    Phil Campion could no doubt be a standup comedian!🤣🤣What a guy, after everything he went through as a kid to still be this force of giddy optimism and have a great career is simply excellent! Top episode!💯

    Phil Campion is the epitome of an SAS Blade, just like all the other guys who have served in its ranks through the years. And just so people know ,Phil has earned his Green beret having done the "AACC"All arms commando course. Also, his Maroon beret ,having passed P-Company and the most famous of all the Special forces selection to earn his SAS sandy beret and blue stable belt. Passing all three of the hardest training's in the British military, and considered some of the hardest training out of any military. What Phil done is known as the Holy Trinity in the British army. He passed and earned all three,maroon,green and sandy berets. An original British "O.G".

      MOUNTAIN LEADERS IS THE TOUGHEST .......

    • @barryhamilton7845
      @barryhamilton7845 8 месяцев назад +2

      @nickjohnson710 Don't know their pass rate for the SAS/SBS, but one of the Regiments that have got a 99% pass rate for sending lads is 59 Commando Royal Engineers now "24 Commando" R.E. Dean Stott and Ant Middleton are just two who served with them,but it would have been 59 Commando at the time.

    • @nickjohnson710

      @barryhamilton7845 Dude......I've heard 22SAS guys say the mountain leaders course is tougher than selection......these aren't my words but people who have done both

    • @barryhamilton7845
      @barryhamilton7845 6 месяцев назад

      @nickjohnson710 I'm not talking about specialist training like the M.L ,I'm talking standard training like P-company. You could say the Path finders is another hard one aswell,as is SRR selection.

    Phil is a stud. What a fella!!! Ex-SAS, but doesn't show it off, very humble and self deprecating which is a rare quality in folks these days - funny and I am sure a great laugh at a party, although I would not want to mess with him even today , as "those SAS guys, they're real badasses..." (from First Blood re Green Berets...). Hard as nails back when he was at Credenhill... I bet.. .

      I'm sure he's gutted or regrets getting booted or i mean buying himself out,as he knew his actions whilst being in the SAS he was causing himself problems which they didn't like ,so leaving at that particular time when the SAS was just about to start or take their part on the war on terror. He mentions in another interview that he got out at the start of September 2001 and then a week or so later the twin towers get attacked. So something tells me, he regrets missing out on that chapter of the SAS spe ding years over there between Iraq and Afghanistan as im sure Phil would have been in the thick of it ,and would have done his job to the best of his ability as he was a top bloke ,and most of all a top soldier.
