It feels seems like the Cops put on a "show" because the camera's were around. This clearly screams to me that the cops are often making things worse when the officer is bad. If every "narcotic" dealer were to never commit robberies or other violent crimes they might have a viable chance at legalization.

As a German I appreciate and respect cops to the max. Been in the states over 50 yrs and have noticed a tremendous change. Empathy is amazing, patience is gigantic, but sometimes I just want to scream when those embacils are treated like they have sense. They don't ! Don't let frigging social media direct your actions. Johnson's baby powder smells wonderful, but please don't powder their tusches! Thank you from a vet and nurse to my cop brothers.

I used to watch COPS with my mom as a kid starting in 1994-1995... when I take my son to visit her we still turn it on sometimes! It's the perfect show

Hey! Me too! Born in 1995 and watched it in the 2000s, though. My dad had primary custody of me so I was only at her house on the weekends but Saturday nights were my favourite. Back-to-back COPS followed by America's Most Wanted. We'd always try to guess the tally of how many people AMW had caught before the episode. It's no wonder I love true crime now. Some of those cases (and reenactments) were terrifying and probably shouldn't be watched by a kid - seeing the moment Brian Wells' collarbomb went off, for instance. Time flies. Since I stopped watching it with her, they've caught Dennis Rader (BTK), Yaser Abdel Said, and Jessica Hoopsick confessed to being involved (and maybe working with) Brian Wells - which were the crimes I remember most vividly. Since then, both shows have also been cancelled and renewed multiple times. I'm glad they're both about to be back.

The cop lit them up and they didn't stop immediately. They pulled into a parking lot & they both stepped out of the car during a traffic stop when he was by himself.

Because most of the time their actual criminals and they're just trying to get back to their house so they have to tow the vehicle but in most cases when you run from the police, the vehicle becomes evidence

My favorite part of good policing is the order and procedures that must be taken and certain standards that must be met. Almost every interaction is a learning experience for each officer. New or old, every situation is a different beast
I've been watcing 'Cops' since I was a kid. The one famous remark I've remembered over the years is 'i ain't did nothin' officer'. Remember that folks, you ain't did NOTHIN!

I've heard of people keeping their prescription medicine in a baggy or some container other than the prescription bottle if they expect to be out all day because the bottle is too big and fragile to carry regularly. So that being said: I believe the guy with the baggy of pills. A Prescription is easy to prove.
I do. Not a baggie, but other containers. If I kept all my medications in the original prescription bottles, I would literally have to carry a separate backpack or bag with me at all times, instead of just my purse. Not only that, but it would be dangerous for me. If I lost them, or had them stolen, I'd have no persciptions. My plan only allows one refill per month. No way would I risk that.
I do. Not in a baggie, but I have other containers that I put all my pills into. If I had to keep them all in their original container, I would literally have to carry an extra backpack or bag around, as opposed to just carrying around my purse. That way, if I'm not home yet and it's time for me to take my medication, or I get stuck somewhere, I will have at least some medication on me.

The officers in the bar relied too much on their less lethal weapon systems that weren’t effective. It was obvious the pepper spray wasn’t working. Plus, they sprayed other officers taking them out of the fight or at minimum less effective. Sometimes you have to go hands on and you better train to be confident to do so. I am not bashing them, we always review use of force incidents and learn from our mistakes. I think that more communication would have been effective. My professional opinion as a 19 year law enforcement officer and supervisor.
