Made a simple circle / arch cutting / routing guide.
It works with non- ferrous metals too, and also with wood.
Its a prototype for commercial uses, but i tought that i should share the idea for the diy people too. :)
Used 3M cubitron 2 cut off wheels to cut steels.
Aluminium is cut with 3M silver cut off wheel.
-Its made for to be used with inox & steel, but works nicely with aluminium too. If you want to use only one cut off wheel, this is a good choice. It cuts nearly every metal.

This is the best one I've seen.
Great idea I need to cut two concentric circles and Ive tried freehand with snips, then with a grinder and they all looked very rough. This makes such clean circles, I want to copy your idea and make a jig like that too. Thanks!

Very cool idea and works very well, I just purchased a very cheap plasma cutter online for doing this kind of thing, will do a review soon to see if it does its job.
And did you check out the ballistic knife I uploaded ?, I thought it was a pretty cool job.
I may possibly make one from an aluminium handle, but can't wait to see yours.

This is made couple weeks ago. Snow is now nearly disappeared, temperature is about +10 degrees of celsius atm. I am now sitting on front of the window, and enjoy sun warming my face. 😃
Now this is clever. I just watched another guy destroy a pair of perfectly good vice grips to make a flycutter... which he tried to use "handheld". For non ferrous material that is still metal you can use a magnet underneath the table and it will hold both the jig and the material. Atleaat thats what I do

what's the smallest size hole you can do?
If you needed to cut a circle that same diameter from thicker plate steel, like 1/2", would you use an angle grinder?
No. Torch or plasma. Maybe, if i need only one piece, i might use an angle grinder. Otherwise it would take too much time and wheels. When cutting circle, wheels makes wider groove, and wears out faster.

Hi I have judged started making mops in my backyard but I have had challenges with handle holder . I can't cut the metal in circles i end up just making rectangular shapes.
