This helped a lot I had my first day of mma and the instructor just through me in the fire with zero experience and didn't teach me basics of shooting so was kinda discouraged
Did all of your routines 25 times each side and fuck man it felt good and was fucking hard :D good to come back with your videos from a flu! thank you for your great work! You are one of the few who really can explain approaches !!!
Hello! My 7 year old son wants to start wrestling, and we would like to start together. What should we start with? What would be the first 3 basic techniques we should start with? Thank you!
Definitely got to work my double leg take down there's times I would try it and wind up in the guillotine just inspiring not in a street fight great video this channel deserves more subscribers
Thanks, bash! Indeed the guillotine happens mostly when you shoot with your head down; practice this way with speed and power and you’ll be able to take down much better guys! Thanks for the support 🙏
Hey Mein Name, thanks for the suggestion, we'll touch on this in our upcoming Guard video overview, but meantime, here's an excellent tutorial by Lachlan Giles on the Knee Slide Pass here: ruclips.net/video/Hcjo1LI4LKw/видео.html Enjoy, and practice well 👊 - Patrick
Good question. It's possible to do it without dropping the knee completely, but when you do, it gives you base quickly further forward (compared to foot only), which allows you to better move your hips under your training partner/opponent's center of mass, which will give you a stronger position and make it easier to off-balance them. If you don't put the knee down, you have to rely more on forward momentum and less on lifting to finish the takedown. Hope this helps! - Patrick

@@EffectiveMartialArts thanks!
very very good . I like this :)
Question :- why do we put the knee on the floor? Does it serve a purpose?
