      I mean if you use a welder a decent amount ... you should be fine.. practice and anyone can weld straight , just don't think your going to weld something square the first time you pick up a welder.

    • @josephrodriguez5269
      @josephrodriguez5269 4 года назад +2

      If you want to make your piece square use tack welds to set your piece to your desired angle. If you check your angle after each tack,once you get 4 points tacked it shouldn't move. Plus if your angle isn't right you can cut the tack weld easily and reset for the angle you want.

    I really like your project I think it has a lot of potential. But the biggest thing and I see wrong and I don't know if anybody has mentioned it cuz there's a lot of stuff here that I can't read, the fact that you're welding on galvanized steel is a big No-No!!! It gives off a lot of harmful gases, when heated will kill you!!! Someone had mentioned about grinding off the galvanized before you will and you will find that you get a better Arc. I say don't even entertain the idea of welding on galvanized without the proper respiratory equipment. Other than that this is one of the best belt grinding builds and one of the easiest belt grinding builds I've seen to date great job

      Cool build. I'm liking it. Might give it a go. All you have to do is drink whole milk and the galvanizing poisoning will go away just like Irish potatoes on your eyes when you welder burn them. Is it bad to breathe yes, should you breathe it no, but in the event you have a sick belly and can't breathe drink some whole milk. Done it for years and I'm still here.

    The belt's edges and its dancing gives some view about grinder's balance. All rollers must be perfectly parallel.

    You're tracking wheel can use a couple more bearings. 😆 Minimalist. I like it.
