- First and the most original version about the angle grinder guide. Year after publishing this they started to make them in China. ( also several other youtubers suddenly "invented" The same )

Searched for a good build idea for the grinder. Saw this one early on and watched dozens after this one. Came back and watched this a few times. Best out of all the others. I've already fabricated all the parts, just gotta weld it all together
If you watch the publishing dates of the videos? You'll notice that this also was the original version.
@ I'll have to pay attention. This video is actually the only one with this design that I found. All others were different. It was only after I made it did a bunch of other videos with this design start coming into recommendations. RUclips gave me the original first. 😊
I appreciate how you have maintained all the functionality of the various tasks an angle grinder is used for and designed in the quick-change aspect which is so important. Great!
Of all the DIY angle grinder attachments, this is the best! Took a lot of things into consideration to make it very versatile. Thanks.
I love this complete build in one video. Enough info to build one for myself. Thank you
After I bought my everlast welder I found I needed a grinder. Now I have 5 grinders and I am for sure going to make one of your creations for at least one of them. Thank you for the great idea and sharing
This is about the coolest thing since sliced bread and flip top beer! Thanks for the upload
At the start of this I was thinking "What's he trying to achieve here? What's the point?"
Now I'm thinking this has to be one of the best, most useful tool-making videos I've seen. Turning your grinder into a circular saw, chopsaw and bench-grinder.
I see adverts for low-cost commercial versions appearing above where I am typing, but they don't have the fun of actually making it!
Thanks for sharing.
I keep watching this video and cannot think of a reason except I need to make this for my grinder! Great Job Tuomas!
Thanks for sharing your grinder hack. I just finished doing mine and it works great. I even use it as mini circular saw. Thanks again bro...
That is pretty darn clever. I think I could build this without much trouble. Nice work and thanks for sharing.
Awesome build, bro!
The chopsaw/bench grinder part at the end blew me away!
You really should consider patenting & marketing this if it's not already out there.
For the person who doesn't have bench grinder or metal cutoff machines, this idea fills those roles nicely, and you could make long straight cuts if you use a straight edge too.
The way he made the tool, and how he put this video together gives me the impression that Tuomas is good at whatever he puts his mind to. Good stuff.
Thank you very much!
Amazing idea, just awesome! I think it wont be long till u see it in tool shops everywhere.. You should protect the design asap, it has so much potential!!
Excellent Design! Thank you for sharing!
Best one of these I've seen. Also, the cleanest work.
Yes my friend as I had told you before, your creativity an innovation, never sleep. Greetings and my respects from the Caribbean Shore.
Very well thought out and elegant, thank you for sharing!
I'm glad I found this video. This is exactly what I had in mind. Thanks for sharing.
Great idea! Definitely going to build one or more of those. Thanks!!
Hello I am from Russia. Thank you for the video. Great job. Good luck.
коля смирноф Thanks for the comment. Im from your neighbour country, Finland. 😊 Too bad that i don't speak Russia very well. Good luck to you too.
Did it today, it's on de side of my welding table.. tank you for sharing this project!! cheers!
That's really cool! I think I would add a removable spring to hold the grinder up when using the cut-off fence feature but only if I were cutting a bunch of stuff at the same time. For an item or two I'd leave it the way it is.
Best one I've seen yet.def the one I'm making. Thank you
nice this is the best angle grinder attachment I've seen. Great build!
Dakota Black Thanks a lot!
That's sweet! I was thinking about making a stand and turning my 7 inch grinder into a chop saw of sorts but I like this better. Another thing on my to-do list.
Excellent..!! Toumas, I really liked the addition to be able to take advantage of our grinder, I am an amateur to work with metal and make additions to make our life easier when working any project.
So I decided to take more advantage of it and taking as inspiration your video, make my new addition, just today to prove that it works, thank you very much for sharing.
Greetings from Mexico.
Cristian Garrido Thanks buddy. Im glad if you found it usefull. 😊
the best DIY adapter I have seen so far....congratulation.
Bravo. Best one I've seen yet
Tuomas, I'm seriously impressed that the tool manufacturers haven't grabbed your designs and sold them as their own. Good job once more, and I will be making this for my own grinder.
Alonzo Branson Thanks mate!
Thank you very much for sharing this. It's a great job I'm going to build it! Greetings from Mexico!!
Holy crap, got half a mind to make one of these of my own. Great work!
Tuomas, thanx for great video and idea!
Its really simple, compact and multiply functional attachment for grinder. And its safety.
More tnx!
Евгений Ушкалов Thank you for your nice comment!
fantastic! love your work!
looks like one of my grinders is going to be a 'circular grinder'/mini cut off saw/ bench grinder! excellent, thanks very much!!
stevethenurse Thanks mate!
Excellent job, it is a lot more than I was expecting!
I was going to build a stationary 4'' chop saw, not now . . .going to make one like yours!
Dam good design, glad you put this out. . . Thanks
Finish guy (Tuomas) really like your ideas and work. Very well thought through and done. Don't stop, will be stealing (using) bits of your grey cells' ideas.
Keep well. And btw Metal is never a bad thing - have been hooked on Ensiferum for a week now, bloody Finns I say :)
I like your channel header. Thank you very much for supporting our country in this difficult time for us!

