professional record, at yung advocacy niya ay hilaw pa at hindi linked sa profession. Napansin ko yung top 3 sa MU ngayon, lahat ng advocacies nila linked directly sa profession nila! Just my take on what happened.
She’s definitely the Catriona of this batch! She worked alone without the help of her organization. You can see on her stories everyday that shes always working on something for the competition. Such a true artist aswell. Sorry pero CC really underperformed. Hindi lahat madadaan sa ganda lang. hindi lang naman sya yung maganda among the contestants. Cmon its miss universe. Its more than just the face. feel ko if makapasok man sya sa top 5. Malalamon lang sya ng iba sa Q and A. Even her cape alone sa prelims is underwhelming. Ang difference, Cat actually had the support of BPCI. Wala syang camp because she left Aces & Queens pero BPCI had her back and fully supported her goal of gathering her own team for MU 2018. Whereas si R'Bonney, super ikli na nga ng preparation time, ang limited ng support na nakuha nya sa Miss USA dahil sa controversy na sinimulan nung ibang mga kandidata against her.
I love Celeste but I will admit, at this point, I see a lot of similarities between her and Natasha, both really banked on their style and great looks, but neither really had the strongest speaking skills that I think really push the candidate forward, even Celeste’s prelim performance is decent at best, her makeup, to choice of gown, it didn’t feel like she was completely ready

Also, lesson learned sa MUPh yang mga last minute brouhaha nila sa natcos at gowns. Kung sakaling mahina si Celeste sa closed-door interview eh pinangalawahan pa ng weak pasarela kasi nga tinapyas ang angas factor. On the brighter side, wala tayong dapat ikahiya dahil undeniably beautiful ang kandidata natin.
Correct. Miss Universe organization is desperate for TV sponsors, Network coverage and a host. So choose MS.USA as the winner to get AMERICAN TV sponsors so they can get on American Network TV, then make sure thr Carribean countries and South America have exposure because the host will be EL SALVADOR NEXT YEAR. And who will go to EL Salvador? Carribean and a fee South and central Americans. Pick Laos, India and Portugal because they are possible host countries. Indonesia will not host yet so get these countries so either Laos or Cambodia will host. Small non TV sponsors don't count anymore such as designers, shoes. Miss Universe needs TV NETWORK AND TV AD SPONSORS guys thus Miss USA. RBONNEY looked bored or uninterested and sorry but there's no comparison between her and Dominican Republic. I think overall nag iba na talaga ang taste ng MU. All of the semi finalist have a great life changing story to tell that ultimately became the root cause of their chosen advocacies. This was very evident when the hosts called out the first set of semifinalists. And more importantly they all seem to have been working/supporting their advocacies for a quite some time and not just after they won their national titles or during their campaign for their national pageants.
I agree with you. I posted the below on Rina Hendriks’ channel: All of the top 16 had their own advocacy that they are deeply passionate about before joining their national pageant. With or without Miss Universe they have already found their purpose in life - to bring about positive change in their community. You can hear their passion and conviction in their voices. No amount of training can mimic genuine passion. It is clear to me now that MUO’s “transformational leader” is a woman who transforms the lives of OTHERS through their leadership and I think this will be the standard moving forward. If MuPh is wise, they will need to rethink their criteria; beauty, pasarela and “technically perfect” swim and EG is no longer enough. All of these things are trainable - a purpose in life is not.
MUPh should start listening more to pageant fans. It happened to BPCI before. After giving in to fan clamor starting Venus, di po ba mas gumanda performance ng Phl sa MU? 🤔
And maybe the MUPH title is destined to Miss Bohol last year but because we have this stigma of beauty, that she's not the beauty standard, we tend to aligned it to a woman who has incomparable beauty (Celeste). It's destined to Miss Bohol because she picked the right question, question that is suitable to her experience or situation. 1. Time is the essence, prepare as much for all of the aspect of the competition. Preparation is discipline. You already know what I mean it's all about these last two minute issues with the costumes and prelim/final dresses what else behind the scene what not.
2. Never have that game plan of holding back. Do not think you only will give your best at the final. Give your best at all times in all aspects.
3. Never understimate others and never rely to the sash power. Regrettably to say, this might be for another decades of draught for the Philippines if the MUPH will not transform their mind and actions.

