I remember that. Supported that mission and during it my boss was like 'when is your wife having the baby?" I was like "probably next week". We will get you out when we get Abu Musab. The got him and my boss rushes me over to BIAP and the POTUS locked down the airfield for like a week. Couldn't get out and had no clue if my wife had the baby. Stuck on BIAP next thing we can fly and made it back with 4 hrs to spare.

If there is one thing I have learned from listening and reading books by elite special operators is their ability to be critical of themselves…. They hold themselves to a higher standard…. This country needs more of that

I hear you and totally understand, but that’s more political. Soldiers just do what their ordered to do and have no choice. He might have a personal opinion on it, but it all stems from the overlords. Almost all of my family (except me) served this nation in the military going back to the founding of this country, and all got nothing but f’ked over and treat like sh*t when they left. They deserve better, much better.

@@jb7483 - Your right. I agree 100%, especially because he’s a public figure. I got into a pretty heated argument with a recently retired Ranger then Delta Force operator about this very subject. He refused to teach civilians, only basic flat range skills, zero tactics. He doesn’t believe in the second amendment.

A majority of those guy's (former special operations) don’t think citizens should have that level of tactical training, yet they’ll gladly train any local, state or fed that will pay them. Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi lived in the same neighborhood as me, which is (Masoum Neighborhood) in the Zarqa Governorate in Jordan. He was a normal person interested in his studies, and suddenly he became as you know him.

Wow ive never been more proud to be an American. I have so much respect to every soldier that has ever served from revolutionary war the civil war Vietnam wirld war 1 and 2 . Irag and Afghanistan wars . Indian wars. Ive studied so many wars and battles in history and this guy hit it right in the head .theres a winner and a loser and wat happens in between is just brutal and theres a reason ptsd is soooo common in so many soldiers.think of the revolutionary war or the civil war or the battle of the little bighorn. What did those soldiers do to cope with wat they saw and did? My god. Think of the sildiers who had to walk up to all of custers troops stripped naked and mutilated and their scalps and testicles cut of and arrows shoved in their mouths and thrirs thighs and arms cut ta pieces and their fingers and toes and hands cut off and 30 arrows sticking in them and their guts hanging out. That sum serious shit. Then u got bury ur buddies well wats left of them . They said custers brother was so mangled they could only tell it was him because of a tiny piece of his initials tattooed in a piece of his skin. Cuz he was unrecognizable from being bashed with a war club. Thats hardcore shit people. And they didn't have programs back then. Like they so today. I bet when custers scout bloody knife got shot in the back of the head and brains and bone and blood went all over renos face i bet he shit his pants right there. Cuz thats when he started making conflicting orders to mount and dismount and then made a run from the timber to the bluffs across the river and thats when crazy horse and gall killed most of renos guys it was a blood bath . That "every blade of grass" quote is often attributed to Admiral Yamamoto. He supposedly said it would be (some self-harm word I can't say on youtube) to invade the United States because there would be a gun behind every blade of grass. In reality there is absolutely no record of Admiral Yamamoto saying this and it was almost certainly not something he actually said. I just think its hilarious how Tim Kennedy has misremembered this quote so badly that he gets the Countries backwards.

I served in Batt and my buddy is currently serving in 19th Group (same as TK) and trains with him on occasion and said the guy is a giant douche but he’s very well trained and knows his job. Sometimes that’s how it goes. Sometimes the best operators are shitheads.

The appetite for winning a war. I spent 35 years in law enforcement, also in the intelligence community. I am a Christian and believe strongly in God, have become very interested in the mystical side of Christianity and firmly believe that God is Love and everything that entails. I also have witnessed unspeakable evils. I have come to believe the purest form of justice, is for a police officer, soldier or operator to kill evil, a person in the heinous act of hurting or killing another human being.
