I am very happy that Miss Vietnam won the crown. For me, her winning is very significant because of these 2 reasons: 1st reason - this is the 2nd MGI crown for ASIANS (after MGI 2016 from Indonesia) 2nd reason - Vietnam, like Indonesia, is our neighbor. Any crowned queen from the ASEAN region is the winner for all of us. I support any candidates from this small regional bloc and will support her reign regardless if the MGI queen is from Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, and of course the Philippines Again, congratulations to Vietnam for winning the Miss Earth in the past, and now the MGI
When SanPan was crownd Bb Grand, I was a bit surprised. I had a hunch that she wouldn't had a chance at MGI. Even Tita was pointing out the profile of the girl that MGI wants. But SamPan did her best and I'm happy and proud of her.
I think as long as BBP keeps sending girls, we’ll support that girl. But it’s almost like, WHAT FOR? Also it’s such a slap in the face to the girls who put so much resources and effort in doing well in this pageant. The MGI org isn’t legit or professional if they are that petty.
It is okay not to win. But she deserves at least to be in the top 20. It is impossible to overlook her. She had a commanding presence. MGI is such a waste of time. Last year, Phl was robbed clearly. And this!

I believe Nawat and his team have already achieved what they wanted ever since the inception of this pageant in 2013. MGI just needs to be talked about every year and generate more publicity regardless of whether the result is credible or not in the eyes of the pageant fans. Nawat likes drama, as you can see how it has evolved through the years. Of course, he owns the pageant, so he can do what he wants, right? However, as long as there will be countries that keep sending their delegates every year, and fans like us who will follow it and react on social media - this issue will keep going on... For me, MGI in terms of pure entertainment value - YES For organization credibility - ?????? For their advocacy and platform - well, if Nawat is really serious about MGI's relevance in today's world - he should bring the winners to have an audience with the leaders of RUSSIA and UKRAINE, ISRAEL and the PALESTINE, ETHIOPIA, etc. in order to broker peace negotiations. I kinda had a sinking suspicion SamPan wouldn’t end up advancing, I loved her since day one, but most of the awards she got were all fan supported, when it came to her prelims, she did well, but didn’t stand out the way other contestants did, even the quiet African countries like Angola and South Africa (who make a small impact at Miss Grand) became fan favs

Time to reflect: Nawat is a shrewd businessman. MGI is all about him --- and not empowering women. The winner does not become an ambassadress but a poster girl for his pageant. That defeats the purpose of any pageant that is not supposed to objectify women. While it is known for its grand productions, it suffers in credibility. Moving forward if it wants to have integrity and be relevant, its management must learn to draw the line: between mere pageantry and public accountability. National directors must ne circumspect too in making candidates are not ill-disposed while subscribing to certain standards and rules in a pageant. MGI offers a lot of promise to be a competent pageant --- if and only when the owner knows how. In the end, it is not about him or the management but a candidate that inspires women all over the worlld and carries with her an unquestionable brand - with pride and honor.
I love Vietnam and other winners, but I hate MGI. Binibining Pilioinas should have dropped it!!! Our queens have done so much but still their efforts are not worthy of their placements in MGI, worst Panlilio did not enter in Top 20. Sabi nga, let yourself surround with good people, not those toxic people, not reciprocating to your efforts and doings, etc.
My thoughts on this. Porke di napasok ang candidate natin eh cooking show na. Diba may prelim interview sila? So baka doon nagkaalaman. Infairness, lumaban sa finals ang karamihan. Kaya tayo napag iinitan ng management eh lagi tayong may say or nambabash. Didn't we learn from Miss Globe? Diba nagsalita din against the fandom ang head nila? Nonetheless, grand opening and grand show in general ang pinakikita ng Miss Grand International. Pang world class ung production value pati mga swimwears nila pak! Miss Grand Vietnam? She did really well and definitely an eye catcher. Didn't expect her to win since I have my own bet which is Puerto Rico. Pero with her bubbly personality during the Q and A eh laban na. To the next candidate na ipapasok sa Miss Grand International... mag aral ka na ng Raikatopeni... I'm getting this feeling na gusto ni Nawat na mag Thai ang mga candidates for relatability.

Sam did here full best efforts but it's not enough. It's really a scripted show they don't want Sam to be in the top 20. I think Ms Stella Araneta should #CancelMGI because it's not worth for our Beautiful & smart BB queen 👑 to be used like that. And it's not even in the BIG 4 pageant yong MGI. Time to reflect: Nawat is a shrewd businessman. MGI is all about him --- and not empowering women. The winner does not become an ambassadress but a poster girl for his pageant. That defeats the purpose of any pageant that is not supposed to objectify women. While it is known for its grand productions, it suffers in credibility. Moving forward if it wants to have integrity and be relevant, its management must learn to draw the line: between mere pageantry and public accountability. National directors must ne circumspect too in making candidates are not ill-disposed while subscribing to certain standards and rules in a pageant. MGI offers a lot of promise to be a competent pageant --- if and only when the owner knows how. In the end, it is not about him or the management but a candidate that inspires women all over the worlld and carries with her an unquestionable brand - with pride and honor.

I love Vietnam and other winners, but I hate MGI. Binibining Pilioinas should have dropped it!!! Our queens have done so much but still their efforts are not worthy of their placements in MGI, worst Panlilio did not enter in Top 20. Sabi nga, let yourself surround with good people, not those toxic people, not reciprocating to your efforts and doings, etc.

Porke di napasok ang candidate natin eh cooking show na. Diba may prelim interview sila? So baka doon nagkaalaman. Infairness, lumaban sa finals ang karamihan. Kaya tayo napag iinitan ng management eh lagi tayong may say or nambabash. Didn't we learn from Miss Globe? Diba nagsalita din against the fandom ang head nila?
Nonetheless, grand opening and grand show in general ang pinakikita ng Miss Grand International. Pang world class ung production value pati mga swimwears nila pak!
Miss Grand Vietnam? She did really well and definitely an eye catcher. Didn't expect her to win since I have my own bet which is Puerto Rico. Pero with her bubbly personality during the Q and A eh laban na.
To the next candidate na ipapasok sa Miss Grand International... mag aral ka na ng Raikatopeni... I'm getting this feeling na gusto ni Nawat na mag Thai ang mga candidates for relatability.