толково! давно собирался похожее сделать. Спасибо. Молодец.
Excelente idea!!! Miltifunctional! Bravo!!!!
for holding that grinder with one hand using a cutoff wheel those are pretty straight cuts
Thank you very much for this fantastic and original design. I'll be making mine today and will call it TOFiG. Best regards.
looks lovely, really nicely made, but I usually just put a ferrous disc in my circular saw.
Once again great job brother! Like I said before, I don't have welding equipment but definitely will be looking in to some equipment and some classes in the near future!
Jaime Navarro Thanks. And great to hear!
I rent an expensive tile saw to cut granite. It was a big struggle and I end up finishing my project with same grinder. Your attachment to the grinder could make my next project a lot easier.
Великолепно! Без лишней болтовни, все по делу!
That's sick! One day I will try this. Great job dude.
Project incomingggg!Good job man.
A algo así de espectacular en mi país decimos ¡qué maestro! Congratulaciones.
To something so spectacular in my country we say ¡what a master! Congratulations.
a rare useful design. thank you.
Ideia simples e fantástica!
I definitely want to weld one of those with my everlast welder. Nice tool.
well done! congrats. really 'getting more'.
It's the simple solutions that are the best.
Like E=MC2, simplifying things makes humans happier. You should be a tool designer as this is a great add on. It's the people who work with these tools often who know what they should do. Someone else said that drills should have flat tops instead of curved so you can press them against a vertical straight edge and get 90 degree drill press like precision from it. It's so simple yet no one has done it.

Muy bueno!!! Gracias por compartirlo!!
Hats off pal ,super good work . I wish I could have one like this . tks
Brilliant! Saved. Wanna make for myself.
Nice! I really like your attention of details
Its a hell of an idea, good work man!
Matheus Ramalho Thank you!
That is a great idea. I'm going to use my everlast to weld myself one soon.
Thank you Tuomas, You are getting quite famous all around the world. Watched your video last year and frankly was intimidated my all the cutting and welding.
Anyway I gave it a go using my Milwaukee grinder. The only issue I had was that I picked a very thin material for the stand and also the plate strips did not have enough incline in my grinder.Anyway I still messed with the design and ended up using the plate from a small cordless circular saw and attaching the grinder with a door hinge (Screw grinder strips to top of hinge, then screw bottom hinge to plate make sure is all squared)
Thanks again Tuomas let us know if you can come up with a design that you can using only hardware instead of welding since most people either lack the skill or the resources.
Thank you for the comment. And no welding- version sounds a good idea. Thank you for that. 😊👍
Приветствую, друг! Спасибо из России за умное приспособление. Пригодится многим самодельщикам!
I have seen many versions of this, but nothing as versatile as what you have made. Great work.
I was a shop teacher as the Americans call it.I spent a lot of time teaching simple ideas to students. Your design ticks all the boxes.
It is safe, simple, visually pleasing, easy to make, easy to fit and works extremely well.
Do you have industrial design in your background?
Your work is brilliant.

Nice work! A handy tip for restrikes on that SMAW electrode....keep a file handy and a couple strokes over the end of the rod, after each tack will make for real easy restarts...