Kay Rabiya- Saan ka makakita ng kandidata na month before the pageant pinalagyan ng Boobey ni hindi pa ata hilom yun during her MU competition, Same with her veneers na nilagay malapit na pageant ending si Ate awkward ngumiti at mag talk even mga fillers nya sa mukha…Kung ikaw di binigyan ng sapat na panahon sa mga retoke mo lalo na at dimo kinasanayan malamang iba paliramdam mo..Bakit Last Minute? Kasama na yang Styling nya at National Costume na parang di pinagisipan na napaka bigat!
2. Kay Bea Lugi Gomez- Aminado naman si Sir Voltaire Tayag na a night or day before the finals night ni Bea hinahanap nya si Bea at mjo upset sya dahil hirap sya kontakjn, ang reaosn last minute change ng rampa establish and arm placement kaya si Bea during finals sa evening gown yung humawak sya sa bewang tapos bigla binaba, hindi smooth dahil biglaan tinuro..Sinabi ni Voltaire yan mismo sa YT channel nila sa Empire, sino ba namang hindi mangangarag sa last min change sa pinaka important aspect sino ba di mangarag at maistress..
3. Kay Celeste- sige given na need ng approval sa mga Ravelos and ABSCBN, pero bakit December lang nabigay approval? Kelan ba cla Nagpasa? And hindi ba cla naglagay ng backup plan like other costume if di ma approve or madelay ang approval? Ung Darna costume maker na nagsabi na they had to make last min adjustment dahil nasasaktan si CC sa nakapatong sa likod at balikat…And the gowns sa dami daw mg gowns nila hirap daw mamili, so talagang yun ang nakita nilang the best gown for pre finals? Ang daming gown ang na fit at na practice dto ni Celste bakit don sa bagong gown sa US na di cla sure sa fit at style sumugal? And also bakit nung nakatanggap sila ng bashing after pre finals tsaka nila pinatawag ang mga taga The Camp para i-help na sila?!
Ang hilig ng team nila imanufacture ang mga kandidata! Wala po kulang sa MUPH. Maraming nga silang pa surprise, pa stress at mahilig baguhin ang candidate na di na mailabas ung capability ng candidate nila. Celeste is already strong but. They still tend to change her.
I suspect yung professional credentials ang main factor ng hindi pag-abot ni Celeste sa top 16 kasi meron ako napanood na ambush interview with Paula Shugart at sabi niya yung closed door interview is essentially a “job interview”. Linked yun sa hinahanap nila ay “transformational leader”. Meron pa balita na 50% or 60% ng total score ang interview. So next time dapat accomplished professional ang ipadala sa MU. Si Celeste nag-aaral pa kaya wala pang magandang professional record, at yung advocacy niya ay hilaw pa at hindi linked sa profession. Napansin ko yung top 3 sa MU ngayon, lahat ng advocacies nila linked directly sa profession nila! Just my take on what happened.

Ang difference, Cat actually had the support of BPCI. Wala syang camp because she left Aces & Queens pero BPCI had her back and fully supported her goal of gathering her own team for MU 2018. Whereas si R'Bonney, super ikli na nga ng preparation time, ang limited ng support na nakuha nya sa Miss USA dahil sa controversy na sinimulan nung ibang mga kandidata against her.

I love Celeste but I will admit, at this point, I see a lot of similarities between her and Natasha, both really banked on their style and great looks, but neither really had the strongest speaking skills that I think really push the candidate forward, even Celeste’s prelim performance is decent at best, her makeup, to choice of gown, it didn’t feel like she was completely ready

So choose MS.USA as the winner to get AMERICAN TV sponsors so they can get on American Network TV, then make sure thr Carribean countries and South America have exposure because the host will be EL SALVADOR NEXT YEAR. And who will go to EL Salvador? Carribean and a fee South and central Americans. Pick Laos, India and Portugal because they are possible host countries. Indonesia will not host yet so get these countries so either Laos or Cambodia will host. Small non TV sponsors don't count anymore such as designers, shoes. Miss Universe needs TV NETWORK AND TV AD SPONSORS guys thus Miss USA. RBONNEY looked bored or uninterested and sorry but there's no comparison between her and Dominican Republic. I think overall nag iba na talaga ang taste ng MU. All of the semi finalist have a great life changing story to tell that ultimately became the root cause of their chosen advocacies. This was very evident when the hosts called out the first set of semifinalists. And more importantly they all seem to have been working/supporting their advocacies for a quite some time and not just after they won their national titles or during their campaign for their national pageants.
I agree with you. I posted the below on Rina Hendriks’ channel:
All of the top 16 had their own advocacy that they are deeply passionate about before joining their national pageant. With or without Miss Universe they have already found their purpose in life - to bring about positive change in their community. You can hear their passion and conviction in their voices. No amount of training can mimic genuine passion. It is clear to me now that MUO’s “transformational leader” is a woman who transforms the lives of OTHERS through their leadership and I think this will be the standard moving forward. If MuPh is wise, they will need to rethink their criteria; beauty, pasarela and “technically perfect” swim and EG is no longer enough. All of these things are trainable - a purpose in life is not.
MUPh should start listening more to pageant fans. It happened to BPCI before. After giving in to fan clamor starting Venus, di po ba mas gumanda performance ng Phl sa MU? 🤔
And maybe the MUPH title is destined to Miss Bohol last year but because we have this stigma of beauty, that she's not the beauty standard, we tend to aligned it to a woman who has incomparable beauty (Celeste). It's destined to Miss Bohol because she picked the right question, question that is suitable to her experience or situation.
