A very simple, fast and useful tool. If you do not have a plasma cutter, it will certainly make your job easier. The last time I cut 2 big wheels to the stove and I spent a lot of time cutting, with this cap I would do it much faster.

The AC compressor comes from a scrap yard, you can use any one that has an electromagnet.

Fantastic. I rarely comment on RUclips videos. I love your channel and the practical stuff you make with tools anyone could have. For those commenting about the "wobbling". Its a self aligning bearing and ment to move like this. It makes no difference to to final circle and IMO allows for ware in the disc. If it didn't move he would have to drop the grinder as the disc gets smaller. Keep up the great work.

Great idea..... maybe you could make the wire to the inline switch from the electro-magnet longer, then you could hang the wires from above ( from a hook in the ceiling) and then you wouldn't have to keep moving the wires, and you could cut every circle in one motion 😀👍 Really enjoyed you video.

Impressive. My only question is why use a live axle bearing that flexes and pivots? It doesn't seem like that would help and would in fact not allow for a perfect circle. Is it mainly for penetration?

I like the concept, But shame about the bearing not being fixed in its bracket
Ashley Burton With fixed one you can't cut because you don't have movement on Z axis .. so this spheric bearing let you cutting this circular sheets. If you look at the edge of cutted piece you will see kind of chamfer (sloped edge) and this occurs becuse of the movement of the joystick like.

Why is the pivot point so wobbly? Should the bearing be fix so the cut is precise?
